Located 20 miles northeast of Charlotte, Concord combines historical charm with contemporary living. Current rental rates average $1,340 for a one-bedroom apartment. The city centers around Concord Mills mall and a downtown district featuring independent merchants, antique stores, and a seasonal farmers market. Outdoor recreation opportunities abound at Lake Fisher's 534-acre park, while motorsports enthusiasts appreciate the proximity to Charlotte Motor Speedway and NASCAR team facilities.
Concord's story began in 1750 when German and Scots-Irish settlers named the area "Concord" after resolving their differences about the county seat's location. Today, the city continues to grow while preserving its historical character. Residents have access to healthcare at Atrium Health Cabarrus and higher education at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College. The historic courthouse, now home to the Cabarrus Arts Council, anchors the local arts community.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Laurel View
clean and beautiful amenities, large and sunny apartments
Property Manager at Laurel View, Responded To This Review
We're thrilled to hear that you're enjoying the apartments and amenities. Your positive feedback is greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience!
The parking is terrible. They only give you one pass per apartment which is ridiculous. The second car must park near the leasing office and if it is not parked in the designated area they threaten to tow your vehicle even if you are a paying resident. Something needs to be done. And the trash is always overflowing. Sometimes the trash has to be set next to the dumpster because it is always full.
I really liked these apartments when I first moved in, but there have been a few issues. There is not enough space for parking, but the biggest issue is trash pick up. The garbage area is overflowing. The bins are basically a mountain of trash, and it has gotten to the point where trash is pilled all around the garbage area and has been this way for weeks. It's even to the point where some unwanted pests are around. I would stay away from this place until they get it together.
I live here and would not recommend it. Management is terrible at communicating and they don’t care about the residents. I was so hopeful that they would make things right after they made a big mistake putting me out of thousands of dollars, but they just kept saying they would do something and when I finally confronted them in person they said they can’t help me. So disappointed at the way they handle business and treat people. I would look elsewhere if you are looking for an apartment. There are plenty of apartments in the area that are run much better and value their residents.
Management treats tenants as small children with unnecessary rules, regulations and is certainly not LUXURY!!! Not enough parking spaces. They give passes to one car per apartment and then threaten to tow your car if your second car is not parked in the correct area. Pool closes at 8 PM during the summer...Grill and Fire pit are useless because they are inside the pool area and you can't get in and use them. Dog park..Joke at best Maintenance of grounds is poor, dead plants, grass clippings and debris from lawn service is left in common hallways. Dumpsters are filled to capacity and tenants just leave garbage on ground...Personally seen mice, snakes and a raccoon..scurry out of dumpster area. Overall, probably the least expensive rent wise in the area, but you get what you pay for. If you are leasing I would speak with present tenants before signing a lease!!!!

I am sorry that you feel that way and we try to make it as easy as possible to have everyone follow the policies that our corporate has put in place. Which is including the pool. County law says we have to close the pool by Dusk but we have left it open past 8 because of that rule that county has. We are not approved by county to any further than that. The pool area is open all year around for you to enjoy the grill and fire pit. With the grounds, if you see an area that we need to address or missed please let us know we always here to listen and the dead bushes, construction is replacing all that they have installed that are no longer living. We just need to be patient because they want to wait until all construction is complete to replace. We are aware of the trash issue and we have set it up to have the trash picked up twice a week instead of the once. Please know that we are here for you and if you have questions or concerns please let me, Kim or Mary Ann know.
Currently live in these apartments. They are very nice, but if you have neighbors like mine above you then you will be up all night with the amount of noise made there. I’ve done a few complaints and nothing has changed. Apartment managers are very nice though.
No apartments to see yet but manager is very informative and went out of her way to get what I asked for. Going to be great living at Laurel View.
