Great for the most part. It is really hard to find parking close by late at night is a negative but everything else for the most part is great.
Absolutely amazing experience! I moved here from out of state and I am so lucky I found this gem! The amenities are incredible. The residents and staff are so friendly! I’ve already started making friends here, and it’s been life changing so far!
The apartment itself is nice but I was not told about the terrible bug problem. Within 2 days of moving in, I’ve had to kill at least 10 spiders a day, earwigs, ants, and other insects.

Such a great place to call home! Clean and well maintained property. Wide open spaces. Makes you forget sometimes that you are actually in Fairfax County. Perfect place if you have dogs. The dog park is like no other. Friendly residents. Monthly free activities. Awesome gym. Exceptional pools and pool furniture. Plenty of parking. I would highly recommend.

Well kept, fairly safe community to live in. The amenities are nice. The apartments are being upgraded as people move out. You don't have to pay for parking. The community is very dog friendly.

I feel like I’ve been treated like a queen coming here into my new apartment. Everything seems to be absolutely brand new in pristine condition. Plus I got a little welcome gift and snacks in the refrigerator. I’ve had Maintenance come out here twice for a small things and didn’t have to wait even a day they are on top of their game. I

I honestly love it here so much. The maintenance staff are so amazing, always positive happy and oh so helpful! They genuinely care about fixing the issue and not just brushing you off. They're also so fast I almost feel bad! Who can say no to the amazing amenities! Free coffee that is so yummy! The club houses are great. I just wish it was easier to see and know when the second one is reserved! My dog is so happy im so happy. My biggest criticism though, the layouts of the apartments are no the smartest. They could be more open and the biggest apartment has absolutely NO CABINETS ! For the price you're really paying for the amazing community and living. But strictly on the apartment, they are very clean and modern, newly renovated... just poor layout! But so worth it. I couldn't be happier it's so beautiful and clean here and really feels safe ! I could go on.

This is by far the best apartment that we’ve lived since we came here in the U.S. Management has always been helpful and reliable. The apartment was clean and really beautiful. The surrounding was so relaxing and picturesque. All of their amenities were amazing. I couldn’t really ask for more coz this apartment is all you’ll be looking for. The monthly rent was reasonable especially with all the amenities and surroundings they have there. There is ample of parking so it will never be a problem too. They also have activities or events every month which is really amazing. The dog park is huge and clean. So I really love living in that community as it was also peaceful. If only we don’t have to move out of state, I will always choose The Lakeside for our apartment.

The maintenance team responds very quickly to requests, which is a big plus. However, the building is quite old, and basic renovations don’t seem to significantly improve the overall quality of the apartments (e.g., water pressure difference in room 1 vs room 2, or the small water tank causing hot water to run out mid shower/bath). That said, management appears to be doing their best, and the fast maintenance service is appreciated. I’m not familiar with the local rental market, but I’d say I’m reasonably satisfied with how efficiently issues are addressed when they arise.

We love our experience so far at Lakeside. It’s a very safe community in a great location. The property is beautiful and well kept. The apartments are well maintained and modern. All of the staff is very responsive even on weekends. I can’t recommend it enough!

Lakeside Apartments are a gem in Centreville, conveniently located near great restaurants, 4 major grocery stores (Giant, Trader Joe’s, Lidl, Lotte), a great library, excellent schools. Also located near Route 66, 29, 28, and other major transportation arteries. Inova Fair Oaks hospital is one of the best in Virginia and there are many emergency walk-in locations. The best, though, are the many amenities! EV chargers, a great package concierge, great dog park, a beautiful lake, places to walk safely in the neighborhood, a garden for residents, carports available for rent, and a new sitting area, along with 2 beautiful clubhouses. The maintenance is fantastic! Even on the weekends, the friendly workers are available for emergency needs. I could go on and on about how hard-working all the employees here are. From scheduling social events, to executing them - and there are many fun events - this is a robust, diverse, wonderful, place to live!

During the application process there was a little hiccup with timing and results, but when presented, there was a quick outcome. From moving in up until now Jordan has been great as an associate. Maintenance is attentive and complete work orders in a timely manner.

Moved in a month ago and everything has been wonderful. The management team is extremely responsive and maintenance is very quick. The grounds and amenities are wonder and they truly care about making sure their residents enjoy being home. For Halloween they through a huge party and hosted trunk or treat for the kids, Thanksgiving we have a neighborhood Friendsgiving scheduled and all are free of charge for residents.

The front office is great, the facilities are beautiful, the grounds are constantly being maintained, they have a great gym/multi-purpose room for exercise, they have a community garden, a PHENOMENAL dog park, and great communal outdoor places. I’ve asked several people, before moving in, on their perspective and I’ve received zero negative responses.

Unfortunately, I cannot say that my move-in or the community was bad because we didn’t even get the chance to meet staff (in person) nor move-in. I truly wish that the reviews reflected the customer service in general as our experience was horrible, once approved. Staff seemed professional at first, until after the approval process. We applied and got approved however, there was absolutely no urgency to get materials to us nor inform us of the list of items needed to complete. Mind you, we are moving 20.5 hours to the VA area. It was imperative that this process be smooth as we are shipping vehicles, flying, driving all of our things, etc. I had to constantly prop and request documents. One day, I called and was “put on hold” but actually could hear the entirety of the conversation amongst the employees (Manager and another colleague to my understanding). The conversation was downgrading and unprofessional. We may have been out of money but we were given a warning and decided to not move forward with the process. We canceled everything and found another community that is way more fitting. The customer service at the new community is night and day from this community. Please be mindful of this prior to applying. I simply genuinely care about others experience, especially when traveling from out of state. It can be very stressful and intimidating, but this only adds to the plate.

I have loved living at Lakeside. The amenities and staff are incredible and really enhance the experience. Free weekly events at Lakeside are a huge perk, and the staff works hard to make each event fun and unique. The location is perfect because it's near so many parks, DC, restaurants, etc.

From the time I first walked in wanting to tour the property to the time I did the walk-through after signing my lease, I've been treated with respect, patience, and kindness. Roslyn is a gem and really sold the place to me as I was going to sigh with Regents Park in Fairfax. It's only been a day but so far, very good!

The unit I rented from Lakeside Apartments at Centreville Virginia had nothing but issues. Maintenance was quick to address them so I am grateful for it. But recently we seem to have found some mold growing in the air ducts. We are unsure so we asked the maintenance to come out w/ a HVAC specialist. They have not yet addressed this.

I've called Lakeside Apartments home for the past 10 months, and I love it here! The complex is stunning and meticulously maintained - it's a joy to come home to every day. My apartment is spacious, modern, and cozy, making it the perfect retreat after a long day. The staff is truly amazing - they're always smiling, willing to lend a hand, and go above and beyond to make sure I have everything I need. And let's not forget the fantastic amenities and activities! I've had a blast taking fitness classes and walking around the gorgeous lake - it's the perfect way to unwind. Speaking of the lake, those views? Breathtaking! I feel so lucky to have this little slice of paradise right in my backyard. All in all, I can't recommend Lakeside Apartments enough! If you're looking for a comfortable, convenient, and beautiful place to live, look no further. Trust me, you won't regret it!

Awesome view! If you enjoy walking there is a good amount of space to walk. You’ll never be bored there’s a ton to do. Pool table, table tennis, mini arcade, dog park etc… really enjoy my time here.

I like the overall living experience here. However, I wish the leasing office staff were more friendly and communicative. I was pretty disappointed about the conversation I had about my move out. It was time consuming.

I really love lakeside apartment, this is the best so far! The management were active in making the community alive, there's always a beautiful and organized event every now and then and I am loving that. Sad to say that I have to Move for my job.. missing this apartment and management so much.. If I would be asked where I want to live, I wouldn't think twice for lakeside apartment.
