Beautiful place to live overall - Meredith and the other staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. The property is wonderful and very well maintained. The only issue for me is I don't understand the use of Pioneer Energy Managment for the electric and water bill as there seems to be numerous additional charges ($40 or more monthly) attached to my bill which over a year will definitely add up.

I lived at this apartment complex for 3 years , and overall, I had a pleasant experience. The property itself is lovely and well-maintained, with nice accommodations that made daily living comfortable. The staff was generally friendly and helpful, and the neighbors were also courteous for the most part—creating a positive community vibe. However, my main (and really only) complaint is the lack of sound insulation. and rent raising every year that I live there with the lack of sound insulation I don't think that these apartments are worth what they are chargingThe walls are very thin—no exaggeration. I could hear my neighbors cough, open and close their doors, and carry on normal conversations as if they were in my own apartment. If you’re someone who’s sensitive to noise, be mindful of this when choosing a unit. Additionally, if your apartment faces the street, you’ll hear every honk, engine rev, and general street noise—especially at night. If you’re a light sleeper, I highly recommend requesting a unit toward the back of the complex where it’s quieter. Overall, it’s a great place to live if you’re not too sensitive to sound, with a lot of positives that make it worth considering. Also triple check that your car doors are locked Over the course of the three years of me staying there there was two times where i would find my car dooor To be slightly open and all of the papers in my car ranshack, but nothing was taken . I did notify the apartment And try to alert neighbors on the portal, but for some reason, those posts would not ever see daylight.

I recently moved into Lake Club and it’s been a dream ever since. To start, Meredith was the best! She’s very thorough and chipper (even at the end of the day). Not only that, but she was very understanding of my situation. The process is lightening fast. I filled out the application and was approved on the same day. Moved in 2 days later. All of the amenities are very nice including a gorgeous bonfire pit and a playground (which has been hard to find as I have a child who loves to be outside). Speaking of, this falls right in Olentangy school district which is A1. It also seems very safe as there seems to be patrol around the area. The interior is GORGEOUS. The kitchen is my favorite part of any home and this one is fabulous! Room is very spacious and everything was very clean down to the smallest details. I am very grateful to be here and can’t wait to make this place home!

I could not be happier with this apartment complex. I wasn't able to be on location before I signed my lease, and the staff was incredibly helpful remotely. When I moved in, everything was better than I expected. The location is great, and the apartment was everything I was looking for. I'd highly recommend!

Alli was so very happy and helpful. She was so excited for me and with me when I got approved. She was very informative and answered all my questions. Alli made the process easy for me by sending all the info I needed. She made me feel eager to be a part of a community that she was working at. The apartments are so nice and the community was clean and manicured. I can’t wait to move in to my new home!!

I just recently moved from The Lake Club and it was bitter sweet. I just had a baby and moved to a house which is great but it was hard to say goodbye to this community. The staff is amazing and the maintenance staff was the best I’ve ever come across. I highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a comfortable home.

In this day and age, very few places are as great as they appear to be online-----Lake Club is the exception! From first contact, Brittany (and team) were excellent at communication of all details in a timely manner! Move-in was simple due to the fact everything was done ahead of time! Love having coffee at the Clubhouse too! The community is very nice! The location is just fantastic for close proximity to everything!

Great location choice along with an amazing staff and company holds their values, perfect for families or someone wanting to keep to their own.

I am currently a resident with The Champion Companies. It’s been a wonderful experience living in this community. They are very helpful with anything you may need, and very accommodating to anyone who may need some help. It’s been a great experience to live here.

What an excellent complex! I must express to any future residents how effective the staff, and property managers are at what they do. Firstly, all repairs done on my unit has always been done on the day of the incident. Maintenance is clean, respectful, and very accommodating. Additionally, communication is effective and streamlined. I am aware when repairs are done, if they are being done, and what all needs done. Secondly, the leasing staff and property managers are some of the most polite, respectful, and communicative people I have experienced! They are willing to help you out, and sort out any discrepancies you may have. Communication is clear, concise, and thoughtful. I cannot rave enough about my overall experience and recommend those looking for an apartment to look here!

The property is beautiful! From start to finish the staff helped me apply and they genuinely made me feel cared for through the process. Rocky had answers for all my questions and Ally helped me get my lease completed. I highly recommend this property.

Everyone’s super friendly, the place is really well maintained. I had 1 minor issue and wanted the water heater turned up a little and they handled it that day. Really happy with my choice to live here.

Lake Club's staff was very kind and considerate throughout the move-in process. Adam called me on my move in day to let me know that the carpet wasn't up to their standards and hooked me up with a new one same-day! Justice, Molly and a few other friendly faces had updates for my application process when they were available and were nothing but kind and helpful the whole way. My previous residence was Champion-owned, but after it sold I noticed a huge decline in service communication and the cleanliness of the public areas -- very messy now with no regard and it leads me to feel unappreciated as a resident who does try and maintain a standard. I'm satisfied once again living with Champion until I have myself a home of my own. Thanks to all at Lake Club!

Property is taken care of beautifully. Very clean. Office staff is super friendly. Maintenance issues are addressed quickly and professionally. Love the Luxor package station for easy package retrieval. Quiet and safe neighborhood.

The apartment is very spacious and pretty clean, and the staffs here in the community are very friendly and helpful! The only negative thing I find is the air circulation. It seems to have some sort of smell whenever walking into the apartment from outside. However, opening the windows does help a bit.

Me and my roommate can’t wait to move in soon. It’s our first apartment and it’s really cute. They made it really easy to get our application done and they even have the pool open already. The location is great too

The girls in the office made my out of state work relocation super easy. I was so stressed out with it but I was able to do everything online and I love it here. The community is cute and my apartment is spacious and it’s an awesome area

I have absolutely loved living at lake club. The office staff and maintenance is great. They are friendly and fast. The gym is really great and they have free Starbucks. 10 out of 10.

The Community Manager was misleading in the application process. When they came back with their decision they had outdated and incorrect information, they indicated that they could not approve us based on Delinquent past or present credit obligations and Delinquent past or present rental obligations however, these situations where never disclosed as being a problem when discussing the requirements of approval. Additionally, this is not a house loan approval this is an apartment approval. This company is expecting perfect credit history. This explains why there are so many vacancies. They also require 3 times (3x) the base rent to qualify to be even considered (which we met). No one should be subject to this type of treatment and mischaracterization.

Great place and great management team. Move-in process is always complicated but the team here will make sure you have everything you need and will make your life much easier, thank you for that!

Wow! I cannot say enough good things about Lake Club at Polaris. Everyone who works here is beyond caring and goes out of their way to make sure you have everything you need and that you truly feel at home. Maintenance is quick with their responses and to get the job done. Neighbors are all respectful and wave hello when you go by. We have loved living here and would recommend it to anyone!!

To be honest there is not a single thing I would say that is negative about this apartment complex. From management to the maintenance crew everything is immaculate. I don't usually leave reviews but my man these people have gone above and beyond for me since I moved in. Any minor issue I have had they have been ON IT right away. A couple of days ago I thought my cat ran away and some guys from the maintenance team stayed after hours just to help me look for my cat. There aren't many places that would go that far to help someone out, and they did. Thanks to John, Jerry, and Mike for being awesome at their jobs and genuine people. The apartments are super nice, the community is great, the location is 10/10, and the price is extremely fair for everything that we get. Definitely would recommend this apartment complex to anybody. Love it here!

Our family has been at Lake Club for 5 years. We absolutely love the staff and amenities offered within the community. Not to mention the amazing schools of Olentangy! Thanks, Lake Club!

The communication and service during quarantine before we even moved in was excellent. Everything was made as simple as possible for us! We have been here a month now and it has been great, they are very accommodating, friendly, and plus, they recycle. Overall we are very satisfied.

I had just recently moved in. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. The maintenance and staff have been so welcoming, helpful, and friendly. I love the apartment as well as the amount of parking near my unit. Every unit at LakeClub has access to various amounts of parking which is nice for guests, and being able to always park close. There are a variety of residents from young professionals to families. Great location, and close to shopping, food, businesses, etc.

I've been living in Lake Club for about three months now. When I was searching for an apartment, Lauren listened to my concerns and answered my questions. She was kind and welcomed me and my puppy to Lake Club in a kind and warm manner. The property is clean, well maintained, and I constantly see staff on the grounds. I love my apartment. I moved into a 2 bedroom. It has all the space I need and I'm in love with my walk-in closet.

Don’t waste your time. Way overpriced for the cheap finishes in their “renovated” apartments and will find any way possible to continue to charge you even after you move out. For example, my blinds were pulled all the way up and never used for two years while living there and they claim that all of the blinds in my apartment were broken and charged $60 for each one. What a joke. Would not recommend living in any champion apartments with the customer service they provide. Greedy.

The apartments are decent for the price and I would have left a positive review except for three recent experiences. First, a co-worker who moved into Lake Club around when I did moved out because he no longer felt safe. One day while he was at work his apartment was broken into in broad daylight and the thief went through all his things with a fine-toothed comb taking cash, computers, his TV set and even found some credit cards that had been hidden carefully. All this happened in broad daylight, with staff and maintenance staff onsite during regular business hours. When he inquired about security cameras he found that there were few, and the ones that were there were broken. With such a PTSD invoking episode he chose to move somewhere else immediately. Second, the apartment we were in had some sort of a growth/mold on the inside which irritated my nose constantly and put me on the brink of an asthma attack on several occasions. My numerous requests for remediation fell on deaf ears. My last unfortunate experience was on move out. I spent several days cleaning and preparing the apartment for the next resident and left it like it was before I moved in. So I was very surprised when after moving out, instead of getting my deposit back I was saddled with a bill for $500 to replace the stove top! Worst of all, there is no way to speak to a human being to inquire about the charges; you are directed to leave a voicemail on a hotline and they will supposedly call you back. They never called me back despite having left repeated messages. Steer clear!

When Lake Club has their community events they have their current residents fill out a card to for a drawing to win a $25 gift card if they give the community a 5 star review on-line. I've been living here for a couple of years. The apartment upgrades are CHEAP! Poorly redone. Don't be fooled by the models. If you do decide to rent an apartment you will need to ask to see your unit you will be renting so that you can see the real modeling they did. Also, the complex seems to be going downhill. Trash is being left everywhere except near the club house where future residents can't see it. It appears they keep that area clean and fresh. However, the further you are away from the main entrance (by the clubhouse) the more trash, less flowers, and upkeep of the buildings you will see. Cigarette butts are everywhere!!! Tenants leave their cigarette butts in the mulch which in some cases have cause minor fires in the complex. So residents do not pick up their dogs waste afterwards. Lately they have been letting residents even leave trash outside their units. This allows for animals and bugs. The breezeways need cleaned. Full of cob webs. Some serious maintenance just needs to be done. Beware of the utilities at this complex. The electric and water are sub metered. The electric is your own usage. However, the water is not. The water is billed by sharing. In other words you share the usage cost among all your neighbors. The electric company they use is billed by your own meter but they also charge you an account fee and your share of CAM charges which is all the lights in the complex and clubhouse and fitness buildings. Average cost is about $20 extra a month on top of your own usage. The water bill also has an account fee. Therefore, the complex is making money even off your utilities. Garages went from $65 to $85. They don't even have garage door openers. That's a true joke. Future renter beware!

I love the community vibe here, families and pets welcomed! The staff are so friendly and personable, it really makes it feel like a home.

So I looked for apartments for some time and towards the end of my search I knew I definitely wanted to go with champion properties. Their customer service is absolutely unmatched. I chose lake club due to their rates/rent specials and I haven't regretted it. A bit about the complex: the grills actually work, there are always plenty of parking spots next to your apartment, the clubhouse is always accessible, and it feels very, very safe. I am a 23 yo female living alone and I have never felt unsafe while here. That was something I was incredibly worried about during my search and I am so glad that I found such a "homey" complex. My boyfriend even left his car unlocked for a day and night on accident and nothing was missing- you can't find that in a lot of complexes. About the apartment: the amenities are *very* nice. There is a lot of storage, the rooms feel big, and the carpet is good quality. I have a neighbor with a baby and a young toddler- I barely hear the little ones at all when they cry, and that's only if they're right on the other side of the wall and I'm listening really closely. The doorways have plenty of space to move in big furniture and the windows are good quality. About the staff: Amanda, Kali, & Lindsey are AMAZING. They go 150% out of their way for their residents and have been SO welcoming. If that's important to you, look no further. In interest of honesty, here are the drawbacks/negatives of my experience so far: this is *not* a smoke free community, something I did not pay attention to before signing. My apartment reeked of smoke when I first moved in and it has taken quite a while to make it better. It's almost not noticeable now, but still there. For context, I've been in the apartment for about a month. Now, management is working with me super well on getting it remedied, but it is something to consider when signing- I would ask to see your exact apartment. Other things: I'm in one of the front buildings, so the road can be a little loud. My washer/dryer wasn't here for the first week b/c lake club rents them and they aren't in the apartments while they aren't being rented. The bathtub is creaky, but so is my neighbor's, so I think that's a second floor thing. Other than those things, which personally aren't a huge deal to me, my experience here has been wonderful. I truly feel like I lucked out by finding this complex. I know reviews helped me a ton when I was looking, so I hope the extra detail here helps you!

Love it here at Lake Club at Polaris! The staff is always super friendly and helpful. The amenities are awesome, 24hr gym and my pup loves the dog park! Felt like home from the very first visit.

The apartments are well maintained. The management is friendly, helpful and quickly responsive. They have a good working staff to fix the repairs and work orders. This place has many amenities such as leasing office, Community center, Patio with BBQ’s, coffee, dogs park, kids play area, fitness center and swimming pool. I like this place and can say that Lake Club at Polaris is one of the best apartments to live.

They are always nice to me and my kids, amazing customer service on another level!. My kids love the playground, and love to play the clubhouse games as well. I love that we now have access from 5am- 10pm in the clubhouse. I enjoy all of the resident events they throw each month!! I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!! Very affordable for the Polaris market. Kali Brad and Lindsey are outstanding!

Overall it is a good place to live. However, you can hear your neighbors below talking, pounding, and smell the smoke coming from their unit. Also, the current management at the office seem to always be on their phones when you walk into the office. Not work phones, but cell phones. One was even on a dating app as I saw on him on their while I was browsing from my unit. When you complain about something the new management staff at the property act like the care and say they will do something and they don't. I had to make a special trip to the corporate office just to speak to the district manager about problems going on at the complex.

Your leasing office has been wonderful. The few times I have had problems, the response was immediate. It gives me peace of mind. I purposely moved here as I am in Commercial Sales at the Lowes just down the street & constantly tell young coworkers how much I enjoy living here. The playground for kids, dog area, new club house & outdoor grilling area make this feel more like a community, than just an apartment complex. Parts of the community remind me of living in the country when I look out my windows. As hard as it is to live in an apartment after lifetime of owning houses, this is the next best thing. Brad and Kali are amazing! If you don't live here you are missing out!

After 8 years with Lake Club at Polaris, it's time to move. Since July we have complained about our neighbor's pot smoke coming into our apartment and how unbearable the smell is. After 5 months of being told they were doing something, they have finally stated that there is nothing they can do unless they were to get pictures of the pot in the neighbor's apartment. Since we are month to month we put our 60-day notice in but asked that we be able to do a 30-day notice instead. The response from the corporate office was no but they would offer us another unit with $1,500 off move in. This comes after we had already put deposits down elsewhere. We also had no desire to stay with Champion based on how they have handled our issues over the past few months. That unit would have also cost us over $100 more per month to move into. We are now being forced to stay in this marijuana saturated apartment because Champion is being petty over 1 month of rent.
