The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Hoosier Woods
Management seems nice but they’re actually horrible, I was told that they didn’t have a rodent nor pest problem and literally with the first week of me being there I had roaches and they refused to move me to a new unit.

We pride ourselves on providing 5-star service and apologize if you don't feel this was met. We offer complementary pest control services and would be happy to have them take a look to maintain a pest free community. Please reach out to us at the leasing office so we can get this scheduled!
they don't have walk in closets and they are run down and they don't care
The people who manage their property care nothing about their tenants. They drag their feet on any issues that you may have. I’ve had electrical issues causing my electric bill to be over $500 some months. I disputed it with the utility company who changed the meter and the issue has continued. When I asked management to investigate inside the apartment to rule out issues in the wiring they refused to get me an electrician. They make agreements that they do not keep. The pool might be up/clean/running for a month total. The place had bed bugs when I moved in and I’m getting stuck with the bill. These people are literally the worst I’ve ever had to deal with. Do not move here. I’m wishing I never had.
Upon arrival to this "esteemed" apartment complex we were met with smiles and what seemed to be bend-over-backward helpfulness, only to have an overwhelmingly huge amount of incompitence smack us in the face. We had inquired about a downstairs apartment and were told that they didnt have one but did, in fact, have one upstairs that would be ready for us on monday. After spending the previous weekend packing and gathering all the money required for the place we were met with the obstruction that the place was, in fact, not ready and needed to have a make over and wouldnt be ready until the upcoming Friday. After spending time talking to them about it we had come to the agreement of them cleaning the floors and repainting and that the apartment would be done by 5 on the promised Monday. 5 rolls around and after they knew we were finishing gathering everything and had the U-haul enroute to sign for the lease they told us that there was no apartment available whatsoever and that the one that they were trying to rent out was, in fact, tied to the state and that they weren't able to release it. This is a fine example of terrible communication or lack thereof and they should be greatly ashamed of themselves for not properly checking their records let alone communicating a promise of housing that they obviously could not come through on whatsoever leaving us still scrambeling to find a place to call home.
At first they are extremely nice and go out of their way to be helpful in any manner. Fast forward to after being here for a few months and discovering all the problems that the apartment has and they get annoyed with you. Hang up the phone on you. Never NEVER return messages and dodge you like a bullet when you need things taken care of. Their maintenance manager is incredibly rude and impersonable. Do yourself a favor and NEVER decide to bring your family here. The living conditions seem nice until you're halfway through your lease and stuck.
Hoosier woods apartments are worth the money you pay for the great amenities, the neighborhood, end the Pride you get when the staff tells you when you sign the lease "Welcome Home." I am starting my life over, closing a chapter in opening a new one but starting from scratch. Like all challenges it was difficult but the staff was very understanding and help guide me through the process and made me realize that this place has everything I need to not only start over again but to thrive. Even though I'm in a one bedroom apartment, they have so many other great apartments here along with having great community events, like pizza night on Wednesdays from Domino's Pizza. the names of the streets in the community, which are very well lit at night, make you feel at ease and proud to live there. Hoosier Woods was very affordable for me to move into and even planned out my move in time so it would fit conveniently into my work schedule, which is very important to me. They even informed me of the former renter having a dog, realized my pet allergy, and removed all of the carpeting in my new apartment prior to moving in to allow me to be the first person in the apartment with brand new carpeting. That meant alot to me. It showed they listened. They are very responsive when it comes to the occasional maintenance issues. The neighbors are not only friendly, but they keep to themselves, however they are there to help you move in as I found out. Just good people in a good neighborhood. At this time, I have no complaints.
I looked apartment in was similar to what me my is going to move it was nice and clean and lady that took my application and show me the apartment was very nice and friendly I felt very welcome to moving in their #great apartment complex lots of entertaining stuff for the too ?? satisfied !!!!!??????????

I went to Hoosier Woods to find information about moving there next January. The lady that helped me was very nice and answered all of my questions. The place is really pretty and the apartment I looked at was clean and bigger than I thought. I hope to move here when the time comes!
