All Aura 509 staff is great! Love my time here. The community is fairly quiet but everyone is very friendly. The gym is nice and has a lot of availability

We are thrilled with the building, location, activities available for residents and the staff! We recently renewed our lease and couldn’t be happier! There are more and more living options opening in Durham, but we didn’t even consider moving from here!

This team is great. From our first experience with Phil during the leasing process to the promptness of Vicky responding to building issues, the team is on it!

We've lived here for almost a year and I've waited to give my review until I'd been here long enough to give an honest review. PROS: The staff and residents MAKE this community! The large balcony was the deciding factor on renting our apartment. I love the location and the maintenance team is SUPER FAST in getting things done! The apartments themselves are larger than most of the units in the area. The CONS: There's no dog park. The parking deck is 2 levels that don't connect & the parking spaces are small if you have a larger car like an SUV or truck. There are 2 elevators and 1 of them is locked down for movers, repair, trash collection, etc. at least once a week. The employees of the Senior Center park on the alley that leads to one of the parking garages which doesn't leave enough room for incoming & outgoing traffic simultaneously. I'm not sure how the Aura can fix it since the alley is a public road & not under the Aura's control so I don't fault them for it but it's a problem.

We are fairly satisfied with our experience. Had a recent issue with our fire alarm going off without stopping, but maintenance was able to come and fix the issue.

It's wonderful living here—the location is especially delightful. Lately, there have been fewer events. As a lover of free snacks, I'm hopeful they will have a few more in coming months!

The staff here at Aura are amazing! They are friendly and helpful and always take time to say hello and check in with everyone. It has a very nice community feel and it’s nice to see that they are interested in the residents.

I had a great experience living in this building. Friendly staff and modern fixtures. Only wish the walls weren’t so thin. Could frequently hear my neighbors.

Living here is wonderful! The staff are kind and maintenance is super fast and easy. The location is lovely and it is so fun to walk around downtown. The only downside is that false fire alarms are more common than one would hope, always resulting in some stress to us and our cat. This issue has gotten better since we moved in, and I hope it continues to trend that way!

Extremely attentive maintenance and front desk staff, complex is always clean and well-kept. Rent is reasonable for the area and what you get in the apartment.

Friendly staff, maintenance requests completed quickly, very quiet environment, no loud noise complaints at all. Is a positive, welcoming change from my last apartment complex.

I leased at the sister property aura in chapel hill. This aura was nice but location was not it for me. Hard to get to the highway and far from work. Erica though was lovely and delightful and recommend the other aura for me. So I’m psyched !!!

I love my apartment and my experience here. However, when the building is almost to its maximum capacity you can tell the lack in the building complexity. You can easily hear the footsteps of your neighbors. I love working with all the building staff. They are a wonderful caring staff

It’s good but I think the apartment has increased fee for everything like parking, even coffee which we’re not there the last year. Nonetheless the experience is good

It’s been two month and I enjoy every moment! The staff is so friendly and common area is comfortable. The only thing can be blamed is being at the top floor it could be warm sometimes.

Easy access to the American Tobacco Trail, walking distance to Bulldega, DPAC, and all sorts of bars and restaurants. I've missed city living, and so far loving it here!

The kitchens are equipped with high-quality appliances, and in-unit laundry makes daily living convenient. Location, Location, Location! Aura 509’s location is fantastic! It’s a short drive from downtown Durham, with easy access to restaurants and parks. Exceptional Management and Community The management team is attentive and committed to resident satisfaction. The sense of community is strong, with regular events that foster connection. Conclusion Overall, my experience at Aura 509 has been amazing. The leasing office and maintenance teams have been helpful! It has been a pretty good experience living here so far with minor issues that have been resolved.

Move in day was a stress free process. Management was very helpful with reserving the elevator and helping me find a cart. I felt super welcomed right away!

I was debating between Durham and Chapel Hill and toured several apartments in Durham. Although Aura 509 wasn’t my top choice on paper based on my research, the service I received during the tour was exceptional. When I arrived, Phil was busy finishing up another tour, but another gentleman greeted me warmly, brought me to their coffee bar, and made some pleasant small talk while I waited. Phil then took over and was incredibly welcoming and detailed throughout the tour. The building was spotlessly clean—something I didn’t see at many other complexes I visited. The apartment I was shown was fresh, clean, and had a lovely view of the pool area with modern fixtures. Although it was a bit smaller than I had hoped, Phil showed me other great options. In the end, I found an apartment that worked perfectly for me. Highly recommend Aura 509 for their outstanding service!
