The outdoor community is run down. Poorly maintained roads, destroyed landscaping and they don't bother to fix it. They make you pay extra for to maintain these things in the community, but nothing is being done.

So far it’s nice and quiet , no problems at all!Friendly neighbors and pets well controlled. Staff is very respectful and helpful with any problems you have , work orders are also very quick and solved within the same day ,

Love the staff of Ironwood. Everyone is nice and the neighborhood is quiet. My kids love being next to the playground. I also love the trail at the back of the complex for the walks we take. We are centrally located to just about everything and can on those amazing cool days to the store. Love the area is also close to GOG.

I love the community is so peaceful I realize it's a wonderful place to enjoy my grandchildren and my lovely family . A little over three months into my lease and I am thrilled with Ironwood. The office staff is courteous and extremely responsive. Most of the residents are mindful they live in a community and not on private land. Grounds are clean and buildings are well maintained. This place is unbeatable for location, affordability, and service.

There is so much wrong with this complex that it’s difficult to narrow it down. 1) My roommate and I were given less than a 48 hour notice for major maintenance being done. They told us to lock the dog in a bathroom all day while they replaced windows. He is a large dog and leaving him locked up all day is cruel. 2) The unit we received was nothing like the model we were shown. Trim was taped to the walls, laminate flooring was coming up, the unit was disgusting and obviously not cleaned properly (we had to clean when we moved in), carpet was old and stained, multiple obvious patches on every single wall, etc. 3) Management changed hands multiple times throughout our 15 month lease, getting worse each time. 4) Cars were getting broken into, and even STOLEN! 5) There was a literal dumpster fire! 6) Upper balconies are sagging and look like they will collapse at any moment. 7) Someone shot a firearm in the complex, nearly hitting our across the hall neighbor. 8) Non-optional $75 a month “valet trash” service. 9) Price continues to go up, despite minimal efforts to renovate the units. 10) Many addicts and homeless people always nearby. There is much more wrong with this place, but it would take a whole book to list it all. Please save your money, there are MUCH better complexes within this price range. The only positive is that it’s close to Palmer Park. But I would rather drive there from a safer neighborhood than continue to stay there. I, a young woman, did not feel safe in this “community.”
Staff is great, I love the dog park, the community is quiet and I feel safe. I like most of my neighbors. I also like that there are parks around and hiking trails so close by. Management office staff is very friendly and helpful.

My wife and I were moving across the country to Colorado Springs, and Ironwood at Palmer Park was one of the first places we saw. After communicating with Marcie and placing a deposit to hold a unit, all communication suddenly stopped. We emailed multiple times and never got a response. Once they received our money, it was as if we did not exist anymore. Very disappointing and unprofessional. Would not recommend going into business with Ironwood.

I have moved around ALOT and this was one of the most beautiful properties with hardly any traffic noise or neighbor noise. The grounds are green, well kept, lots of trees. The apartment was open concept with plenty of space for all my stuff and then some. The wood burning fireplace in the winter time was great and maintenance is friendly, though they could use another person on their team. The front office staff is wonderful and the property manger was on top of any issue I had, though i did not have many. I absolutely love living here and will be sad to leave when I move.

The apartments are huge and beautiful. It is so quiet and clean here. You wouldn’t even know people live here. Maintenance is ok they are a little slow to fix things but totally to be expected there are only two of them for a huge complex but if it is an emergency they are right on top of it. Definitely can say one of the best apartments you can live in. I will stay here and never live in another apartment until I can find a house to buy because there is no way you will find any as good as ironwood.

We lived here for a year and the experience was less than impressive to say the least. The office staff were ok at best, if you are lucky they will all give you the same answer about something rather than each have a different one. The maintenance staff was constantly changing during our lease there and maintenance calls regularly took 3 weeks. Deffinitly not worth the price.

Ironwood at Palmer Park is about the largest apartment complex for the price. My two bedroom, two bath apartment is approximately 1,065 sq. ft. with plenty of storage as well as a full sized washer and dryer within the unit. The apartment complex is also located to one of the cities larger parks with plenty of hiking trails and horseback riding.

I had to find an apartment quickly because a lease on a town home fell through. This apartment is spacious, the pool area is beautiful and the staff responds quickly. The only con is it doesn't have a garage. I am at a ground level which helps me because I have MS and receive SSDI so the free rent would help me immensely!
