Property Ratings at Highland Square
I lived at Highland Square Apartments for three years while I attended Law School. I could not have been happier with my experience with the property and management. I felt comfortable and safe on the property and it was filled with many graduate students to make a good study environment. I especially was impressed with the maintenance staff who would respond same day with any concern I raised. Staff who had been with the management company for 20 years. Highly Recommended to Graduate students looking for a place to live. Dog park is Great!
I have been living in the Highland Square apartment complex for several months. The leasing and maintenance staff are very friendly and have been extremely responsive to my requests. The apartment was fresh and clean when I moved in. Tenant noise has not been a problem. The team communicates and addresses issues quickly. I am very happy with my decision to rent an apartment in the Highland Square complex. Many thanks to the Highland Square staff!
I have lived in 5 apartment complexes since starting and finishing college. This one has been the best by far. The staff is helpful and understanding to your problems, and they're constantly improving the pool, gym, and grounds. I have lived in a single unit here, and now currently in a triple with some friends. The only issue I've had here was during snowpocalypse. I am from Florida and did not realize the importance of keeping my heater on while it was freezing. I returned to my single apartment from work to see a pipe had burst and the entire unit was submerged in 2 inches of water. Looking back, this was mostly my fault for not keeping the heat on, as well as the builders who placed the emergency sprinkler system pipes above the insulation in the roof. I'm sure that has been fixed in every unit since then. My unit ended up needing to be redone, and the complex luckily had another single for me to move into. They were very helpful about that. You are also required to keep renters insurance here, so fortunately I was able to claim anything on the floor that got ruined. Only other downside is the Emory undergrads who drive like mental people through the parking lot. I've learned to take corners very slow here. In general, it's pretty quiet here, though. Even on weekends. I am a very light sleeper, so that is important to me.

You will be happy to know that immediately following the ice storm, Highland Square added additional insulation surrounding all sprinkler systems and in all of the attics. In response to your concerns regarding speeding throughout the community, several signs have been ordered instructing drivers to slow down. The signs will be delivered next week and we anticipate installation no later than Friday.
