The area's picturesque setting includes rolling hills and the confluence of the Susquehanna and Chenango Rivers. The property is located close to the Binghamton Regional Airport, and is conveniently located by connections for Interstates 81 and 88, as well as Route 17. The Apartments at Glenview are only a few miles from Binghamton University and Broome Community College giving residents access to exceptional and affordable higher education. Roughly an hour south of Syracuse, Binghamton is a thriving cultural center with countless entertainment options for residents. The downtown area is locally known as “Center City,” and it is indeed the epicenter for the business and leisure activity in town. Binghamton University’s downtown campus adds a distinct college town vibe to the community—the nightlife in particular is electric.
The local arts scene rivals many larger cities in breadth and scope with a large population of artists contributing to numerous galleries and public events around town. Music events fill much of the calendar, as well as performances by the local orchestra and opera company. Many apartments are positioned in highly walkable areas, particularly Center City, First Ward, and Westside.

Property Ratings at Glen View Apartments
I lived here for several years and had an overall decent experience. Pros: allows pets; property is well-maintained; never saw any cockroaches. Cons: property manager can be standoffish; plumbing issues (egg smell occasionally comes up through drains); thin walls. The complex had a bed bug breakout that tenants were notified about, but maintenance immediately inspected all apartments to ensure they were eradicated. At night, during the summertime, you can smell the farm up the road.
Glen View has it's ups and downs. This is my first place so I don't have a whole lot to compare it to. It has on site laundry which is a plus. Another plus is the carport. Each unit gets one with extra off street parking. Not a whole lot of sense of community here. Everyone sticks to themselves. There used to be a pool here but that was long gone before I moved in, all that's left is an asphalt slab where it used to be. There are a lot of families with kids here. One important thing to note is management will raise your rent each time you renew your lease. Lease options include yearly, 6 months, and month to month. Pets are welcome but cost extra.
These apartments are beautiful. Not to mention the quiet area. I would recommend these properties to any and everyone.
