Gastonia is a small city just west of Charlotte on Interstate 85. The Standard district surrounding Main Avenue cultivates an atmosphere of classic Americana, with historic buildings housing locally-owned storefront shops, restaurants, and art galleries. Most of the city is residential, consisting of quiet streets, attractive homes, and tree-shaded sidewalks.
For weekend adventures, the beautiful forests and dramatic cliffs of Crowders Mountain State Park are perfect for hiking and camping. I’m Paying $30 a month for trash where other apartments are paying $5. The quality has gone down as well as the amenities. When I moved in there was a car wash and a gym. Now I have to pay $50 at lease renewal for a broken down gym and there’s no car wash. I’m moving

The apartment and area itself are great but towing away operable vehicles of paying residents is ridiculous. I have never in my life seen a complex tow cars for out of date tags. People are struggling to make rent and tacking on towing fees is uncalled for.

Been here since 2020. The females (laura & johana) in the office, lie about everything. The luxury pools water pump is always “broken”. These apartments haven’t been anywhere near luxury since I viewed them, just a place to lay your head honestly. Also trash is apparently prorated instead of a set fee, trash was $10 or less when I moved in here, now it’s between $20- $35 each month because it depends on the amount of trash in the apartment complex.. I take out one trash bag a week…… Apartments are small 725 sq feet for 1 bedrooms (don’t let them fool you) and have 30-50 different spiders within a month or two that get into your apartment, somehow (Poor insulation and cracks in doors/windows). Save the time, money and energy.

Clean, easy, and amazing location! Love being able to go onto the greenway from here! Its so easy to just walk whenever I desire - its also located right near two different grocery stores and a cvs so I often walk over there too

3 stars is the average, it’s been one and when I first moved in it was 5, til 2 months in the first property manager quit and went to a different company . Too many lies and things brushed under the rug here these days.

We have been very dissapointed with out experience at Icon on the Greenway. We have only lived here for a few months but have already had our car window smashed and we constantly have to listen to our neighbors yelling in the parking lot in the middle of the night. The apartment is very dirty and the carpets seem like they have not been replaced in years. I have tried to contact the office about this but have not been successful. We also have only 1 dumpster for the community and it is always overflowing. I am very ready for our lease to be over so we can get out of here.

For the most part we have enjoyed our time here at Icon on the Greenway. Unfortunately about apartment is very dark with very few windows and the paint color is dark as well. It’s a lot more gloomy than we would like.

Process was easy. Little expensive could of done better showing community common areas such as pool gym walking trail. Trash area should be cleaner but people are lazy and nasty.

For the price, could look better. Lots of outside work that could be done. Stairs are super old, creaky and loud. They do their best to accommodate you though. Maintenance man is super awesome. I think his name is Mr Charles.

Everyone is the office is super nice and helpful. However the apartment I moved into wasn’t clean upon us moving in. It actually was filthy. Also it was half painted. They painted around things that should have been pulled out. You can still see old paint though the new paint. It’s paint specks all over Like they didn’t have professional painters and they didn’t use painters tape so it wouldn’t get on sit it wasn’t suppose to be on. A few things needed maintenance, but they were promp to come fix it. Nobody cleans the outside community. It’s always trash outsideIn the bushes or breezeway. In the End….. these apartments aren’t worth what they are charging seeing they they are cutting corners on everything.
