I enjoy living in this two-bedroom apartment on the third floor! The space is bright, airy, and well-maintained, with plenty of natural light streaming through the windows. The layout is thoughtfully designed, offering both comfort and functionality. I especially enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and the lovely views from the third floor. The bedrooms are spacious and cozy, perfect for relaxing after a long day. Being on the third floor means extra privacy and no noise from upstairs! I've been living at Island view for a little over half a year now! It has been a fun experience for me and my wife, with minimal downfalls. Here are some pros and cons... Pros: 1. Great access to a beautiful river path. 2. Management is friendly and helpful. 3. When submitting maintenance tickets, staff responds promptly and needs are met quickly. 4. Apartment layout is inviting, master bedroom is spacious, and living room has good lighting. 5. Walls seem very thick, we rarely hear our neighbors. Cons: 1. Some tenants have very loud vehicles that can be heard early in the morning/late at night. 2. Garbage/recycle vehicles arrive between 3-5am and can produce a lot of noise. But all things considered, the pros heavily outweigh the cons and we love it here!

I had a great time living here. Management is fast and makes everything easy. Maintenance is very responsive and quick to fix things, sometimes same day. The place is quiet and the walls and floors are thick so any noise that does come through is muffled.

A very nice apartment complex to live. Units are roomy with cathedral ceilings, newer appliances, and well maintained facilities. There is a nice seasonal pool and year-round hot tub. Fitness room is well equipped and clean. Complex is non-smoking and rules are enforced. Landscaping is well-kept making for a nice park setting between the buildings. Staff are nice and quick to respond to complaints or maintenance needs.

I have been renting at Island View for a year now and am very happy here. For the size of the complex, I can't believe how quiet it is. The apartment is very nice and must have well-insulated walls because I never hear anyone talking unless it is coming from outside. I live on the ground level and the only noise I hear from upstairs is if someone drops something and when the toddler runs back and forth (which I love to hear -- the pitter-patter of little feet). The grounds are well maintained and management personnel are very caring and pleasant.

Island View is a very nice place to live, location a big plus, apartments include all that is needed for comfortable living and close to all places necessary that one needs i.e. medical, shopping, entertainment etc., only one thing that could be improved is appliance update!!

After a month, everything is going well. The application process was straightforward and the portal is user-friendly. Nick was very helpful in that process and I felt there was transparency. Therefore clear, concise information were provided for me to make an informed decision. The move-in process was easy and Stephanie made the process seamless. In the midst of the COVID pandemic, I understand certain and regular protocol had to be rearranged but everything worked out well. Despite a few necessary maintenance request a few days in, I appreciated the quick responses by Tristan and the maintenance team. Everything was overall resolved within a week and it has been going well here. The neighborhood is quiet and very close to the Columbia Park Trail, though there is construction for about 3-4 blocks on the road in front of the neighborhood for re-pavement.

I just moved in to Island View Apartments and already feel quite at-home. For an apartment complex, it is very quiet. The building must be well insulated because I hardy EVER hear the people over me . . . just an occasional thump. The grounds are very nice and the staff is very helpful and polite. The apartment itself is beautiful and modern. I already know I've made the right choice in moving here.

My experience with Island View Apartments thus far has been great. The staff are friendly and helpful in the application and move-in process. I feel like everything was transparent which made choosing Island View easier. The location is great; next to the river and near stores that I go to but out of the way enough to have some quiet. I have been here now since September and things started out a little uncertain. However, with the overwhelming responses and care given with all that in mind, I couldn't be more happy with our choice to live here at Island View Apartments - and so I highly recommend anyone to seek a home here if in need. I want to make this clear so no one else makes the same mistake. If you apply and pay the $40 application fee and are approved, you then have to pay an additional $200 WHETHER OR NOT you sign a lease or agree to actually rent the apartment. Make sure you know you want to live there before you apply because if you change your mind, even before you sign any lease or agreement, you're out $240 instead of just $40. I've lived in cities where the damand for an apartment is high, so you apply to several and hope one sticks. This "Admin fee" policy needs to be more clear. It needs to basically say that if you have good credit, your application fee is $240 but if you have worse credit, your application fee is $40. The time between when I was approved and when I told them I didn't want the apartment was a matter of hours, and they still will not refund me $200.

Dear applicant - we apologize for your misunderstanding during the application process at Island View Apartments. We work hard to make sure that our application process is simple and easy! We take our applicants seriously, if a prospect places their application in and is approved we take the apartment off the market and hold it for them until they're ready to move. In circumstance of cancellation, the application and admin fee is non-refundable because we have held the apartment for you to move in and lost potential renters during the holding period. We regret that Island View was not your first choice, sincerely - Island View Team.
I was very disappointed when it came time to move out of Island View. Because I work full-time and go to graduate school, I hired a cleaning service to come in and clean on a weekly basis during the 14 months I lived there. At the time of move-out, I paid them to clean on the last day of my lease. I was given a bill of $60 for a partial cleaning service for food particles in the bottom of the dish washer and grease on the side of the interior oven window. I have pictures of both - they are clean. I also had no pets and live alone. The apartment was left in excellent condition. The complex is also charging for paint for where my curtains were hung, I consider this to be normal usage of an apartment. I ended up paying a $1500 lease break when I found my house, so in the course of the 14 months I lived there, I paid over $16,000 and was still nickel and dimed at the time of move out. Very disappointing. I received my bill from Island View as well as a letter from collections in the same week, so they also sent me immediately into collections with no opportunity to discuss the ~$85 in charges I'm disputing. I have since sent two emails to the current property management company that owns them - I have had a response to neither thus far. This place does not care about doing business with you as a person, they care about doing business with your wallet. Give the money to someone else.

This apartment building is a wonderful place to live. It's minutes away from Kennewick and Richland, while being conveniently placed by the river, away from major traffic. It comes with great amenities including a pool, workout facility, tanning room, grilling area with patio, and common area for lounging. All of these areas seem recently renovated and are constantly maintained by the friendly staff. The apartment complex is right across the street from a little park, with a wonderful running/walking path that follows the river. The maintenance staff responds promptly and holds monthly apartment dinners for you to meet your neighbors. However, if picking an apartment I advise getting one away from the pool. Although it has marked hours, these are not really enforced, making for some loud pool parties starting at 10:00PM. Overall, this apartment complex creates a friendly and inviting atmosphere that keeps us releasing each year!
