Can’t get anything repaired and the place is always trashed. We’ve had trim falling off the building since I got here, I reported it, nothing happened. There is a shopping cart sitting in my stairwell for weeks, they are doing a repair on the sidewalk right beside it, yet they are too lazy to remove it, makes it look trashy. I put in an A/C request at the beginning of summer, still hasn’t even been looked at and summer is over now.
We have had the keys for 10 days and still don’t have working plumbing, washer/dryer, dishwasher, or oven/stove. There’s also wasps all over. We submitted work order and maintenance requests on day one and nothing has been resolved.

Move in process was easy, leasing agent was friendly and accommodating. I love that there are shops within the community. Haven't met any other tenants yet but appreciate the community aspect.

I've had a great experience living at Glen at Lakewood. The community is quiet, well-maintained, and the staff is always helpful and friendly. Maintenance requests are handled quickly, and I appreciate how clean the grounds are kept. I also feel safe here, which is very important to me. Overall, it’s been a comfortable and positive place to call home!
Have loved living here for 13.5 years. It has it's issues at times but so does every other complex and building. Crystal and Laurie and Sophia and Josie work hard to make sure issues get resolved. I look forward to my next 13.5 years here.
Everything is nice and well maintained, friendly community, just easier access to the pool would be nice. The people here are super sweet and they really helped us out with getting into an apartment!!
We just moved in and there are some issues to work out. But all in all, I am happy with the location and the service that we have received. Maintenance has been on top of our requests.

Management is kind and responsive, and maintenance is on top of work orders. However, the general apartment condition is dismal coming from Pittsburgh where we paid half the price for twice the quality. It's clear the painters couldn't have cared less - outlets, air vent levers, shower door track drainage holes, etc. were painted over. The apartment smelled like cigarettes when we moved in. The carpet clearly has never been replaced or professionally cleaned and there are paint drips on carpet throughout the unit. The shower and faucet hot water temperatures exceed CO Plumbing Code (idk how it passed inspection this month, supposedly) at 160 degrees F, and there are nuisance damages/wear-and-tear (e.g. loose electrical sockets, broken toilet seat fasteners, missing shower drain cover) all over. The balcony/deck flooring is a worn, uneven splinter hazard. Finally, AC systems this summer all over the complex are leaking and malfunctioning.

Management and leasing agents are incredibly rude and not helpful. They do not care about your safety or wellbeing. We waited for weeks for our AC to be fixed while getting no answers from the front office. I’m beyond frustrated with the way this situation has been handled. They have hung up the phone on me, ignored phone called, disregarded emails, and even threatened eviction.
My washer and dryer were broken for two months when I moved in and my AC still hasn’t been fixed and it’s 90° outside. The community washer and dryers are disgusting. The hot tub has been broken for who knows how long even though it was supposed to be fixed in the middle of May.
I love the apartment, but there are a few things that I think could be better, in order to give better stars. Parking could be better, the floors could be better, the amenities are good, but not great the apartments are older so it's understandable that there are some issues.

I recently moved into this apartment and, in general, the experience has been quite positive. The place is modern, with good finishes and a functional distribution that makes good use of the space. Natural lighting is excellent during the day, and the ventilation system allows you to maintain a pleasant temperature without using a lot of air conditioning. One of the strengths is the tranquility of the neighborhood, ideal for resting after a long day. In addition, the building has 24-hour security and well-kept common areas. The kitchen and bathroom are well equipped, although the storage space might be a bit wider. In short, it is a comfortable, safe and well-located place, perfect for those looking for a balance between functionality and comfort.

Living at The Glen at Lake Wood has been a nightmare. I consistently emailed manager Crystal about ongoing issues—only to be either ignored, lied to, or threatened with legal action. Despite repeated promises to fix problems, my balcony door remains off track, making it nearly impossible to open. The washer and dryer have never been repaired or replaced, and a mold test I paid for came back positive, revealing hidden mold that seriously affects my health. Repairs, when they eventually happen, take 3-5 months rather than weeks. The parking situation is deplorable, and the management app blocks access to timely rent payments. Their blatant neglect and disrespect for tenants are unacceptable. I have video evidence and medical documentation to support my claims. Avoid this place at all costs. Endless emails were ignored, met with lies or legal threats. Every contact deepened my frustration. This abuse and delay reveal a blatant disregard for tenant rights and safety that is unacceptable.
Being more welcoming would improve a lot. I called about a charge 3 separate times and on the 4th call I was made to seem like I never made the request. Staff seemed very defensive

The Apartment looked good at move in with only minor issues with the apartment. We lived here 2 years ago for 4 years, and we love the location and the complex. The area looks awesome during the summer with the well taken care of lawns and trees.

Maintenance is slow, or will not fix your issues at all. Multiple issues since we moved in. Management staff is only nice until you sign a lease. Afterwards you are chopped liver and will receive an attitude if you question them. Constant vague threats through email about how they will break your lease

The location is great, however maintenance sometimes takes a long time to address issues. Since moving in we've had a slew of issues. Some got addressed while others are still outstanding. It's not the managements fault or maintence's fault. It's an old apartment complex. Lots of deferred maintenance and ownership obviously is budget conscious.

Amazing, Community is nice, walks are peaceful ?? Very quite place to live, large apartments. Love the 24/7 & hot tub & the fact the manager allows it to stay open with the gym !

Easy to communicate with staff very friendly, and a beautiful apartment. I’ve never seen so much space in an apartment, and all of the space is used perfectly.

Been here since August and was promised a unit with a washer and dryer. Still don’t have one:( AC leaks and the heat has gone out twice now. But the price and size of the apartment semi makes up for it
So far living here has been nice. People are sweet. There are a lot of interesting dogs to watch. People coming and going for work. The parking lot is a little scary because people drive too fast.

My best guess is there are more residents than the management is equipped to handle. When we moved in, they had forgotten to clean our apartment and there were used cu-tips, dirt, and goo littering the apartment. Since then, I'm afraid things have only gotten worse. Despite paying for it and submitting multiple maintenance requests, we had no AC for 3 cumulative months at the hottest time of the year, and now our heat is not working. It is currently 52 degrees in our unit. I have spent countless hours fighting for basic services that were promised as a part of our lease. Save your money, time, sanity, and health, and avoid this place.
Unfortunately my experience has not been great ?? There were several items reported at move in that still have not been addressed. All of which were reported including pictures. I chose Glen at Lakewood for several reasons but in the top 5 were the washer and dryer. I told management that was not negotiable. My washer ceased to function on 9/30/2024 and despite my many attempts to encourage management to expedite I still don’t have my washer. I just keep getting passive email responses and no resolution. We pay an exorbitant amount in rent and fees. Where is the return on our tenant investment? Extremely disappointing and disheartening. Thank you.
This property needs work and is unpleasant to live in. The management company values new residents but doesn't value it's existing residents. There are many other nice places to leave in this area.

I love the location of the Glen at Lakewood. The pool is really nice in the summer time. I think it is amazing that the staff host leasing office parties for residents.

Maintance Work Order. I personally requested to be notified by text or phone call for a ETA or notification before entering my apartment. Maintenance entered my apartment WITHOUT notification. I was in the bathroom - not dressed. I had to lock my bathroom door. I cant believe they invaded my home WITHOUT A DAY AND TIME WINDOW, SO I COULD BE PREPARED FOR MAINTENANCE ENTERED MY HOME!!!!
We have the BEST neighbors! He saw us moving a sectional out of our apartment and offered to help us get it out so we could move a new sectional into our apartment. So nice and very much appreciated help!
Moving here was absolutely the best decision I have made this year!! Crystal and her staff made sure everything was perfect.. from the application process all the way till after my move in.. Crystal and her assistant even made sure they personally guided me and made me feel so comfortable.. the property is simply amazing and the amenities are to die for.. thank you Glen at Lakewood team!! It's a very nice place but it seems like there is a lot of maintenance to be done and it takes a few weeks for maintenance to come fix things.

Pro’s: Very spacious living room, master bedroom is good sized (2 bed/2 bath), new carpet in bedrooms, new lock on front door, nice layout overall. Con’s: Glue keeps seeping out from between the vinyl flooring planks in the kitchen, trash on the floor consisting of the old lock, quite a bit of screws in each room, and broken silverware as well as a glass pot pipe and one of the kitchen cabinet doors was painted shut. Master bath is pretty small, building 3 has seen better days.
