Overall, even with the exceptions listed above, Larkspur has been a very nice place to live. The staff is welcoming and will always try to be as helpful as possible. Moving from another state to a new community is somewhat difficult and Larkspur has helped making the transition easy with all of the activities they offer allowing potential friendships easily obtainable.

I wasn't a fitness buff before I moved here, but having a variety of classes offered 6 days a week has gotten me into the fitness center 6 days a week. Love the dancing, the weights, the focus on balance, use of bands, really good stretching, and some yoga too. Our 3 instructors are friendly, fun, and knowledgeable. I have a bunch of medical issues but as my weight dropped and my ability to sustain movement increased, they all said, "Whatever you're doing is working! Keep it up!" After 6 years here at Larkspur, I'm a very satisfied resident! This place offers so many amenities, but I love that I'm never pressured to attend anything. The classes in the Fitness Center are my favorite activity...but I know there is so much else too...just like a cruise on land!

I am grateful that I found Larkspur for my living needs. I love the location, my community here, my park behind the facility where I love to walk and much more. Folks care about each other here and help each other when help is needed. The staff are friendly and work to help the Larkspur community with their needs. Maintenance requests are addressed and completed as soon as possible. Communication can be an issue at times. I believe that is addressed and has improved since I have been a resident here.

Wonderful senior community from residents to maintenance and office staff. Facility is well maintained and I love my apartment.
Friendly, great maintenance service, clean, activities are available and very diverse. Great location, easy to get to shopping, restaurants, etc. GREAT place to exercise, in the facility and in our beautiful laked park behind the facility. Community! It is easily made and felt here at Larkspur.
The property is beautiful and there are lots of great activities to participate in. The residents and staff are very nice but you need a hefty pocket book to live there. The rental prices are extremely higher than the “fair market value” and there are so many extra fees tacked on to the monthly rental amount. They better have a hefty pocketbook.

Community has changed a lot just in the 10 months I've been here. The activity bus was removed, so no off-site activities. Social events are the same old thing, always the same people attending and don't accommodate times of working residents. Lots of staff turnovers so no one knows what's going on. Many people moving out due to declining property.

Our activity director, Noah, has made some changes to the program, and we are always coming up with new ways to keep our residents active and entertained. Our outings are planned in advance, but due to low participation, we had to adjust the month for our upcoming trip because we needed a large bus for transportation and didn't have enough people to justify it. No worries, we will be planning another outing, and hopefully, we will have better participation. Please reach out to Noah if you have any great ideas for our outings, new activities, or events. We are always looking for new ideas.
Alondra provided excellent guidance for the two tours I took. Application and leasing were really easy. Moving in was a smooth process. The apartment was clean and ready.

The areas that they present to you are well maintained and clean - but look closer. The landscaping is unmaintained and the pool is always being shut down by the city. There was never at time when I lived there that all 3 elevators worked at the same time. One has currently been down for over 2 months. The staff is rarely available and are rude beyond words when they are. They talk down to residents as if they were children, and treat almost none of them with any respect. The rents are far too high for what you get in return.

If you would like, please stop by the office so our staff can map out the closest elevator to you, making your travel to our amenities easier. Unfortunately, the pool is undergoing some annual maintenance, and as a result, it will be closed for a short time. This maintenance is scheduled for a couple of weeks out of our 6-month summer forecast. Thankfully, our contractors are completing the job faster than expected. Larkspur TwinCreeks has nice and friendly people living there. Therefore at this time many people are moving out due to many issues. Mostly due to the rent issues. Amenities are also being taken away from residents at this time. Landscaping is not being kept up. Office staff doesn’t even come out when a Firetruck and Ambulance comes to see about one of our residents ! Decorations are not being kept up with place. Its been 2 months and we still don’t have one of our elevators working ! The place is beginning to go down…. No, I would not recommend this place until it improves…

A lot of residents are not happy with the management of this senior adult complex. They raise our rent and take away many of the benefits we used to have living here: Shuttle service, entertainment, and daily breakfast.

I'm in my 5th year at Larkspur Twin Creeks. My favorite new thing is the use of technology to keep us informed...like the texting that goes on all the time from the office...and then them fielding questions of a general nature in a timely fashion in the same way. Also, our Activities Director does an amazing job keeping all the fitness classes and clubs going and scheduled appropriately. Love the variety we enjoy!!

Larkspur is wonderful overall property with amazing residents. It’s in a great location and my overall interaction with office staff, maintenance and activities director (Vonda) has always been positive. I highly recommend to any senior that wants to feel safe and that they’re getting great value for their money.
