Hardrock Canyon

Hardrock Canyon is a clean, and secure community. It offers convenient bus access to Downtown. The staff is friendly. Overall, it’s a solid community with room for improvement.

I love living here. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. Shopping and restaurants and very close and easily accessible.

You can’t beat the location. Walking distance to H-E-B, Trader Joe’s and a lot of other shops. It’s very quiet other than the noise of gardeners. They’ve been struggling to keep good staff but the manager Alex is awesome!

The staff and maintenance team are awesome, would love to see more community events! The pool is beautiful and great wildlife but with that comes some bugs!

Great place, great location, all around great place to live. Lived here since it opened in 1993 and haven't found a reason to leave. Leasing and maintenance staff are excellent.

Appreciate some beautification efforts are being carried out but the place needs more improvement. Example is the cement steps leading to the apartment floors are giving way with cracks in some places. Will take some days before maintenance staff respond to a maintenance request. Place does not justify the rent.

Hardrock Canyon is a great place to call home, the community amenities are well maintained and the location is unbeatable. It’s a quiet, clean place to live.

Fantastic Location. Typically very fast maintenance but has at times been less than ideal to flat out not showing up at all. There is on demand pest management which is nice and definitely necessary if you have one of the canyon views!

The apartments are very spacious, clean. The area that I am in has a beautiful view. Everything I need is fairly close by.

Great place to live, location location, location. Lots of amenities, Been getting maintenance on the property. Fixing fences, roofs on all buildings. Everyone in the leasing office is super friendly.

My first month living at Hardrock Canyon has been an amazingly smooth and pleasant experience (recently moved to Texas from out of state). The free amenities at Hardrock are great, from its fitness center (which I frequent 2-3 times/week) to its pools (one of which is a lap pool!). The surrounding neighborhood is also fantastic, from the two great grocery stores (HEB and Trader Joe's) to a wide variety of restaurants and other stores (Target, Barnes & Noble, Costco, etc.) Overall I am very happy I chose Hardrock Canyon as my first residency in Austin, TX.

So far, I haven't moved in yet. But Elizabeth was very warm and welcoming in showing me around! The community seems very vibrant, and the amenities are very nice. That lookout is one of the things that got me to choose this place. I move in soon, can't wait!

These apartments have the best location and are quiet and pleasant.

We have enjoyed living at Hardrock Canyon. The maintenance team is always very helpful whenever we have any issues. There is plenty of parking and we are very close to stores and the freeway.

HRC has the potential to be one of the hidden gems of the Great Hills Area, however the quality of the property is going down every year that I continue to live here. HRC greatest asset is the wonderful community of residents who live on-site who are very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, most of the amenities do not work, or are very fairly taken care of by the maintenance staff - so a resident does not get to enjoy many of the properties features to their full capacity. There is a lot of potential at HRC, but in the present moment many of the fine details of maintaining the care of the property receive below average attention.

Great smooth move in experience. Getting the utilities transferred and everything was simple enought had WiFi immediately thanks to spectrum

So far so good . Residents are extremely friendly and caring. Dog park is a great perk for my fur baby:-) Love my private parking space and the pool area looks like loads of fun!!!

Good community, good gym, so many trees, deers , clean, safe, no noise, and maintainence staff is friendly. They have a big swimming pool also

Hardrock Canyon is a professional friendly community. The office staff and the maintenance teams are always courteous and ready to listen to whatever the resident wants. It is kept clean, and there is good lighting at night. And, if I judge from the building I'm in (#2), it is a quiet place. Thank you for your care!

The location can’t be beat. Walking distance to traders, HEH Starbucks and so much more. The community neighbors are awesome. The apartments are pretty old and need updating but there are so many positives.

My first experience was receiving a warm and positive welcome from Kentravis in the leasing office and I look forward to living in the community.

Love to call my home! Glad the dog wash is up and running just in time for shed season! Quietest residence I’ve lived…both inside home from outside noise as well as residents within the building. Location is bustling with great dining, shopping and nature bearing experiences. Right on bus line for those needing it! Really, all you need within a few blocks..walking distance. Trader Joe’s and HEB, car care, gas station, close to major highway intersection, foot truck park, urgent care, veterinary services…even car dealerships. All those affairs available and STILL quiet. It’s be a hard option to pass by.

Perfect floorplan for myself and my 4 legged babies. Super chill community with fabulous amenities, including 3 pools , self dog washing station, self car wash all llocated within the property , dog park, etc. Come thru and take a look condo specs so very little if any noise from neighbors . I adore the leasing and mgmt team here. Kentravis , Alex and really all of the folks in the office have been super helpful and always super polite. That's what keeps me here!

Great location so close to groceries such as HEB and Trader Joe’s. A 15 minutes drive to The Domain is a plus for this community. The landscape is wonderful with so many trees so it’s kind of cool in the summer.

My only problem is the bugs sometimes but that probably comes in part with the wildlife I get to see from my balcony! Otherwise any other problems that I have faced have been promptly resolved. But the front gate hasn’t closed in months and that is annoying!

This is a great place to live. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and grocery stores. The staff are helpful and professional! Highly recommend.

I absolutely love the community but have been disappointed in the complex upkeep. The complex could be absolutely beautiful with extra amenities but is overlooked by those in charge.

The staff and the neighbors create a wonderful sense of comunity living there. Combined with all of the trees and trails it's very inviting.

This is a professional, friendly community, which is always clean and welcomes the stranger who is looking for living accommodations. I only wish they had a bit better lighting at night. I once came back late in the evening--walking from the bus stop outside this community, and it felt really dark!! I should carry a flashlight!

so far I have had a really smooth transition into my new apartment. It was easy to apply online. Everyone in the office was super helpful and nice and I have no complaints about the property yet! It feels very safe and quiet but conveniently located near so much stuff. The walls are super thick so I don’t hear any of my neighbors. The apartment is spacious and I am super happy with my decision.

Staff is helpful, apartment and facilities are clean and well maintained. Surrounding area has lots of good restaurants and entertainment options.

Very happy at Hardrock so far. Love the apartment outside of a few quirks (what apartment doesn't have those), and the location is perfect for me.

I am going on almost 3 years here and I absolutely love living here. The location is the best ever. Close to the Domain, Arboretum, HEB, target, Costco, Sam's and dozens of restaurants. The community is quiet, parking is great, 3 pools, carwash station, and the dog wash room is the best. The folks up in the office are always helpful and have never been rude in anyway to me . My dogs love the pet park and mostly the trails all around the neighborhood. All in all great places to live.

Hardrock Canyon is in a great location, and it really well landscaped. I feel like I'm living in a treehouse, which I love. That said, rent is pricey, maintenance is responsive but will perform the cheapest fix possible (literal duct tape) to avoid replacing something that's broken. Management is also inaccessible and unbending on policies no matter the circumstances. We had a bad experience with them after a flood in our apartment, which wasn't fixed for months. They refused rent credit and did not keep us updated on their repair timeline.

A few bumps, but I think that is normal for every apartment complex. The staff is very helpful and quick to reply. Grounds are well kept and always clean. Parking is a little wonky but I never have to park too far away. Overall a really good place to live and will continue to renew my lease as long as I can.

You can’t beat the location. I can walk to the gym and H-E-B and Trader Joe’s. The neighbors are a wonderful group of people and it’s such a fantastic community of support.

Clean, quiet, spacious floor plans with complex close to favorite stores! Great High School! Staff professional and get quick responses in appropriate timing of left messages. Love the HUGE dog park!! Just moved in and haven’t checked out the gym, laundry, office area, car wash and pet wash area. I enjoy the community so far and expect to keep my feet planted here.

Location is great, but communication from staff is spotty. Entrance gates are often not working, and the Morado Cir. gate has been open for months. Would also love to have compost on the property, if that were possible.

I enjoy living at Hardrock Canyon for the wonderful location, apartment floor plan and features (large patio and a fireplace in my unit), and quiet, friendly neighborhood feel that it offers.

Of all the places I would recommend Hardrock. Office and maintenance team are easy to work with. Hardrock natural setting is pretty, I look forward to coming home.

Location is great, a lot of plazas and restaurants around you, HEB is right across the street . Also , residence is cozy and it’s a quiet place. parking is easy.

This is a very pleasant apartment community in a great location--quiet and safe, with three buses going by, near Barnes & Noble, a great renovated HEB, and the Arboretum Shopping Center. The Office Staff is wonderful--pleasant, helpful, caring; and so seems to be our maintenance staff.

My husband and I have lived in this community since 2018. Love this place, close to groceries and restaurants. HEB is just across the street.
