I’ve lived at Georgetowne for the last year, & recently decided to stay because staff is so great. They are kind, approachable, & helpful. It’s hard to find property managers you can actually trust. Hello Georgetown Apartments. This will be my seventh year here. And Mary Foote the manager is just amazing. She’s always there if you need anything at all with your apartment. Things get fixed very fast because they have amazing maintenance technicians. I couldn’t ask for a better home for my family.

They love adding fees. Want an insurance that's not their one specific company nope not allowed. Want to pay rent early? Nope unless you pay with a credit card and pay a $30 fee. I have had some maintenance and pest issues like ants in the washing machine fixed after a month. Ceiling above my showerhead buldging down and peiling. Several tickets were put in and only got tol oh its just condensation damage. So not fixed. The AC I thought went out last summer so after putting in a ticket find out the outter unit was covered in cotton wood seeds. So they didnt check or clean it before then and over $300 electric bills for the summer yay! Property manager has never talked to me nicely.

i have lived here for 6 years this years and I love it. Everyone in the office is amazing and they always help out at the blink of an eye, no questions asked. I wld def say to move here. grounds are nice and pools is refreshing!! Pet friendly as well!!!

I wish I could give no stars. We Have lived at George Town for almost 5 years...we will NOT be renewing our lease for many reasons. The rent keeps going up, but the lawns, apartments and buildings get more run down and dirty every year. My garage has been broken into 5 times and has cost me thousands of dollars in tools and other things that were stolen,The washers and dryers are always broken. All of the service guys suck and are lazy and do sloppy half ***** work. The redhair guy with the beard argues with us When we are trying to explain anything The last 2 times I have called in a Maintneance order they have come to my apartment and left adirty mess behind in my apartment and tracked in mud all over my carpet. And they are so rude !The dog bags are always empty and the dog poop containers never get emptied .The hallways are dirty, smelly and gross and We have stopped having friends or family over because Im embarrassed for them to see where I live. The roads always have huge holes and i have had damage to my truck twice because of that. The new “manager” is the biggest joke .. she is so rude and acts like shes doing us a favor by letting us live here. I have called so many times to try to talk to her because she has had our account screwed up her month saying she’s going to fix it.She tells me she will call me back and then she doesn’t so I will call her and then she acts like she doesn’t know who i am or what I’m talking about. I don’t believe a word that comes out of her mouth anymore she has lied to me so much. The last time i went in to the office to try to talk to her I had to wait and wait because she had somebody in her office and they were “chatting”, I wouldn’t have minded waiting for a few but it was soon clear they were not talking about business they were talking crap and gossiping about other people that live here . When I thought it was my turn to talk to her, someone else came in and went ahead of me and another long chat started. She Completely ignored me while I waited for 30minutes . By then I wAsfurious . Oh, and then she answered Her phone and took a personal call..again while I was waiting.Most unprofessional trashy “manager” I have ever seen. So yeah, we have nothing good to say about George Town at all. Its turned into a filthy dump and we will be gone in a few months

I will make this simple. Park you car in a Walmart parking lot and live in it and you will have a better life than living here. Unlike all other apartments, the staff here expect you to fix any work order request you may have. The entrance door in our hallway doesn't shut and the lights in the hall are out now too. This has been for couple months, called the office several times and emailed, but got ignored. I temporarily fixed the door with some tape, and now I am looking for a cheap technician to take a look at the lights. Due to the COVID, they want you to not go to the office and call instead, but you be luckiest man on earth if someone picks up your call. So, you are on your own and you are stuck- can't move out because you will have to pay two months of rent in penalty. Spider nests everywhere on the doors!!! They are not lying about "conveniently located" part, however. Plenty of entertainment, shopping, and dinning places near by, and not far from Doge and I-80.

We moved in July 2020 and have had a good experience overall. The office staff is very friendly and responsive throughout the process. The unit itself is very specious for us with plenty of closet space. The most important thing for us is how dog friendly they are, huge plus. I made service call and within a few minutes I got an email back to schedule the service. Everything is conveniently accessible through an app. The only downside is there is no smoking restrictions and the stairs along with the hallways get very smelly. The apartments are near many grocery stores and restaurants which is convenient.

Georgetowne Apartments are the best place I have ever lived. It is affordable, spacious, quiet, and the office and maintenance staff are top notch and take care of things as soon as I need anything!! I love it here! New management took over here 2 years ago and completely turned this place around. I have recommended 4 of my friends and family members and they also now live here.Best value in town hands down
We lived here for 6 months while looking for a home. We were lucky to be near tons of kids. My 4 year old son loved playing with the other kids outside and the neighbors were so amazing. There was one pool working at the time and it was fun to let the kids swim. The apartment was big and had great storage (we had the 2BD/2BA). I had a new kitchen and carpet that was very nice. The windows needed to be replaced but they are working on replacing them in all units. I was in a ground level unit that was a bit cold. I had read reviews about the water pipes making noise and it is true but it was nothing that would keep me up at night. The office staff and manager were very kind and helpful. I even paid my rent a few days late once and there was no issue. The gym is lacking in equipment but there were hardly any people there so I got to use the treadmill which was fine. I wish they had a jungle gym for toddlers and kids since there isn't a park near the complex. They do have a dog park which many people use. I would recommend the complex since it was nice for the price and I had a great experience living there.
Staff will just tell you what you want to hear then do nothing. ANY issue brought to their attention gets you the run around and no results. They offer discounts to get you to sign a lease then don't honor it. Personally, I've had a recurring issue, bring to staff's attention and they do nothing, as long as you pay your rent you can do whatever you want and they don't care.my lease isn't up, but I'm about to just pack up and move out.
Don't move here!!!!!! Working staff in leasing office are so horrible, cunning, selfish they should not be trusted, they play some mind games and if some thing goes wrong with house repairs then maintenance guys must be called for about 2-3 times to get It fixed. Horrible place with dog poop all around.
The apartment complex is reasonably priced. Some apartments have updated designs, which give a modern look, but this is not a complex with fancy architectural features, like tray ceilings and dark wood cupboards (hence the price, but we like it fine). We enjoy the 2 sparkling pools in the summer, which are well-maintained. Dogs are allowed, which is nice. I would recommend this complex to anyone looking for a place for pets with a lower price-point and a nice-looking apartment.
The staff here is very good, and they get problems taken care of fairly quickly. Also the rent is fairly reasonable and it's a good location for anything.
georetowne apartments are definitely reasonably priced. However, you get what you pay for. The maintenance is terrible!! They take days to come over regarding a call and weeks to fix it. We have had water dripping and mold for three weeks now and no one has come to fix things. Apartments are a little older but spacious. LOVE our walk in closet!! Overall, not a terrible place, as long as you don't have any issues in your apartment you'll love it!
