And I agree, I don't think you could ask for a better location than 7th St. in downtown Fort Worth
Going on 3 years strong love it here I stay out the way but I will give some advice to new tenants do your best to keep your apartment in good shape because you don’t want to have to open your doors to someone who might be having a bad day or a secret issue with you. Home is where the heart is.

Historic Electric Building does have its issues with the elevators hot water shut off and some low cooking skilled residents which will cause the fire department to come out and investigate but other than that I really enjoy living here I have to admit that I still haven't gotten used to walking outside and seeing so many people everywhere coming from every single direction I guess that comes with Downtown Living.

The Historic Electric Building is in an excellent location in downtown Fort Worth. There are a plethora of amenities within walking distance. I rarely hear my neighbors due to the inner wall sound-proofing. The maintenance team is challenged by the age of the building. Also, the high-turnover of personnel has produced some challenges that require attention. Hopefully these challenges will be addressed and improved over time.

The Historic Electric Building apartments centrally located in downtown Fort Worth and I appreciate the lifestyle, convenience, and access to local venues. I like the underground parking especially during inclimate weather. But living here does come with its challenges. There has been a high turnover of personnel in the management company that causes inconsistency in policy and expectations. I am hopeful that conditions will improve over time with less interruptions.

It’s a nice place to live but it has some wild residents. If not for that and the hiccups of it being a old building. It’s close to many venues transportation train bus Uber cab. Very scenic the view is awesome. Leasing Staff is awesome.

I have enjoyed my past few years moving to the HEB for the past 5 years. The location, layouts, utilities combined so I don’t have to go searching for private companies for energy or water, etc. it’s an amazing living situation.

Historic electric building may have had some rough patches in the past due to management issues but this alone shouldn’t detour any future tenants from renting here. Although no apartment community is perfect the new management sure works on things that need to be done in a timely fashion. Based off my stay I believe that the management at HEB cares about their tenants and what they may experience while living here. They show this by communicating with tenants about certain issues such as hot water water and elevator failures.

Over the past several months the hot water has not been functioning. There are four elevators, but only one works. Sometimes all four elevators stop working and people have to take the stairs. And this is an 18-story building.

I always tried to be positive about living downtown but this building is in disrepair and getting worse. I have not had air conditioning since October 2021. I have lived 5 years with one wall that is painted in two different colors. My front door is not safe, it does not close properly on its own, I have to shove it closed. The ventilation system often smells of cigarette smoke or other smokeable materials.

I have now lived at the HEB for more than ten years. While no living experience is perfect, this is as close as I have gotten in my adult life. Downtown Fort Worth continues to improve and I continue to enjoy my time as part of it. The experience every year has been wonderful. The leasing staff and maintenance workers always are there if needed. I always tell people how happy i am living here. I have lived at the HEB for nearly 10 years without incident. My place in FW is very nearly as nice as my apartment in Greenwich Village, and its 1/5 the cost. Mass transit has really improved so I happily live here without a car. Very grateful to be able to be a downtown resident!

I heard great things about Historic Electric. My goal was to find the perfect place to live and stay for long-term. I have been looking at buying and renting for a couple of years but nothing felt right. There were several factors that made this fit my needs and management took steps to accommodate my expectations. I am pleasantly surprised and have discovered features that I didnt know were here, like instant hot water.... Im happy!

Really enjoy the building. Great location, not so much parking but close to transit and lots of places to work in downtown. Maintenance good. Rent increases a little crazy but still affordable.
