The package delivery how some of the carriers operate with the mailroom sucks I would suggest maybe having a person one day out the week to deliver all the packages that are not to large to be delivered to the door steps or something.

We have really enjoyed our time here! Any time we have put in a maintenance request, they always come right away, either within a few hours or at latest the next day, The staff always keep us up to date with any events or important news we need to be made aware of. Overall I’ve had a great experience living here! I’ve been here going on four years and have met some good people in the community! There has been neighbors come and go and I have had to adapt to different lifestyles but that’s what being a good community is all about, adapting. Community seems nice! Apartment was not clean upon move in. So many things were wrong with apartment but luckily maintenance was able to fix them. Front office was very kind and helpful.

The apartment is okay but the breezeway is disgusting ,trash outside all the time.I’m ashamed to invite guests over because of the smell and dirty breezeway.

I like it but I the common areas are not kaept clean with a lot of the spider web and dead insects. Besides many people don't clean after their pets.

The rent is just too high for all the car break-ins not to mention that we honestly should be a gated community for the amount of rent we pay. I do think they should lower the rent. The Staff is great! Allie (Property Manager) is very much willing to help. I know it can be stressful at times but she does a great job helping the Residents.

The community is unproblematic and anytime I need maintenance for an issue they come within 10-15 minutes. And the issues are always resolved quickly. Amazing!

i give it 1/10, increasing rent even for returning loyal clients, useless upgrades that does nothing really for the residents but increase rent, i did enjoy the ring upgrade and the nest upgrade, did not enjoy the water pressure downgrade, there is a spider infestation, maintenance team is good will say that, leasing office cares nothing about the residents or making them happy living here, the apartments smell because trash is left out day and night, everyday i walk to my apartment holding my breath, there’s dog poop everywhere cause everyone here has large dogs, my apartment smells like weed 24/7 because i guess heron lake allows smoking now, i tried to escalate my negative feedback to upper management and was ignored luckily for heron lake i did not have adequate time to seek legal council cause i thought i was moving out but on this next leasing agreement i will come with a lawyer cause i know i have rights as renter and they can’t keep increasing rent

The neighborhood is generally quiet. I submitted a maintenance request and it was fixed the same day. The leasing office employees are really helpful.
Main complaint I have is the same one I always have.. the dog park is poorly maintained, not enough dog waste stations, no one cleans up after their dogs. (You usually have to walk to the outside parameters to find a station) last year we received emails with the dates the scheduled pest control and other preventative maintenance was to be done, this year it seems you have to either guess or try and contact the office. For the price of apartment sometimes I think it’s not worth it. Crime in the complex area itself seems to have gone down which is a bonus
We moved in a few days ago and we have had an amazing experience with the staff. Very helpful with move-in instructions and made sure we had everything we needed for a smooth and easy transition. I look forward to living here!
My experience at the heron lake has been nothing but amazing I love the spacious apartment.. plenty of parking .. no nosy neighbors the grounds are clean and most importantly management is amazing… shout outs to ebony and Lauren they are two of the amazing ladies u could even deal with..so yes I love my experience being here
Been here for two years almost now. Almost every time we’ve had a problem the staff has addressed it quickly and helped solve it. Only wish the dog park was taken better care of
The new office personnel not very friendly and unprofessional. A lot of dog poop is always in front of building. It’s kind of ridiculous at this point.
I love my apartment because I have windows I can see outside anytime and a patio if I want to just step outside for air. I also love there’s no carpets to vacuum! I love the Tide Valet trash pickup so I don’t have to lift garbage bags or can to take outside. Maintenance crew has always responded in a timely manner and corrects the problem.
Nice Apartments my kids and i really enjoy the spacious apartment and the pool. We also enjoy how fast maintenance repairs things very quickly
it’s been great. very helpful and quick to respond to maintenance concerns. it’s quiet for the most part, and i just moved in and everyone i’ve run into has been super friendly.
Apartments are clean and updated. Staff is friendly and responds to maintenance requests quickly. Location is close to alot of stores so its nice.
So far everything has been great. The community is really nice and has nice amenities. Moving in was very easy with the nice leasing team. Would recommend to anyone looking for a new place to stay.
Everything is really lovely out here. I love the look in my apartment. The fitness center is really nice. That's awesome that it stays open 24 hours a day.
Overall, a great move in experience. Had a few things I noticed when moving in and maintenance was here quickly and resolved the issues quickly!
Absolutely impressed with the customer service from the initial visit to the move in day. First off, the entire facility is immaculate, clean, and well maintained. Great first impression. Apartments were updated and everything worked as it should. Convenient to loc add l shopping and restaurants. Quite in the evenings. Lots of parking.
Heron lake is a great place to live. The staff is great and correct any issue quickly! I have only been here 6 months but I love my home! I would recommend this apartments to anyone looking!
Overall, Heron Lake is an adequate place to live. Not exceptional, but adequate. I personally have had multiple issues with my neighbors & their lack of taking care of their pets (leaving them on the balcony for extended periods). The leasing office is aware of that issue, but I can’t see that anything has been done. Maintenance is usually helpful & quick to respond to work orders.

Great place to lived Closed to shopping centers and in close proximity to hospitals . Has great scenery . The environment is pleasant quiet and plenty of parking space.
No issues since living here, maintenance issues are addressed in a timely matter and they are always friendly. The office keeps everyone informed of different situations that may cause an issue but also give their recommendations to keep ourselves safe.
The application and move in process was very stress free and easy. This place is very quiet. And my my apartment is very spacious. And the staff are very helpful.
Would give 0 stars if I could. Absolute horrible place to live. Don’t leave anything valuable in your car because cars get broken into all the time, there are broken Windows and porch doors in complex, gunshots in the middle of the night. can’t get in touch with anyone in the office. Biggest thing tho was a murder here and the leasing office acted as if nothing happened

worst place i have stayed in my life, i have been a resident here since 2019, before and after the renovation. before the renovation the customer service was ok and the apartments was a nice place to live, felt safe and secure. after the first-second year i believe someone brought out the old people that owned the apartments and that’s when things went downhill, that’s when customer service went non existent, that’s when they no longer tended to the apartments kept them clean, they used to power wash and keep the bugs down, they don’t clean the apartment areas that everyone use, there is a spider infestation, they keep increasing rent but the customer service does not match, the amenities they offer are always out of order, i have tried to reach out to lincoln property company about my dissatisfaction and they gave me the run around or just straight ignored me same as the heron lake staff, it’s just too much money for subpar unsafe apartments

I was looking to rent a two bedroom apartment, and took a tour with Mr. Anthony . These apartments started out with high quality when we first moved here, but they have declined especially since COVID. Maintenance is one of the bright spots here, as they are pretty much the same staff who were here prior to the pandemic. But management has been rather slack in dealing with interpersonal troubles, preferring to let overworked county police handle issues. There's also a lack of enforcement of trash rules and breezeways are seldom ever cleaned. For temporary residency, this place is as good as any in Columbia. But long-term residency is not recommended.
