Like every place it has its pros and cons- however there are enough pros i felt comfortable moving my daughter and myself in on our own. The people have been welcoming and nice. The areas nice. I do wish there was more lighting at night though
If you want to avoid problems and headaches, I don't recommend living here.
Had an amazing time moving in. Process was incredible quick and they were very kind and communicative. They are on top of everything. Thank you!

Communication about up coming changes/updated work orders has been amazing! The property has been looking so good also. Only thing I would change/add is making more flexible hours for events. Some of us don’t work a 9-5 job and miss out on a lot of the community events. Other than that very happy.

Not terrible, not great. Still need a washer and dryer and couldn’t use our AC all summer bc it leaked all over the floor and they never came to fix it after putting in a request and calling the office

It's absolutely awful here. I've had leaks since I moved in (plus SO SO many other problems), management sucks at responding and is ONLY ever nice when they get called out. I can't believe this place hasn't been shut down yet. All this place does is prey on people.

I’ve really enjoyed living here. The rent is very reasonable for the area, and the staff is always friendly. The maintenance crew always greets me with a good morning when they’re out and about, which I really appreciate. The leasing office staff is also wonderful Josie, in particular, is amazing! maintence is extremely slow to respond and when they do the problem usually doesn’t even get fixed:/ extremely frustrating. neighbors are friendly and apartments are spacious, just hard to overlook the huge maintenance issues.

I like living here, it just wish our AC worked this summer, parking was better and the grill are was working so we could grill this summer. The dog park, is kind of a joke, nobody uses it, or very few people do, I wish they would use it for something different, like maybe a new grill area, a tennis court or basketball court. I just hope in the upcoming winter months the clear infront of all the buildings. I like living here, it's not a brand new complex, but it is ok for now.

This is not a friendly place to live. Great area, very quiet, but the staff is rude. Things don't get fixed. I feel like I'm being watched at all times.

Can’t get anything repaired and the place is always trashed. We’ve had trim falling off the building since I got here, I reported it, nothing happened. There is a shopping cart sitting in my stairwell for weeks, they are doing a repair on the sidewalk right beside it, yet they are too lazy to remove it, makes it look trashy. I put in an A/C request at the beginning of summer, still hasn’t even been looked at and summer is over now.
We have had the keys for 10 days and still don’t have working plumbing, washer/dryer, dishwasher, or oven/stove. There’s also wasps all over. We submitted work order and maintenance requests on day one and nothing has been resolved.

Management is kind and responsive, and maintenance is on top of work orders. However, the general apartment condition is dismal coming from Pittsburgh where we paid half the price for twice the quality. It's clear the painters couldn't have cared less - outlets, air vent levers, shower door track drainage holes, etc. were painted over. The apartment smelled like cigarettes when we moved in. The carpet clearly has never been replaced or professionally cleaned and there are paint drips on carpet throughout the unit. The shower and faucet hot water temperatures exceed CO Plumbing Code (idk how it passed inspection this month, supposedly) at 160 degrees F, and there are nuisance damages/wear-and-tear (e.g. loose electrical sockets, broken toilet seat fasteners, missing shower drain cover) all over. The balcony/deck flooring is a worn, uneven splinter hazard. Finally, AC systems this summer all over the complex are leaking and malfunctioning.

Management and leasing agents are incredibly rude and not helpful. They do not care about your safety or wellbeing. We waited for weeks for our AC to be fixed while getting no answers from the front office. I’m beyond frustrated with the way this situation has been handled. They have hung up the phone on me, ignored phone called, disregarded emails, and even threatened eviction.
My washer and dryer were broken for two months when I moved in and my AC still hasn’t been fixed and it’s 90° outside. The community washer and dryers are disgusting. The hot tub has been broken for who knows how long even though it was supposed to be fixed in the middle of May.
I love the apartment, but there are a few things that I think could be better, in order to give better stars. Parking could be better, the floors could be better, the amenities are good, but not great the apartments are older so it's understandable that there are some issues.

So far so good! Our move-in process was quick and easy, there was just a bit of miscommunication with the resident staff because I think a few people were out of office, but Crystal was able to help us get everything sorted!

I recently moved into this apartment and, in general, the experience has been quite positive. The place is modern, with good finishes and a functional distribution that makes good use of the space. Natural lighting is excellent during the day, and the ventilation system allows you to maintain a pleasant temperature without using a lot of air conditioning. One of the strengths is the tranquility of the neighborhood, ideal for resting after a long day. In addition, the building has 24-hour security and well-kept common areas. The kitchen and bathroom are well equipped, although the storage space might be a bit wider. In short, it is a comfortable, safe and well-located place, perfect for those looking for a balance between functionality and comfort.

Living at The Glen at Lake Wood has been a nightmare. I consistently emailed manager Crystal about ongoing issues—only to be either ignored, lied to, or threatened with legal action. Despite repeated promises to fix problems, my balcony door remains off track, making it nearly impossible to open. The washer and dryer have never been repaired or replaced, and a mold test I paid for came back positive, revealing hidden mold that seriously affects my health. Repairs, when they eventually happen, take 3-5 months rather than weeks. The parking situation is deplorable, and the management app blocks access to timely rent payments. Their blatant neglect and disrespect for tenants are unacceptable. I have video evidence and medical documentation to support my claims. Avoid this place at all costs. Endless emails were ignored, met with lies or legal threats. Every contact deepened my frustration. This abuse and delay reveal a blatant disregard for tenant rights and safety that is unacceptable.
Being more welcoming would improve a lot. I called about a charge 3 separate times and on the 4th call I was made to seem like I never made the request. Staff seemed very defensive

The Apartment looked good at move in with only minor issues with the apartment. We lived here 2 years ago for 4 years, and we love the location and the complex. The area looks awesome during the summer with the well taken care of lawns and trees.

Maintenance is slow, or will not fix your issues at all. Multiple issues since we moved in. Management staff is only nice until you sign a lease. Afterwards you are chopped liver and will receive an attitude if you question them. Constant vague threats through email about how they will break your lease

Very nice apartment, quiet place and neighbours. Accessible to all the places, and I love that there’s a dog park. There are dumpsites near the buildings. Overall I love the apartment.

I wanted to take the time and write this. I enjoy living in this community not only because of the area but also because of the management team. Not only are they very communicative but they are also very personable. I have not had to ask for maintenance more than once but the one time that I did, they were sure to service me immediately. My leasing agent Ms. Sophia is wonderful and a very sweet person, every interaction I have had with her has been delight! She definitely needs recognition as an agent and a person! Being here for the last 8 months has been a pleasure, I feel supported not only from the management team but as well as the community.
