I have lived here 4 years. They have come a long positive way clearing out problem tenants. Keeping building clean and amenities up to date.

Clean, well maintained and has a gym in the building! Close to the metro and supermarkets

Glennwood is beautiful, the amenities are amazing. Instantly it caught my attention. When I went to see the apartment chelsea and the super jose were soo welcoming and respectful. They answered all my questions and helped me with everything. this place is awesome cant wait to move in.

I have been a resident here for many years, and seeing the new property manager that knows what they are doing is like a breath of fresh air. I will be here for more years to come

Worst management. Ever.   I don't understand how this apartment complex has 4.0 out of 5 rating. They have horrible management here at GLENWOOD APARTMENTS. The property manager is so fake. She acts like everything is in your favor when she doesn't even remember the conversations you had. ALSO, communication is horrible. Its so sad how this property is all about taking your money. They don't care about YOU, all they care about is your MONEY. Stay away from this place. It does not deserve 4 stars. Absolutely disgusting management. Train your workers well.

The process from start to finish a seamless one. The apartment was exactly what was shown in pictures with a beautiful view.

This apartment is located close to the train station and bus stop so getting around is not an issue. The property manager is very nice! She always respond to my email in a timely manner. The facility here is also great. I love that there is laundry onsite and a business center where you can to print your documents. So far I haven’t had any major issues.

Been living here for almost half a year and my time has gone by amazingly. The people who live in this apartment community are kind and peaceful. The people managing the property from Kiona to Jose are individuals who put a smile on your face everytime you see them because of their attractive personalities and professional work ethic. I live by myself in a studio and have more than enough room and all my needs are catered to. Also located in a central location that is close to everything you could think of from the NYC to parks to shopping centers and so on. Love it here and plan to be here for as long as possible.

Great apartment! The commute to New York is easy and the location is great. The building is clean and has everything you need. The property manager and maintenance are amazing and willing to help you with all your needs.

This apartment complex is great. They keep the building clean, management is always helpful, and the area is quite. The apartment is spacious with great details that accentuates the look of the overall apartment. Great place to live.

For the past 2 months there has been a loud metal clanking in my apartment. Made several requests to maintenance before they even looked at the issue. After getting jerked around for a month of them saying they'll fix it, nothing has been done. It's hard to get any good rest here. Even though this is clearly a breach of contract, they refuse to refund my deposit so I can leave. Save your money..

Well, after searching for a very long time for an apartment, I, like Dorothy, have found home. Ms. Coleman, was very instrumental in the process.

I had a pleasant experience during the application process. I scheduled a day to view the apartment, and I was interested. I had my documents with me and started the application process. I was told that same day I qualified for the apartment. The apartment was renovated and beautiful. This place feels like paradise; no noises at night, the building is clean and I feel safe. Kiona made the experience pleasant and smooth; Jose the super is friendly.

I just moved here, this is my first apartment outside of college, and Kiona the leasing manager has made this a seamless and easy process. The amenities the building provides are super convenient. The gym, which is included in the rent, is amazing. No need for a gym membership. The business center has computers and printer for usage and parking is right across the street. Great place to live as a first apartment!

I've been living at Glenwood Apts since 2011 and since then I've seen all the improvements to this building. I espeically love the gym. Wheever I have problems with my apt, the workers are quick to fix my problems. the newest apartment/property manager is awesome.. always helpig me out if I have any issues... but overall, i love this place and dont plan on moving anytime soon...

I just moved here from Florida and it has been by far the best decision to stay here at Glenwood Apartments. Moving to a new city/state is very scary especially when you don't know anyone, so naturally I didn't know what to expect when I scheduled my first appointment to view the apartment and get more information on their availability. As soon as I came in, Kiona, the Property Manager, was extremely warm, professional and welcoming. She answered all of my questions, took me on a tour of the complex and showed me the amenities. I definitely left that appointment with my mind made up. This happened to be the first apartment in New Jersey I looked at during my search and it became my last. After going through so much headache looking at other properties in NYC, it was clear that New Jersey, better yet, Glenwood Apartments was going to be my new home. And it was smooth sailing after that; within the next 2 weeks I signed my paperwork, got the keys and moved in. The whole staff is nothing short of amazing; Jose, the Superintendent, is such a sweetheart and is always ready to help you with anything you may need. The building is always kept clean, the amenities are amazing and the most responsive office and maintenance staff I've ever seen. The tenants are super nice and genuine and I don't feel like a new-comer. All in all, this whole transition has really warmed my heart and will truly be one I will cherish. I would definitely recommend Glenwood Apartments to anyone.

I moved back to East Orange after many years to be closer to family and work. I'm glad I chose 55 Glenwood, not only because of its amenities but because it has the most responsive office and maintenance staff I've ever come across. Kiona the property manager is pleasant and always answers questions in a timely manner, and the 24 hour maintenance hotline really works! Once reported, Jose the superintendent and his staff resolve issues within a day. They are also on call during the weekend for emergencies, even on holidays. Moreover, the building is kept clean, which is important for a property of this size.

Glenwood apartments is a great place to live. The area is safe the building is reovated and the tenants that live in the buildig are usually polite. I lived in the building for over three years and in two different apartments. When i first moved in the building i was a student and moved into a beautiful studio apartment, i stayed there for three years and then decided i wanted something bigger but i didnt want to leave the building so i transfered to a one bed room in the beginning of 2019. I had fell in love all over again with my apartment i love my kitchen and bathroom and my living room and bed room are great sizes and i have an ok view. Now i must say the only thing i dont like is that the rent goes up every year but other than that the building is a great place to live

I love the fact the building is senior citizen friendly because I'm up in age. The building is kept clean daily. I like the HUB, it's great for my packages to be kept in. The New property Manager is Awesome, very helpful and patient with me, she's very caring. She's a sweetheart! The Super Jose, does a Great job with all repairs that I have received. The whole staff is doing a Great Job. Keep up the Good Work!

I absolutely, Love Glenwood. I have lived her for over 18 yrs. I like the friendly neighbors, and family oriented people here. I like the New manager AND the Super is Great and very helpful.

First I have to speak about the Building Management. Kiona helps a lot. she is a no nonsense, straight to the point manager who cares about the tennants at 55 Glenwood Avenue. The last managers were not as good. The crew here was very supportive and willing to correct any problems with my apartment. Although this is an old Building, maintenance is doing a great job. Jose' is always there to help with what ever needed to be repaired ad corrected on the grounds. The lawn is always trimed and security is always available eccept for the evenings till morning. My complaint is with the parking situation. Can't there be a way to get an application from City Hall to park on the street without tennants taking a day off of work ? What of the gym? There should be longer hours for tennants who work late, the same goes for the computer lab. I am a Student pursueing a Bachalors Degree. My studies are mostly online and spend a lot of time i the Busiess Center. Why can't it stay open later or can some accomodations by available for such a situation happens? I love the HUB, it makes things so much easier with package delivery and pick-up! The new PM Kiona is Great! She's very helpful. The building is Great place to live and the people here are very friendly. We need a playground or play area for the children in the building, that would be a Great addition!

I love the Gym & Business Center at the Building! They are the BEST additions to the Building. The New Property Manager is Fabulous, she has a Great personality! Maintenance could be more professional at times, however ALL the guys are very nice, and are appreciated. I would change the 4% increase, and the Laundry Room needs a makeover, but it does the job!

I absolutely Love this building! The Property Manager Kiona is doing Fantastic Job, she's a Keeper! The Super Jose is Very Friendly & Hard Working! I appreciate the ENTIRE staff and all that they do for the tenants. This is a wonderful place to raise a Family. If your looking for an Apartment to make your Home, This is it!

I moved in for a few weeks now and when I arrived I thought it was small but when I put my furniture in and decorated I had so much room . The amenities are very useful and maintenance is always on call when you need them it’s great . Lastly the property Manager Kiona is beyond helpful and awesome

Would not encourage anyone to rush to renting an apartment. Management rounds the 4% yearly increase to the whole dollar amount. Additionally, there's a big problem with roaches in the building particularly in apartments.

As the other reviewer said Natasha and the management team on excellent, no complaints, I would recommend 55 Glenwood Apartments to anyone 100%.

So I’ve been living in the building for almost a year and I must say that it is pretty well kept , one of my major issues is the intercom, it has greatly inconvenienced me because I can’t buzz anyone in I have to leave and go all the way downstairs to let someone in or I end up missing packages because I can’t buzz them in through my mobile device . Even after reporting the issue several times attempts have been made to resolve it but it hasn’t been properly addressed. The pros so far are the building being close to transportation, banks and supermarkets and the onsite laundry , gym and business center and also very handy ! Overall I've had good experience.

The gym, laundry machines when they are working, proximity to train, and off street parking are what makes it decent. Other than that, the noisy neighbors and small kitchen are not worth staying here for long.

My son rented his first apartment at Glenwood Apartments. I moved in with him 2 years later and was truly impressed with the upkeep of the building. Courtney and her staff are very professional and work hard to ensure tenants needs are met in a timely manner. Had it not been for us needing more space, we'd still be there.

Close to the train station so u can go to nyc. Have built in Landry room, business center, and gym. Three blocks from shop rite. Lots of schools, and parks.. We have 3 parking lots. One underground parking, and 2 outdoors parking. Utilize enclosed in rent. Four blocks from shopping area. Mins away from newark, NJ.. Very close to buses and taxes.. Four block from price station, court house, and library.. Near Walgreen, rite aide, Rita, and liquid store. Very safe neighborhood..
