College View is three miles west of the University of Denver, across the Platte River. Named for its location, College View apartments are terrific for those working or attending classes at the university. Since it is also less than seven miles south of Downtown Denver, College View is ideal for commuters who want a home in a quieter atmosphere.
Residents in College View enjoy fantastic views of the Rockies and a variety of outdoor adventures. Head to Ruby Hill Park, adjacent to the neighborhood, to enjoy amazing views of the city skyline and terrific snowy, outdoor fun. Considered one of the best hills in Denver for snow sports, this park has terrain designed for skiers, snowboarders, and tubers. There’s also an impressive amphitheater here for live shows. Residents go bicycling and picnicking in Sanderson Gulch Park or Harvey Park to enjoy sports facilities, two large lakes, and a community center.
