My wife and I lived here for almost two years and the management only got worse while we were there. They are supposed to provide pest control services, but there’s no enforcement of making sure they hit every single apartment. We missed one round of pest control and ants immediately began infesting our apartments, making us very aware of the lack of proper seals to the outside. When we informed them we never received the pest control, they straight up lied to us about saying they did, but since I work from home, I would have been there the whole time they were. They also began installing assigned covered parking spaces all around the complex, making every attempt to find parking for those of us that didn’t want to pay an additional $50/month very hard, They also didn’t inform tenants of the correct day the paid parking would go into effect, so there were mass towings across the complex, and the landlords never compensated us for an issue they caused. In conclusion, don’t live here. It’s too expensive for how terrible it is and the property is extremely disrespectful to tenants.

The Indigo is a great place to live for me. The staff is always ready to help and be of service. The indigo is always hosting events to bring the community Together. Maintenance staff requests are always answered right away. The insides have nice, updated look. The security patrol is also a plus the pool is great during the summer and the distance to local venues and Restaurants are close. I recommend you check them out if you're looking to move to the area.

Hello, I am currently a resident at Indigo Apartment Homes. The place here is absolutely stunning. The staff here are kind, amazing, and sweet, and they CARE about the residents. There are several times I can recall that when I was stressed when I was in a bad time or a dark age, they were encouraging. They helped lift me up. I don't know where I would be without their help. This place is always amazing. I can go outside, look out my balcony, and see the city lights from where I stand. Granted, you would have to have the right apartment, but yes. Also, privacy; I feel secure in my room. I feel like everything is awesome. If you ever feel like you need a place to live, I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND Indigo Apartment Homes. This is the best residence I've had in 10 years. Come over, apply, and tell them Authur sent you!

I have not stayed in an apartment in years and was very nervous about moving into one. But once I met Danny at Indigo he made me feel really comfortable about getting an apartment. So comfortable that I actually got the apartment and it’s so nice and comfortable. The tenants are really nice and respectful. So because of Danny the nice gentleman with the greatest personality made me feel so welcomed. And I would advise you to come and get a place here as well it’s like a huge family.

Good place to live but when you move out they are very petty with their excuses to keep your deposit. I left a plastic ice tray in the clean kitchen and they charged me $130 for “clean up” and “maintenance”. Seriously????

I only lived at Indigo for a year and it was nice, reasonable prices for what you get. Always responded to maintenance request in a timely manner. The only thing I had trouble with was getting in touch with the office on the phone. Even after calling and leaving a voicemail the AM, they would never call back the same day. So they could definitely do better with communication.

they had a open house of the ones that they updated. Overpriced and even if the place looks good inside they moved to using tiny stackable washer/dryer then whole size, moving the waterheater to the closet and making it ugly by taking up most of the closet that the full size washer/dryer used to be

Hello, unfortunately we do not have a resident by this name and it doesn't appear that you took a tour of our renovated units as the one bedroom you are speaking of has two separate closets. One "closet" is the home for the water heater and the second walk in closet which is also located in the bedroom is home for your clothing and anything else you would like to store in the closet. We would love for you to come and take a tour of our renovated apartments so that you can see that they reasonably priced with our competitors that offer the same quality of our renovated apartment homes.
i have lived here 8 months and i can’t wait to be out. my disposal has been broken since THANKSGIVING, Valentine’s day just passed. my disposal was leaking water to my downstairs neighbor and they came and put a bucket to catch the water and said they’d be back monday. well, 3 months and countless work orders later that bucket is FULL of MOLD. i haven’t even stayed in my apartment the last month the bucket has made the place smell so awful. i have a right mind to call the health inspector and condemn the whole building. get me OUT
The Horrible Pisinas will not be all and they charge you for the gym ... The key you use to open They are really charging you Better I sign up for a Professional Gym ... Before they were better now they are terrible
I came into this place with high hopes. A new fresh start, a positive future...but the day I moved in, was the beginning of my nightmare. These apartmarts are not move in ready. The buildings overrun with roaches and mice. Cabinets and doors fallling apart. If you want anything done, you pretty much have to do it yourself. This place is a definite health hazard to anyone who has health problems or to anyone really. My mailbox was constantly broken into daily and it took 2 months for them to finally fix it. My car has been wrecked by people not watching where they have been going, or not looking backing out. This place is a nightmare, take my advise and find a better place. These apartments need to be condemned....As soon as my lease is up, I'm running far, far away from here :-(
They don't perform any kind of preventative maintenance, so everything is constantly failing. The A/C barely works half the time, and the other half it is broken and we are waiting weeks for it to get fixed (this has happened so many times it is unreal). Save yourself the trouble and stay FAR FAR away.
They do not have security anymore they let trash move in so now its unsafe for you and your property the new owners are cheap and cut cost at every corner
Overall living at The Highlands has been a great experience. I lived in a 2 bed 1 bath then moved to a 2 bed 2 bath and both apartments were wonderful. For apartment living it has been a great experience. The layout of the apartments are great especially the 2 bed 2 bath. Lot's of closets and the patio was great! Leases were put there to protect both parties. I recommend this place, the new management people and maintenance are great, little bit slow sometimes, but get done with your work order.
I have lived here for about 6 months now and it is seriously the best place I have ever lived. Vanesa is seriously one of the sweetest ladies and cares very much for her tenants. I would highly recommend any of her properties!
They are roach infested.please do NOT move here. I am embarrassed to even have company over because of the bugs. I am a really clean person and have never had tgis problem. Do NOT let them fool you. Once you sign that lease you are nobody to them. The staff and maintenance are rude and disrespectful. The pools are filthy and the "gym" is a joke. I regret having ever moved into these apartments. ??

They say that they have 6 pools, that they do but only a few are operational and the two indoor pools will never be opened again. Controlled Access; the gates don’t work and are always open, there is no controlled access. Gated yes, but like I said above they don’t work so are useless. Smoke free, someone need to tell the residents this the place is covered with cigarette. Dishwasher; yes they are in the units, but ours has not worked for 7 months and still not repaired. Mail; there are no outgoing mail slot in the mail room. This is makes you have to drive to the post office to send out anything. You can’t order a pizza they won’t deliver it here, all pizza places in the area have band delivery to this location.
They get new office and maintenance staff every few weeks.I'm still waiting on maintenance to make repairs found on my initial walk-through. That was 1 1/2 years ago. The only good thing is the rent is cheap.
Can't get maintenance to fix the damage done by water leaks from the apartment above us, it has been over a year for some of it, the last time I talked to them, they came into the apartment and made a list of all the damage and promised that they would get it taken care of quickly,stating that "the NEW maintenance manager will get right on it", but two months later I'm still living with water damaged walls, floors and ceilings. In the two months since I last spoke to them, they have gone into both the apartments on the upper level of my building and worked on them to make them livable and re rented them, but mine is still a mess :(
Love my apartments. All though maintenance can be a little slow. But hey, isnt almost every apartments like that.
I love the Highland apartments they have made a big improvement wouldn't wan to rent anywhere else they take pride in their property and that speaks volumes.
The only complaint that I have is that maintenance is slow.
Lived here since 2010. No one bothers me, neighbors keep to themselves. Maintenance is quick in responding to requests.
First and foremost, you need to worry about your safety in this complex. There have been multiple shooting and break in's during my 1 year stay here. The maintenance is a joke! I waited 8 months to get a working dishwasher. I have battles with roaches becuase my neightbors are fulthy creatures and the management refuses to evict them. The maintenance crew has no training and some are socially awkward enough to give you the "creepy" feeling when they are in your apartment. At night it seems like you are at the club. With all the loud music and beer bottles being thrown around. And don't think about calling security, they will tell them what apartment called a noise complaint. I highly recommend home security if you have ANYTHING of value. I will be leaving ASAP.
I have lived in these apartments for seven years and this place has really gone down hill. It has gotten so bad that the pizza guys don't want to deliver over here anymore. Management has gotten very poor, I don't believe that they are doing background checks like they should and I really need to find a safe environment for me and my children. I would not recommend these apartments to anyone.
Over all the apartment is fine and the rent is reasonable. That being said the service is absolutely horrible. When you first sign your lease they are pleasant but as soon as you've signed they can't be bothered with you. So as long as you don't have a maintenance issue or don't get stuck with a set of bad neighbors you should be fine.
We have lived here approx 2 1/2 years now. What started as a great place to live has unfortunately become a gang-infested, pest-infested, nightmare. Most of the amenities that drew us here have become a thing of distant past...including gate-controlled entry, indoor pools, bith hot tubs, monthly pest-control, fitness room (still here but most machines not functional), tanning beds ( again, still here but most non or barely funtional), and business room ( also still here but not functional at an appropriate level). This complex has undrrgone constant management and personnel changes. The current manager is also responsible for a very another very large complex. The leading staff, and signage seen when entering complex, still advertise all of the above, non-working amenities so please donot be fooled. The gates, indoor pools, hot tubs have not worked in more than a year and will not be repaired, accordingbto inside sources on staff. Pest control is a thing of the past. I personally have spent hundreds of dollars combatting roaches to no avail. Since the surrounding units are not being treated, nothing I do seems to even DENT the roach (and spider) infestation we have fought for many months now. One of my biggest concerns is the huge increase in gang-related activity over the last 6-9 months. Due to low occupancy rates, leasinv staff go to grsat lengths to approve applicants who do not qualify to livd here. I have personally heard agents instruct potential tenants how to get around move-in requirements, by having friends or family falsely verify prior tenancy and/or employment information. As a result, the quality of tenants has gone down considerably with ANY and EVERY one being allowed in. We have had multiple break-ins, shootings, fights (constantly!) and gangs freely walk around, repping their 'sets', bullying and intimidating current residents and/or visitors with no help from management to stem this problem. The only positive I can find here at this time are the long-term residents who TRY to keep the grounds clean, look out for one another and try to remain hopeful that things will turn back around. Unfortunately, for my family's safety, we have decided it is lonv past time to exit as our hopefulness died some time ago. We are tired of the roaches, unanswered maintenance requests, non-working amenities and feeling unsafe. If you are currently looking at The Highlands, I urge you to spend some time talking to current residents. Then RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!
