Moved out and was charged for a ceiling repair due to a leak in the ceiling. Not possible for me to cause this damage. Charged for carpet cleaning when the carpet was perfect. It was going to be cleaned for a new tenant but i paid for that. Charged for scuff marks on the glass cooktop stove. So beware not to use the stove to cook with. Completely ridiculous charges. I moved out on very good terms and the management decided to throw these charges in my move out. BEWARE when moving out.
If you want to know what it's like to live with your neighbors and the "community" move to this place! You can hear everything inside your apartment, from the people outside and their cars to people going in and out of their homes, conversations, etc. And don't live on the second floor (not sure about the first) but you will hear the people above you using their garbage disposal, washing clothes, and if their room is above yours you will even hear them SNORE at night. What's even worse is you can hear when they are using the restroom (literally fluids going in the toilet and when they flush). It's been an absolute horror wfh living here. I haven't experienced any other issues in regard to maintenance or bugs (thank goodness), and the gyms and the park are nice but those are the ONLY redeeming qualities about this place. 0/10 do not recommend.

I can't leave fast enough! There is a roach infestation in my apartment. I continue to call the management office and all I am told is to call weekly if I want my apartment sprayed. They had been coming once a month and I was spraying with Home Defense once a week, and yet I still see them daily.

I enjoyed living in an apartment at Lakeview. I lived here for 3 years. Most importantly it felt safe to me. The ambiance is nice with trees and ponds and walking trails. The maintenance is very dependable with a quick turnaround of day or two after the request is submitted. My dog could also find care in the neighborhood itself. It is a good location. I will miss this place.
* Concierge locker is constantly full so packages are left out and stolen. * You’ll have to drive around to find parking and walk a good distance to your apartment. * Free parking is limited already and still they convert spots to be reserved at a nice extra cost. * You’ll have to pay extra to access the good gym. * Things break frequently but are fixed within 2-3days. * Crying babies & paper thin walls will keep you up if you’re a light sleeper. * Loud garbage trucks & lawn care machines will not let you be in peace at home. * Office people are useless at giving accurate costs & fees, so read everything well. * Forget about your deposit, they’ll add ridiculous fees when leaving so you’ll pay more. * Luxury apartments with loud ghetto people. * Gates break frequently and at least one stays open all night, so much for security. * No grills allowed at the pools. * Bought a house after 8 months, cost me to an additional $3,5k to leave. * Prorated Rent * 80% of you monthly rent * Full month's rent * Unjustifiable Fees
The staff never works on time and mostly rude especially the manager. It takes them more than a week to fix a light or flush of the toilet. I was traveling internationally and came back on Sunday nov. 3rd when I went to pay then rent on Monday they told me that I have to pay a $75 late fee and $10 per day as well, which was INSANE. I will never recommend this apartment to anyone since they don't have a customer focus mentality. Gate never works and make a loud noise if you live nearby!
I signed the lease online before seeing the apt. I will never do that again. I had SO MANY ISSUES from dirty carpet, water gushing from the toilet, spiders, cracks in walls, paint spots all over the floor, voided spots in the walls from bad painting. And this was at move in. I had to leave suddenly for military orders. I was told to wait until I got the final bill since I left the 1st week of Oct. I got the bill on the 9th and there was a late fee and a carpet charge. I talked to Jilli and she was ABSOLUTELY RUDE from the start and she kept cutting me off. I keep calling back to speak to a manager and haven't gotten anyone yet. No one even called me back from the voicemails I left. Because I left suddenly, I didn't have time to get the carpet professionally cleaned and have a receipt for it like she said I had to, so I cleaned the carpet myself and it was way better than when I moved in. She said I got the late fee for not paying on the first. I told her the office told me to hold off bc it would be prorated with the final bill, but she kept rudely cutting me off. My apt was definitely not luxury. You also get charged to use everything. Even $40 to use the gym after they close. Good luck trying to get a key to play basketball or racquetball. You even get charged a monthly fee to have your own vehicle parked in the parking lot.
I searched for weeks to find the right place and finally, after the 14th apartment, I came across Lakeview. This place has everything I could possibly need , was even able to cancel my gym membership because this place has a great gym with a sauna and indoor hot tub . Cherry on top was when Gema mentioned there are 4 stocked ponds with fish that you can catch and release . This was so cool to me because it was something I’ve never come across and being a country boy, it’s a perk to have on site . The price is great and area is wonderful . Gema gets mad props for being so professional, especially because I won’t lease if the staff sucks. Luckily Gema and the manager are great and I would most definitely recommend this place to anyone!
Don’t trust them and don’t sign anything with them. They are heartless and will take your money. Very unprofessional staff, and cheap updates throughout. Have your lawyer present to revise any contracts if you do intend on living here. This is your warning
After MONTHS of being sick, having to call out of work twice, and letting the front office know of an issue in our Dallas apartment almost a year ago, my fiancé and I go to move my stuff out last Saturday only to discover black mold (which I am severely allergic to) all over everything. I had to leave behind a piece of nice furniture because the mold was so bad due to a slow leak in the walls. I spoke with someone then (who wouldn't even look at the photos of the mold), tried calling again yesterday, and not a soul has gotten back with me about this HUGE disturbing issue. Great job, Lakeview at Parkside. I totally feel that "commitment to the highest quality customer service and maintenance repair" that you "promise". Not to mention the front office got my roommate and I our 60 day notice almost one week late, and now WE are stuck paying more beyond the agreement of our original lease because of the front office's utter negligence. finally spoke with T (for privacy), one of the apartment managers, and she is horrendous and awful to deal with. She called and immediately began the discussion in a combative tone, blaming me for not receiving the phone calls she *claims* she made yesterday. Never received anything from her. After arguing with her over that, I began to discuss the real issue at hand. She decided it would be appropriate not only to blame me for this issue at our apartment, but to interrupt everything I said to her. I finally had to call her out for being so rude by constantly interrupting everything I was saying with a rebuttal. She proceeded to be smart with me and would ask for permission to speak whenever I was finished with my statements. To add to this, Tammy blamed my roommate and myself, who are both flight attendants and who are gone for most of each month, for our not knowing about the mold in the space. She said had we been home more things would've been differently. She never once apologized. Never once told me how I could rectify the situation or offer any assistance from the complex as I file a claim with insurance. She never once stopped blaming us for the disgusting, vile situation at our space that also affected our upstairs neighbors. Her behavior was rude, hateful, and spiteful. Had she offered simple kind words or one small solution, one small gesture of good faith, I would not be returning to write this review about her specifically.

HI, Overall good apartment. Pros : Good parking space, Clean and spacious, laundry 24 hours available Cons : They do not clean lake water , little expensive.
Lakeside at river view in farmers branch, tx is a beautiful apartment complex. The actual apartments are extremely beautiful, and very well kept up. Also it's a very quite and pleasant environment. The walls are very well insulated, I never hear anything from my neighbors. The only bad thing about the complex is the parking, it's absolutely terrible.

I found it to be more than what I wanted to pay for an apartment but it had all the amenities that I could ever want.
