Property Ratings at Granite Place-1011-11013
Essentially, you pay for what you get. Thin walls, noisy neighbors, rude management, cheap laminate floors that bubble if you spill anything. Rent is cheap at a lot of places now and days - you can definitely find better and be much more comfortable.
Terrible place to live. Dirty common areas, heat doesn’t work, water doesn’t get hot. Additionally, I have had multiple packages stolen from the mail room - and they don’t have cameras to monitor it. Do NOT move here.
The management is awful. They would tow your car for snow plowing without giving you any notice and it would cost you $300 to get it back. Management is rude and not responsive to complains. It would take weeks to get any repairs done. The people in charge of cleaning the public areas do not do their jobs. The public areas are dirty, the trash is always overflowing, the machines in the laundry often do not work. When you check out, forget about getting back your deposit. During the checkout visit, the management said our apartment was clean but then we received a letter that said they were charging us to shampoo the carpets. The walls and doors are thin and I could hear a neighbor continually scream at this wife and kids.
Great location. That’s all I can say. These apartments are literally trying to set you up for failure. They put the cheapest of wood floors down, that if you dropped a penny it will chip. They cover all the walls with this white paint that will smudge with any color that touches it (couch rubbing against wall, ect) needless to say you won’t get your deposit back. You will hear every conversation above, below and beside you. The ladies in the office are always changing their minds on the apartment rules just to try to get as much money from you as possible. From towing your vehicle without a 24 hour snow plow notice, to random rules on paying your bills and then they charge you fees. I would not recommend this apartment or any others owned by this company, to anyone.
This property is the WORST place to live. The management people smoke all the time, even in the building. The stairs always smell smoke. The management is rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. I will leave this place as soon as possible. To future residents, don't even think of renting here. You will regret it. I can't think of the worst place to live.
This property is the worst property to live even the office management people smoke everywhere. They are so rude and disrespectful it takes two people to work in office rental thank God I moved out of this place as soon as possible. You can't even work out the workout room they created smokes like cigarette there are always in there smoking at the balcony and Underground parking
In all honestly, I was very excited to look at this apartment and thought this was going to be the perfect place to live. As soon as I walked into the doors, I was caught off guard. The director was not interested in talking and showed a horrible room. The apartment room I toured had two males- it was 10:30 am- one guy was still passed out on the floor surrounded by alcohol bottles and the other guy answered the door with no shirt on and went straight back to bed. Safe to say, I will not be living here, and I hope future residents receive a better tour.
