Northeast Philadelphia is a large, mostly residential section of the city positioned a few miles outside of Downtown. With its abundance of affordable apartments and rental houses, the “Great Northeast” is a popular area for budget-conscious Philadelphians. The community’s most famous attraction is the Philadelphia Mills, a large outlet shopping center that also houses a major multiplex movie theater.
Dozens of public parks of every size give the locals ample opportunities to get outside and enjoy the fresh air, particularly the huge nature preserve surrounding Pennypack Creek. Convenient access to SEPTA service, Interstate 95, and Northeast Philadelphia Airport make it easy for folks to travel across town or across the country.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Grant Gardens
Really nice guy in office. Know how to talk to the tenant
The pictures are deceiving. I lived here for a year. Management is horrible don’t care about their tenets safety or manintence requests, the only care about getting your rent money. There have be thefts in these complexs , not safe at all, main front and back doors have been broken and not fixed for days. Anyone can come into the complex. Hallways are dirty and smell , the laundry room is creepy and dirty. Neighbors are not to be trusted, let anyone live here. The smell of marijuana and loud tenets is what you will get. Witnessed mice come out my wall that they just put a slab over to cover up the hole. Windows are not secure people can push them open from the outside if your on the ground level. This is a legit review and I wasn’t evicted , don’t let them tell you these review are from bitter tenets I finished my term and left willing
this is apartament for mice, this is not for the people. everywhear is so many treach, so bed smell, in my apartament is lot of mice, in the kitchen is allveys the poops of mice. orible!!! I well moove from hear!!!
I live hear for 7 monts and horible cpace for live. in my house is lot of mouses, everywhear is so many treach, so bed smeal in apartament. don't moove hear!!!
I stayed in this apartment for 15 months and really liked it and if there is any reason to get apartment back, I will like to stay there....very neat and quiet place to stay.
I moved in two months ago and really love it here! The price can't be beat for the great location and the apartment itself is nice. My building is really nice and quiet, and everyone just minds their own business. I am a nurse and I work overnights, so its really important for me to live in a quiet place so I can sleep during the day. I had some minor maintenance issues and they were taken care of right away.
