I have lived here for two years, and it has always been a pleasant experience. They are very good about maintenance requests and making updates to the surrounding areas. The only negative thing is,since new management, it has been hard to get a hold of anyone to communicate. Other than that, when I have got in touch, they are always very helpful.

Love the area, but maintenance and landscaping is terrible here. Especially if you are not near the office. They only care about making the office landscaping nice. The units are empty beds and over grown strubs. But I love the lake around the complex and the location in town.

Decent community here. Staff is helpful and communicative, and the access to mail, trash, parking, and nature are great. I don't like that my porch doesn't have railings, but overall it's a good experience.

This place is a masterclass in how not to run an apartment complex. Communication? Nonexistent. Maintenance? A myth. You can call, leave voicemails, submit online requests, and still get the same response: silence. If you enjoy paying rent to be completely ignored, you’ve found your new home. The apartment its self is nice and the location is amazing, the lake trail is so nice to walk. I just wish they prioritized communication and actually checked the voicemails they make you leave. I’m still waiting for things to get fixed since I’ve moved in 9 months ago.

My brother and I both rented units in this place, and we've had nothing but problems. My unit was full of spiders, and about half the lights needed to be replaced when I moved in. The bathroom cabinet was broken, and despite multiple emails and phone calls to the office, I’ve been completely ignored. It’s honestly ridiculous—there are supposedly four people working in the office, yet no one ever answers or responds. My brother’s unit was infested with cockroaches. He lives with his wife, their baby, and a dog, and management barely did anything to address the issue. One of the main reasons I chose to live here was to be close to my brother and his family so I could help them with the newborn. That plan was ruined—he ended up moving 20 minutes away because, in his words, he was done with this place. That’s how bad it got. The buildings are deteriorating, and they don’t even bother with basic upkeep. There was a huge spider nest right outside my apartment. I pointed it out during the walkthrough with the agent, and when I realized they weren’t going to do anything about it, I had to clean it myself. On top of all that, I moved in about three weeks ago and still haven’t received the MagSafe lock needed to access the community gates. That’s a basic security and access issue, and it’s completely unacceptable. To be completely honest, I regret signing a lease here and I want out of it. This is without a doubt the worst place I’ve ever lived, with the absolute worst customer service.

I moved into lake Lynn apartments recently and so far so good. Office staff is very friendly and helpful, the area I reside in seems calm and safe. I’ve only checked out the pool so far and it’s very nice, a little crowded but that’s where you can play it by time and go when there’s less people. My actual apartment is nice, very spacious and not too many defects. Overall it’s decent.

The dog park is too small to even through a ball with my dog. The US Marshalls kicked in my neighbors door, so concerned about who lives here. There were gunshots a few weeks ago and the police showed up. It would be nice to have my place painted and maybe updated after living here for 5 years. I called in but they said they don’t do painting of apartments. The location is amazing, the rent is fair and the parking is amazing.

Since living here things have not gotten better, hence why we are not renewing our lease. Between maintenance and other issues its just not worth it anymore especially as much as our building gets ignored.

I’ve had a good time living here it’s not to loud and the pet rent is so affordable unlike other places I’ve lived or looked into. The pet wash station is a life saver!

My biggest issue and something I can NOT overlook is the constant and I mean constant cigarette smoke smell in my unit. I am a non smoker and I was put into this apt sight unseen due to plumbing issues in my original agreed upon unit. It seems the venting is all connected so when my neighbors are smoking in there unit it comes into mine through the ventilation system system, ie the exhaust fans in the bathrooms, the register in my main bedroom where the smell will wake me up and the washing machine. Even with the lid shut it’s bad so every time I go into my laundry/pantry it reeks of smoke. I have even come home to the very distinct smell of weed through out my apt. Because someone is smoking in their unit. Now my young son has asthma and this is very bad for him. This is extremely disgusting and disappointing and taints any positive thoughts and experiences I way have here.

I no longer feel safe due to the crime that has gone up since living here. Also, the inconsiderate neighbors that leave their pets poop on the lawn directly outside the unit, residents who obstruct the path of the sidewalk with their over-sized utility trucks and sometimes makes it difficult for others to the leave their parking spaces. I am sometimes reluctant to request work-orders due to some dishonest maintenance crew who also leave behind a mess after completing work-orders.
The people in the office have been very helpful and nice. They do their best to make repairs in a timely fashion. The repair people have always been very friendly.

I'm in one of the older buildings on property. The apartment is fine and I appreciate getting the weather stripping for my apartment a few months ago. But the shared spaces could definitely use some TLC (stairwells and laundry center). It's hard to reach the leasing office on the phone or in person.

I’ve been here since March of 2022 and it has steadily gone down hill. The stairways and landings are always filthy with ceiling falling down onto the stairs. Appliances need updated. You smell dog poop when you sit on your porch. My water and sewer bills have been $500 for the last nine months. Which is due to them fixing something that wasn’t broke. Now it is actually broke and nothing(still going through it with them threatening eviction as well due to their own negligence. If you want to pay your bills and live your life in peace this is not the place unfortunately. This has been my experience

Beautiful wooded apartment right on the greenway! Responsive staff and love maintenance. The apartment is a little dark at night but I generally feel safe. Overall a peaceful living environment.

I've lived in the community here for just over 3 years. I realize the complex is older than most of the places in the area, but the affordability and quick access to work and the amenities that this side of Raleigh has to offer makes it just right for me. Having the Lake Lynn/Hare Snipe Creek trail just outside my building is great. Maybe this year the clubhouse pool will be open again!

Mostly good, other than some factors out of your control (glitches with change of management company; upstairs neighbor issues; porch issues). The big issue that you can resolve is allowing access to the full lease document. Office team is friendly and helpful and willing to look in to any issue. Staff has become more communicative within the last few months too, which is great to see.
