Located in the central eastern part of the state of Wisconsin, Fond du Lac is situated at the bottom of Lake Winnebago, about 73 miles northeast of the state capital of Madison and roughly 67 miles northwest of Milwaukee. Its name means “bottom of the lake” in French, though the locals often affectionately call it "Fondy." Fond du Lac is filled with many great small neighborhoods surrounded by the rolling hillsides and farms of the state's vast farming region. It's a great area to raise a family, either in town or in the more rural surrounding areas. The community also provides plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities, cultural events and great food.

Nice place to live. Close to the hospital and downtown. The property is kept clean and overall is a great environment.
I've been living at Lake Pointe for over a year, and it's been a great experience. The apartments are well-designed, and the kitchens, with their modern layout and granite countertops, are a standout feature. The community is clean, and management has been responsive and helpful.
Pet friendly, quiet neighbors, friendly and helpful staff/maintenance. Apartments are renovated, all modern appliances. Everything is well maintained and I’ve had no issues living here the past 3 years. Rental rates are very reasonable being so close to the hospital and Marian University. There’s a park across the street and plenty of walking areas around the neighborhood. Extra storage and laundry area in the basement. Love living here!
High traffic hallways with doors constantly slamming. I had to remove pictures off my wall from how often this occurred because they kept falling off due to entire apartment shaking. There’s also a really bad odor that goes through the entire building. The heat barely functions and there’s no central AC so it’s essentially a greenhouse. The floors squeak really bad throughout the entire apartment. There’s constant emergency vehicle sirens due to being next to hospital and near fire station. There’s also daily helicopter flyovers because of hospital helipad. The hallways wreak of weed 24/7 and there’s constant parties. The only good experience I had were the maintenance workers. They are extremely sweet and fix things up very quickly.
