Property Ratings at Hillcrest Apartment Homes
I have received exceptional hospitality from management here, I don't understand why people gave negative reviews?! Sylvia and Angie have done everything they could and went the extra mile for me.
Building is old and outdated. Garbage for 2 people is 140 a month!! So many hidden fees. A 5 dollar cleaning fee when it's very dirty. Management is TERRIBLE!
Yes having a washer + dryer in the unit is cool.... but the $40-60 per person per month trash charge, extremely high PG&E charges, sewer charge (what other complex charges that??? ... NONE)... are all not cool.
Parking is abysmal. You get one spot for your apartment and then have to pay for an additional one. The guest parking can be pretty far from your apartment. For this reason I parked in guest parking and let my girlfriend park in my spot so she wouldn't have to cross the sketchy parking lot alone at 1 am. Without warning I was towed away on the Thanksgiving holiday and had to pay 500 dollars to get my truck back. They looked up my information to confirm I was a resident to tow me. They were technically right, but when they look up my information they can see my number and could call to ask me to move it which I would have willingly done or even issue a simple warning. They chose to take the route that screws over their resident instead of making a simple phone call. In conclusion, the staff doesn't really care about you here and will seek to screw you over instead of simply talking to you whenever they get the chance.
Decent sized apartments with great views. Common areas are kept clean. Central air and heat.Two bedroom/Two bath with washer and dryer. Balcony with storage room. On a bus line. Relatively quiet except for the college students who rent apartments are sometimes a little rowdy but the apartment managers shut that down quick. Parking can be a struggle if you have visitors but it cuts down on the number of visitors which can be a good thing. The apt managers/maintenance are very responsive. Nice place to live.
Very quiet. Mostly adults, very few children at other end.. No play areas for kids. Suitable for adults! Pool, Spa, gym. Clean. Good Management, excellent maintenance men. Problems handled promptly. Onsite nightly security. Animals allowed with fee. Central air and heat. In unit laundry washer/dryer. Very nice apts.
