Besides the minor issues I’ve experienced within the apartment, My family absolutely loves it here at Highland Park. Staff is absolutely incredible and friendly, the location of these apartments is phenomenal. My daughter is on the spectrum and loves to be outside, thankfully she can do this safely with the huge patios they offer to the outer units. We love having a washer and dryer in the unite as well as the stainless steel appliances.

Highland Park strengths are on the office staff hours, and responsiveness, and the area is clean of pests or insects. However the maintenance requests timeliness and quality in completion are a major issue, at least in my experience, and I wouldn't recommend staying unless these issues are resolved.

The location is Perfect! The area is safe. I haven't had any issues with car theft or burglary. The office staff is super nice, friendly and helpful. The maintenance support is on top of things! I submit a request and it is taken care of RIGHT away! Compared to my last apartment, this maintenance team and system is Perfect! The maintenance man is also Very nice and respectful.

DO NOT live here! If you want to be treated like another number and just a husk to extract money from like the rest of this country's corporations then this is the place for you. If you would like consistent/effective communication and options to pay your rent outside of the 24hrs on the day it's due then go live ANYWHERE else.

Highland Park is a great community. Neighbors say "hi" to each other and know your name, maintenance staff are friendly and professional and the complex feels safe and well maintained. The staff have kept our community safe during the pandemic with regular cleanings of shared spaces like the mail room and maintenance staff wear masks while in your apartment. Management has done a good job communicating changes to services or community spaces due to public health mandates and regulations.

When we moved in 3 years ago it was great, now its only excuses, a terrible place to be if so.ething is not working.
Ive lived in apartments for the last 10 years. My biggest complaint has always been that once they move you in, theres a quick personality change. Highland Park is soooo different. Matt and Veronica have been consistent in their treatment of the tenants. This is a feel-good complex and I love it.
Good residential environment, neat and clean . All the staffs are friendly and helpful. I like this community.
I would not recommend highland park. Cell phone service is terrible. Access to WiFi and signing up for a server is complicated because they have cut off certain lines that different providers use, leaving your only option as Cox. The staff communicates very poorly and does not seem to care about issues tenants, especially new tenants have. As they ignore phone calls, requests, and do not get back to their tenants. The move in as a new tenant was extremely stressful because along with having to move my furniture on the second floor, I had to have maintenance at my apartment fixing things and not finishing the job.
I really like my Apartment and management.. They are very nice and professional!

Going on a two-year duration as a resident at Highland Park and overall its been a great experience. Leasing staff, maintenance staff, amenities, complex location to nearby entertainment, shopping, and food locations is ideal for anyone! Especially Tempe college students!
Overall my husband and I love our apartment. We have made it into a home. It's quiet and our neighbors are friendly.

Highland Park location is great, the leasing staff is great, the location is great, ammentities & features are great, but the maintenance service and priority list is poor in my opinion.
I enjoy living at Highland. It is a great Tempe location. The staff are friendly and professional to residents and guests.
I have NEVER seen a front office staff be so unprofessional and unwilling to work with their residents. We had been here for one year and had just signed on for an additional 7 months however it was cut short. I went in on July 7th with a money order of good faith and let them know that we could make another payment by the 17th and by the 31st we would pay any late fees so that we were technically still in July. I was told she cant take partial payments and she would contact me to let us know if the boss will allow it....next thing we have is an eviction notice. When confronted she claimed she couldn't contact us (us?? the same people who the front office called and emailed in April with our new lease and none of our info has changed.) I went down the next day to try and work it out before court and was told that they would accept nothing from us and that I HAD to go to court and the manager said "to lie cheat and steal" to get the money and to show up to court with payment and then they will take the payment because it had to go through judge. i go to court..lawyer has me sign that i need to be in by 8/3 to pay. i come in on 8/1 and ask for the amount owed for July and August. Come back the next day 8/2 with cashiers checks for the full amount owed and told she cant accept payment and to come in first thing Monday morning to give to the manager. I asked her to make a copy to sHow I tried making payment on time and she refused. I arrive the next morning when they open to be told to have a seat because the manager is on the phone. when he gets off i attempt to hand them their payments for JUly and August in full with all fees and I'm told they will not accept payment and decided to evict us ( a family with 4 children). the next day 8/4 they sheriff is there to change the locks. then through talking with neighbors we find a couple have had to lawyer up against this apartment complex because of A/C units not being fixed and another family had to get a lawyer because of a faulty water heater that SRP came out and ruled unfit because the apartments tried blaming the tenant. We had our own problems from the oven having wiring problems to the kitchen sink leaking to the air conditioner being put together by duct tape (yes pictures are taken). The paint in the bathtubs bubbles and peels and when we had Cox come to install cable they found some outlets were just for show and had no wiring behind them. Please do not waste your time or money here.
