Kentwood Village

This would be a great place to live if it weren't for the completely useless office staff and property manager. They do absolutely nothing to enforce the lease. People can break practically every rule destroying the peace in their neighbor's homes and all your cries for help will be ignored regardless of how much evidence you provide. Do yourself a favor and look somewhere else to rent.

Scheduled a “tour” and received a confirmation. Went to the apartment complex to be told there are no physical tours, only “virtual” tours. Also told there was no availability for any of the 1 bedroom and 2 bedrooms apartments for the foreseeable future. This listing should not be up as it’s not accurate.

Horrible during winter time . Floors are uneven , things are super outdated.

Maintenance is subpar & office staff is rude and won’t help you with any concerns . Overpriced in a place that offers ZERO amenities .

I’ve been living here for almost 2 years now and had family who lived here for some time now and this place has taken a major upgrade ever since Lauren became the property manager . It’s a pleasant place to live a bit expensive but it’s worth calling home ! Maintenance is great , the girls at the front desk are sweethearts ! & the neighbors are friendly :)

I have lived In Kentwood Village for a few years and have to stay it’s been the best experience and that is thanks to the excellent Property Management Team. They are there to answer any questions and concern. From maintenance to keeeping the area very kept clean I thank you and to Lauren who is the property manager I thank you for your professionalism and for taking care of every need in Kentwood Village.

I enjoy living within the complex. For the most part they are understanding and helpful. However, with that said, the lawn really should not be up to my knees. I feel like I can barely walk around outside. I already found 2 ticks on me. I called asking when they were coming to mow next and my answer was, "Oh I don't know when they come, maybe Saturday." That complex makes so much money, the grass should be cut weekly. The last time it was cut was over two weeks ago. They raised the rent but they can't have lawn service that comes weekly? Ridiculous.

I stopped in to get some information about possibly renting and was pleasantly surprised how well my questions were answered. Great experience which helped us make our decision much easier.

I went to view an apartment and Jackie was so welcoming and knowledgeable, answering every question we had.

We are moving into Kentwood soon, the staff is great. So sweet. Answered any questions we had and awesome to talk to

I called on Tuesday for seeing roaches and they said they had A LIST OF PEOPLE THE EXTERMINATOR HAD TO SEE, and i had to wait to see him until Friday. Friday came, the exterminator DID not. This morning I see a big roach. Call again and trying to get out of this lease. The don’t even take infestations seriously. It’s literally been ONE WEEK SINCE IVE CALLED and i have yet to see an exterminator. I have pictures as well. If i don’t get out the lease I’m taking them to the board of health.

I lived at Kentwood for the past year-and-a-half. Thank you too Kathy and all that work in the office for your assistance. I would especially like to thank Nelson and Tim two of the maintenance men who were very professional and assisted me anytime I asked I appreciate that very much. The pool was sparkling through the summer with awesome lifeguards and the grounds were kept very clean. I made some nice friends there that I hope will be in my life always. Good luck to all that live there and work there and thank you again. lastly, I wish nothing but the best for a sweet little girl named Julia that I had the opportunity to meet and watch grow.MaryM.

Management SUCKS! They won't help you with any problems you have. I could go on and on about this place, we've been here for 8 months and can't wait until our lease is up. The people that live here are all drug addict scumbags and the apartments are roach/ant/and termite infested. I'm not even going to waste my time writing all the terrible things about this place. Just don't move here. Management will not help you with anything.

One of the best aspects of living in Kentwood is the people who do the maintenance. Jimmy and Timmy are the supervisors and they are dedicated to ensuring that the apartments are in great condition. Their entire crew works tirelessly (even on weekends sometimes) to make sure that the residents have a nice place to live. Thank you guys for the continued great service! Jayme in 397

It's OK the apartments are reasonably priced pool is a little expensive and whatever you do get an UPSTAIRS APARTMENT. They say in the lease that you have to cover 70% of the floor with capert however they don't enforce this rule at all. We have complained 3 times to the office and they haven't done anything. Even our upstairs neighbors just walking around is really loud.

Everyone who works at Kentwood treats you with the upmost respect and are always helpful and friendly, the pool is well kept and the lifeguards do an awesome job keeping everyone safe. highly recommended!

I have lived at Kentwood for 8 years and love it. The apartments do not compare to any others in the area too.The office staff is friendly and professional. The maintaince staff goes beyond their jobs always. But, the pool is where it feels like a community that is so hard to find these days.Kentwood Village is my home sweet home

I have lived at Kentwood for a little over a year and it has been wonderful. The apartments are in great condition with wide open space. If there is ever a problem or heaven forbid I get locked out the maintenance staff is happy to help. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for an apartment!

Beautiful pool, with friendly lifeguards.. Very helpful people in the leasing office and a handy maintenance crew that does a great job!! I have a wonderful experience so far.

I've rented both a one and two bedroom apartment in Kentwood. The "playground" is small and the pool is too expensive. The apartments themselves are nice, but definitely too pricey for what they are. The maintenance team is great and definitely underrated. I feel like the rent is constantly going up. Also, when I moved in 4 years ago, there was a dog rent, weight limit AND breed restriction, which is why I had to give away my dog. Now there seems to be no rent, limit or restrictions because there are dogs and dog waste everywhere.

I have been in Kentwood for almost a year and when I went apartment shopping I saw everyone in Brick and Lakewood. As soon as we walked into the Kentwood leasing office and met Kathy and Lauren/Gisella and then saw the model apartment, I told my fiancé we were home. Then the team was great in making our move here as easy as possible and if and when we need something ( very rare maybe once or twice) from the work team the front office takes care of it right away and they are kind and professional unlike some of the other places I've lived. Well that's my two cents take it if you want but I have lived in 3 difference states because of work over the past 3 years so I kinda know a good place from a bad and this is great!

After viewing and talking to people we know who live there. We would not live there. They raise the rent $100.00 a month after the first year. There are too much drug use and drug dealers in the complex. And no snow removal services. What a mess. Rent too high and VERY tiny apartments.

Kentwood Village Apartments Ocean County Brick, NJ 08724 I have rented the one and two bedroom apartments here for the last 9 years. The apartments are spacious and clean. The layouts are very open and comfortable for families and bachelors alike. The new renovated units come with a very nice microwave mounted above the stove, a large refrigerator, a very nice dishwasher and stove. The bathrooms are roomy and there are no privacy issues at all. It is in an extremely convenient location with shopping in walking distance. The beaches and boarwalks are only minutes away, it is a perfect location for summer fun. The grounds are well maintained and look great all year long. The school district is good and the bus stops are very close. The pricing is one of the cheapest in the area, but you definitely get a great value, people pay much more for lesser apartments all over the county. Maintenance crews are fast and kind when there is an issue. The parking lot is well maintained and clean with plenty of parking for every unit to have 2 or more vehicles. Overall I have been very happy with my time here at Kentwood Village.

My husband and I have been living here for a little over a year and, we love it. Everyone is super nice and the office staff is always helpful. They keep everything looking clean And well kept. Snow doesn't stay on the roads long enough to stick and it's already plowed. Not to mention rent is very resonable. I would recommend Kentwood village in a heartbeat!
