Over priced for everything. Not safe. I came from a gated community back in Aventura and never got my package stolen first month here I ordered and got my packages stolen in 20 minutes of it arriving. And recently I got my package not even 1 minute I saw a lady trying to steal it. Another thing, they have been trying to “remodel” and “fix” the out side look to catfish desperate people who need a home in Miami. Until they get rid a lot of their tenants and actually upgrade the amenities and technology inside their apartments rather than trying to repaint and remodel the outside of the apartments. Do not try to get this place unless you really desperate for a “budget” last resort apartment to call home. BUG INFESTED, OUT DATTED, SHADY NEIGHBORS WHO LIKES TO STEAL AND HARASS U. (Many crimes happen within this area too)

We went to look at this place because of the price & the picture on the website . Let me tell you this place is really rundown. Built 1982 , new renovations have no W/D & we got to see where the machine are & where , you share 3-4 machines with the entire floor. As soon as we walked in the first room in the closet was a big roach. 10/10 this is a -1

The cockroaches or insane no matter what you do. The employees in the office always have a very bad attitude (only nice to you in the process of renting) the have no care for the units so if anything happens good luck. The smell of marijuana in the halls is crazy, packages get stolen from your front door, dog with no leash running around (pit bulls), ducks that poop all over the hallways, the elevator almost NEVER works. Stay away be smart.

Older property is infested with cockroaches. Garbage is frequently strewn around the walkways and parking lot. Elevator in my building was out of service on a monthly basis. Rental prices are very high. AC can’t keep the apartment cool on the 4th floor in the summertime, went a few weeks with 82 degree temperatures last summer. The walkways reek of pot. Maintenance and management are responsive, however they can’t change many of these problems. Overall, a dismal place to live for the last 18 months.

This property should never be considered an option to live. They are inconsiderate of the residents that reside in the property. Board members are favored by the management team. On going issues like elevator shut down and out of service multiple times a year. A/c cooling tower just this weekend has been left off with no notice or communication as to when it'll be back on. Today makes 4 days the entire building has been left without a/c. Roach infestation. The building itself is not maintained at all.

The complex is too over priced. The upgrades are done only for new move in and they taxing like crazy for them. They won’t upgrade nothing for residents who already live there that renewed their least. The roaches are there you have to keep the units at a certain temperature cause if you don’t the floor will sweat and peel up. They are giving refurbished appliances to residents just nasty and they laundry room is trash

No rats. Big roaches. Washing machines is like playing paceman trying to find one that’s working. Pool is cleaned very often. Gate always broken. No security. If gate is fixed they put the code on the box for everyone to see. Car break ins randomly. They even broke into a police patrol car so that tells you all you need to know.

This apartment is a lot. It has so much potential but if you’re used to living a certain way your going to have to lower your standards here. Kitchen and bathrooms are super dated. The floors are nice but honestly the roaches are a very big deal here. In my opinion the building doesn’t try hard enough to get rid of them. It’s to the point where I’ve seen roaches crawling into peoples cars in the parking lot. The roaches are insane and very embarrassing. You spend more money trying to self exterminate because whoever the guy is that comes in and sprays literally is done in 10 seconds. If they fixed the roaches I would’ve given 3 stars. The laundry room? Terrible. The 4th floor is the only laundry room that doesn’t have issues in my opinion, but I hope you’re a walker because just like McDonald’s ice cream machine THE ELEVATOR IS ALWAYS BROKEN. This property is literally too expensive for all these issues. So yea… that’s my honest review.

My stay in this condominium was excellent, very quiet, comfortable, spacious, beautiful social areas, with a great view, and everything was always in order. his kindness and having made my stay so placid and because of his efficiency it really was almost like family. Thanks a lot.

My experience as a resident at Horizon North has been really great, I love the fact that I’m close to everything from great restaurants to places where I can go and have a good time. I feel really safe in the neighborhood as well. I believe anyone would enjoy residing here whether you’re alone or starting a family, Horizon North is truly home.

I’m very delighted with the staff. They are very friendly and outgoing. This place is a very nice place to live. The facilities are clean and in great condition.

This Community is nice. big size units. Not too many amenities but the great view of the lake from the pool, it is breath taking. the staff is sometimes very busy but they manage to help you every time with a smile on your face. I can't imagine people talking bad about the place they live. maybe is because they were bad on their ways to do their things.

I have been living in the complex with my mother in a 2/2 for the past 4 weeks and so fare so good. we are loving the apartment! The complex is located in a great area surrounded by everything. The only request is that the stairwells need to be sanitized nd cleaned more. Patiently waiting for the gym to open back up after this pandemic.

Where do I start? I am not one to go online to write reviews. However, I will make an exception for this company. If you're thinking of moving into this place, you need to know what you're getting. The place is infested with roaches. We asked them plenty of time to come spray it. The guy comes, he sprayed (I don't even call it spray) with a bottle for like 5 seconds under the kitchen sink and he's gone. It seems like what he did increased the roach problem. And we are paying for pest control. The laundry areas don't work properly. Some machines work and some don't even dry your clothes. So it's like you're giving away money but they are not providing you with good service. We are paying for our water bill but since we moved in, it's been increasing every month. These people are not honest. It's not the onsite manager or the maintenance guys. They are wonderful people, always ready to help. But the owners of this building are cheap, they're cutting corners, taking your money and not providing proper service. So think twice before thinking of moving in to this place.

Completely delighted with the staff and facilities! They are all friendly and attentive to our needs, the facilities are very nice in good condition and clean! Nice to live here ..!

From the friendly staff to the amazing and efficient way of handling everything is an A+.very fast response on any issues with the apartment. I just moved in and I’m Loving it. Convenient spot to live. Across from strip mall. Not far from I-95. But living in a place that I know the office is always willing to do the job right and fast is the right way to go.

Management is doing their best to handle the volume of issue with an aging property. Overall the stay here is very good considering its location. Great bunch of service guys willing to satisfy service calls and emergencies. Great job with the recent parking lot (new) paint. Staff is great, but seems to need more staff members to keep up with the size of the property. The negative: Keeping up with the garbage that's not being disposed of correctly by non-caring tenants isn't easy for the (few) cleaning staff. Would like see trash areas pressure cleaned monthly to reduce issues.

The time I spent with my family at the community was awesome, it's a friendly community with a great pool and gym, pictures matched with the reality and everything was clean and neat, definitely a good option.

These apartments are terrible, pictures don’t match the apartment and a lot of neighbors complain about ROACHES FULL OF THEM, and other problems that management done nothing. They jack the prices up and please don’t let these people lie to you

The apartment community is very quiet and the neighbors are friendly. My first day moving in many residents that I ran into in the elevator said “welcome to the community”. The staff is always friendly and willing to help!

I rented a 2 bedroom unit here for a period of a year and it was by far, the most unpleasant rental stay I've had IN MY LIFE. Urine and cannabis smell everywhere as mentioned before. Not to mention, high volume of car invasions. Oh and they'll tow your car even when you're parked AT YOUR OWN PARKING SPOT!!!! ( I believe the association and the towing company have some sort of messed up deal where tenants get screwed and towed at the property) I showed the towing company my lease and even then, I got ripped off with a unrefundable payement of $170 ( this was at 6 am, just how I want to spend my mornings when I have to be at work at that time) I made a complaint with the office and they did NOTHING as expected. Maintainable work? Forget it. I complained about a sink leak 3 times until they came, took a look at it, ducted taped it and called it a fix. It kept leaking until the day I moved. The electrical wires in the unit were faulty and cause my electricity bill to come out $250/month on a two bedroom where only me and my fiancé lived. Another thing, the elevators never work so if you plan on moving here make sure you have strong arms, you'll need it when you either go grocery shopping and you need to take several STAIR trips. Also throughout my stay, there was this one time where I forgot my phone in the car and upon realizing it, I went back to the parking lot to find a man making his way out of MY CAR WITH MY PHONE IN HIS HAND. My boyfriend had to get into a physical altercation with him once he refused to give me MY PHONE Back and the best part is that the security who was 5 yards away DID NOTHING and just stood there. I made a complaint about the incident to the office and again, NO REPRECAUSIONS WERE TAKEN. Finally, you'd think after all the shady things that took place during my stay that they'd have the decency to give me my full refund back since the apartment was delivered in better conditions than i was received with.... THEY KEPT NEARLY $3500 worth of deposit because they claim I gave notice of moving out 2 days late than the "notice due date" . You'd think the amount of complaints I placed during my stay after being robbed, screwed and having my car towed at my own PARKING SPOT would send the clear message but no, they needed a "written notice". Please save yourself the headache and STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. There is a lot of nice little town houses nearby.

The management team is unprofessional and unreasonably unaccommodating. This place is a dump! It smells of GARBAGE constantly but when you are touring the garbage scent is masked with air fresheners. The security gate? DONT LET IT FOOL YOU, my mother’s car was stolen RIGHT out of the parking lot our 1st week here. Management DUJUAN did not not even offer sentiments they DON'T even have cameras up. Now for the kicker GET A COPY OF ALL OF YOUR LEASING PAPERS AS YOU SIGN THEM! I had to fight for copies of my lease after requesting them from DUJAUN 3 weeks after I moved in, in FEBRUARY I did not get them until August when I learned I could not break this lease. I stayed out the lease & because I KNOW I agreed to pay 1st, last & security I thought it was cheaper to stay then leave. WRONG I should have paid the $2,600.00 & booked it when I could so imagine my surprise when the next FEBRUARY what was to be the last month of my rent I received notice that I was late on my rent---I went to the office & DUJUAN cackled it up that I still owed February, I just had a baby & was on Maternity leave so naturally, I could have paid it had I been working but I hadn't worked since the end of November, in my planning I knew I paid FIRST MONTH, LAST MONTH, and SECURITY! When I reviewed my lease the FIRST LAST & SECURITY was marked as FIRST and a DOUBLE SECURITY deposit... all fine & well with me! I began to move out & was out of the unit by MID February, I gave my keys into the office. They had a $2,500.00 security deposit I wasn't expecting it back, but I provided my PO box for contact & my cell phone number as well as my email address. Imagine to my SURPRISE when I moved to Palm Beach & was told I had a BALANCE OWED to HORIZON NORTH APARTMENTS.... I swept EVERY INCH of that CARPETED apartment...but still this place HAD THEE unmitigated Gaul to place me in collections for $2000.00 more when they ate $2500.00 of my money!? I think I'm going to take them to court because I have had it with not being able to move as I would like I had EXCELLENT renters history before this place LESSON LEARNED by the way if you DECIDE to live here a trick to the lease take the "TAKE ME TO COURT" option not the "Double the lease' buy out option---if they take you to court you stand a better chance especially if you were in the right like me!

I like where i live but ist too expensive evry year they adds almost 60 dollars for two bath two bedroom we want live but ist very difficult for us to find another place cause we don't have credit for now we have to move by the end of november if not we have to stay here and the lease its to expensive for us and we are 6 people who live in this house only two people who work my 4 years girl sleep with me and my my husband sometime sleep with us or sleep on the flore and my husband hes the one who pay all the bills so if i win i will more gratefull cause that would save me some money for my daugther that she could go to collage.

I love the size of my apartment. All the rooms are big. Management is very nice and responds quickly to any issues. The only reason I did not give it a five is there are no washer/ dryer son the inside of the apartment. The wash room in the building is not always working.
