Ironwood has been a great apartment for my wife and I! The people are very friendly, and the staff is quick and helpful! My stay has been a great time for apartment living and I would highly recommend it to anyone else looking for an apartment.

People here are always nice to us. It's not always perfect but they always seem to do what they can to remedy the situation so we decided to do a 2nd lease here.
Fabulous staff and the apartments are amazing. They have everything I wanted! The walk in closets in both bedrooms were a definite plus! The free gym and pool are also amazing!
I was really disappointed at the shape of the pool. Broken chairs piled in a corner, large rusty bolts sticking out of the cement due to the handicapped chair taken away and stacked in a corner, plus rough spots inside the pool. Still not keeping the garbage picked up around the complex. The rent keeps going up but the complex is really looking shabby. The children's slides are getting rusty and pieces broken off of some of the plastic parts. Weeds that jab your feet in the grass near the playground.
The staff does everything they can do to make sure that things are taken care of. However, there are no cameras on this property. No locks on the garage doors from the hallway.
So far the experience has been pretty good. I enjoy living here. The property bills itself as a luxury apartment but there isn't anything here, I would consider luxury. It's nice having a washer/dryer in the unit and the fireplace is a nice touch. But again, I wouldn't consider it luxury, just nice and there is nothing wrong with that.
So far everyone I’ve met has been nice and helpful. There’s been one person or so who’s maybe not the best but overall it’s good. I haven’t met too many people.
My only complaint is that our buildings are not secure. Even the oldest apartments in town have secured entrances. Our garages should also be secure...especially since we are charged monthly fee for them. Too much theft has happened recently and we should be able to feel a lot more safe than that!
Very nice office staff and maintenance. The apartments could definitely use some updates. The gym, pool and office are always top notch. The trash area is not the staff's fault it is the people that live here. They don't even open the dumpster door they just throw it down.
I love living at Ironwood. I love the staff they are very helpful and understanding. They help accommodate for any and everything! They make living here worth it!
I have no complaints! The staff is always so nice and efficient! The apartment last are cleaned weekly to keep the complex clean! The pool is always a nice place to relax after a long day of work!
We have almost 5 month and I don’t have nothing negative about these condos. Honestly the place are really soft, friendly and nice. All amenities that you need, they have. The best part it’s the pool and the grocery store near.
My experience so far is great, expectations are on point. I like the fact that my neighbors are peaceful and our floor is quiet. Yeah, I love it!!
We've been here for just over 2 months now and we absolutely love it! Lots of room to walk my dog with poop stations everywhere! The apartment is perfect for us and the neighbors are all very friendly. The staff is amazing! Very nice, quick to respond to requests and always very friendly. I love the shared garage option, much cheaper and affordable. I just wanted it because it's Iowa and hail is always a threat. Before I added the garage to my lease though, I was amazed at the ample parking. We never had to walk far to get to the car and the shared garages are at each end of the building, so we still don't have to walk far. So much to love about Ironwood and the staff!
Management is near impossible to work with. There is no compassion from them when bringing concerns to their attention. For three months I was told to deal with the issue I’ve been having. Im not trying to dog on them but it’s making living here very difficult.
Ironwood is a great place to live, apartments are very spacious every here are always so kind and lovely,it’s a wonderful community to be a part of.

I absolutely love ironwood. There’s so many different amenities and they do fun little activities at the community house, such as taco trucks.
The property is clean and well kept. The staff responds quickly and they are always courteous. The swimming pool is checked several times a day to keep it healthy and fun.
A great place to live. Quite building. Very nice neighborhood. Very nice neighbors as well. The best apartment in Altoona. I would recommend this community to anyone
Overall, I have had a GREAT experience at Ironwood Apts over the past 2 1/2 years! The office staff, and maintenance staff have been helpful, pleasant and very efficient. Can't really complain about anything! Thanks to you all!!
I would like to say it has been nice living here, everyone has been nice that I have encountered. The neighborhood has been quite. The staff has been helpful, and very quick if you need something done in your apartment.

I have been here for over 5 years. For the most part the neighborhood as well as the complex has been a great place to live. I feel very safe. They are very nice spacious apts. The maintenance team gets back to you in a very timely manner.
I’ve had 2 experiences so far needing maintenance. It’s been a great experience both times. Arriving in a timely manner and pleasant with it. Never having to wait even 24 hrs before getting great service! Thank u!
Ironwood has been a great place for my wife and I to start our new marriage. We had a lot of concerns with living in an apartment, some of which can’t be avoided, but Ironwood has done a great job making our apartment feel like home. The property is beautiful, maintained well, and stuffed full of amenities for its residents. I’ve loved my time here.
We have enjoyed living here for 6 years. For apartment life it is generally quiet in our building. Many in our building have lived here for a while and we look out for each other. Maintenance is responsive. Sometimes we have food trucks. There is a monthly, Thank You Thursday, when you can stop in the office for a special treat. And fun contests to participate in.

I recently move to ironwood apartments and I'm loving every bit of it. The apartments are large and spacious for the comfort of you and your loved ones. Overall a great place to live, the office staff is friendly and super helpful. They answer any and all questions and/or concerns you may have in a timely and respectful manner. However, the person who runs the emergency maintenance line after hours, will deem almost everything as "not an emergency" to get out of doing work on weekends.
Maintenance is fast and efficient. Neighbors are great. The property also makes sure the ice melt is out and the parking lot is plowed when there is winter weather.
Everyone was supper friendly and helpful as we toured, completed the application and started the move in process. So far, we are very happy that we chose Ironwood as our new home!

For an apartment complex the Ironwood team seem to try to do their best to accommodate the tenants. You need to remember it is am apartment though.
So far great. However I do see a need for more handicap parking. Our spots are always full. I seen a lady struggling to get to door the other day. I appreciate that you ask us for opinions. Staff is great and friendly.
So far so good. The level of customer service from the leasing office was superb. And they also provide a great deal os support. The state of the appartment was also in a very good condition. So far everything is thumps up. However, it took me a long time to figure where the wifi router is.
So far my experience is good, I feel welcome by the staffs and the service is top notch. I am actually feeling at home right now, and I am grateful for that.
Love living here. The walls are thin just like any other apartment but you will have luxury and space to more around. The amenities are good as well.

This is a very nice complex. The staff are personable and easy to work with. There is a very nice park right next door with a new pickle ball court. It's very quiet. I have never had issues with the Internet that is included in your rent.
We love living at Ironwood & have lived here for over six years. The Office Staff & Maintenance are so friendly & helpful. Any problems are fixed in a timely manner & we appreciate that so much. We would recommend Ironwood to any of our family & friends.

It's a good place to live, some small things here and there, but overall good. I've been here for almost 3 years and no regrets! Noise can be a small issue but not too much. The price has increased every year and based on the website the single bedroom apartment is not a great deal anymore compared to the 2 bed apartment, but that is the only hangup I can think of.
Friendly leasing agent. Clean facilities, maintenance staff is great when you have something needing fixed. Parking is spacious. Building is kept clean.
