I have lived here 16 months and find the complex well kept, quiet and safe. The apartments are spacious and in good condition. I live in a 2 bedroom with a private yard. I have not found an apartment complex with yards as big as the ones here. It was the reason I picked this complex. My yard is 800 sq ft. Staff is friendly and responsive. The only two cons (traffic & IH-35 noise) are not specific to this complex but to the area. However, the road noise doesn’t bother me and the shopping is all super close so I am rarely in the traffic. Plus there are multiple routes that don’t involve 35. I would definitely recommend The Landing at Double Creek.

Landing at Double Creek is super close to a ton of shops and food places, but still tucked away in a safe and quiet area. The landscaping is nice and parking spots are big enough for everyone. I love living here.

Every thing has been going well, the apartment is clean and in good condition. The community seems fine and friendly. The dog park is fine my only complain is that people don’t clean after their dogs and in other areas there is trash but other than that I have liked living there

True rating: 3.5. In the first 15-mo. lease I signed, there were several issues in the unit that involved multiple maintenance visits. Granted the issues were addressed in a semi-timely manner, the amount of hassle and "proving myself" that said issues existed made it quite the headache. Fast-forward to the end of the lease, I decided to renew for a second 15-mo. lease as there had not been many other things to address during the lease-term, nor did I want to deal with the pain of moving. The property changed management and the front-office staff consisted of, mostly, new faces. There were multiple issues with my lease renewal where the math just did not add up. After realizing I was being charged different amounts other than what I signed for, it took multiple screenshots and providing proof despite the complex being in the wrong with their numbers even after several weeks into the 2nd lease-term. Will not be renewing to avoid the headache and, sometimes, rude staff interactions.

Residents and staff here have been very nice and welcoming. There was a really loud washing machine that could be heard and it was taken care of within a day so I have no other serious issues as of yet. The upkeep of the green areas are tended to regularly and what I find truly amazing is the gates rarely break down. I think once one set was but it was fixed so quickly I didn't know about it until afterwards. Overall a thumbs up for the Landing at Double Creek.

It is going good so far. Its clean and feels safe. Management takes care of things at a timely rate. The towing is pretty ridiculous though. So if you cant afford to fix your car and get it registered, they have “the right” to tow your car if registration is out of date. Pretty ridiculous and honestly none of their business.

It is a lovely apartment complex with a variety of floor plans to choose. It’s awesome they have a dog park, gym, and a spacious clubhouse. Not to mention the pool with the all the grills to choose. Maintenance is friendly and pretty timely with requests as well.

I just moved to Austin & wanted to be close to my friends so this location is perfect. The Landing at Double Creek also had a good price w/ a move in special, plus nice apts in well maintained buildings, lots of dog walking areas & not just one dog park but three. Also, the leasing was easy with the staff smoothing the journey by being really friendly & helpful with everything.

I have lived here a year and love it! It is a quiet, clean, well maintained complex. The people are friendly. The staff is responsive. My rent is good and I have a large private yard. I highly recommend The Landing at Double Creek. Oh, it is in the onion creek traffic area BUT because of where it is located you have back ways to avoid the 35 traffic and it is 5 mins from Southpark Meadows Shopping.

I'm very disappointed that apartment management can't figure out how to provide a minimum level of cleanliness for us to live in. The rules governing valet trash pickup are being flagrantly ignored and the only penalty for it is paid by the tenants that follow the rules. I won't be renewing my lease next year. I've visited the complex next door and not only are they a couple hundred dollars cheaper but all the units have brand new as opposed to 10 year old appliances and the grounds ar spotless. There is a real sense of a neighborhood there as well.

Been great so far. More poop bags in the dog park would be nice. But literally everything else has been nice. The place is comfy and the gym space is nice and the pool is kept clean. Love the little store in the clubhouse. And the staff is nice.

My only issue is with the walls being entirely too thin and maintenance never being scheduled to visit. Pop ups whenever they are available is not convenient to people who work nights or have made plans to be away for the day.

Overall pretty good experience. Super quiet area! Maintenance is amazing at coming when needed and fixing any and all problems! Parking is great at times. I wish there was more visitor parking if anything as there are a few weekends that these slots seemed to be fully packed! But over all great place to live!!

My roommate and I like living here. The gym is very nice for an apartment gym and the pool is a nice hang out spot. I wish there was more things inside the dog park for the dogs but it’s a decent amount of space if you’re just throwing a ball around.
