The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Georgetowne Homes
I literally cannot think of anything good to say about Georgetowne Homes. *They didn't return our security deposit for nearly 8 weeks (5 weeks past the legal limit). We called and left numerous messages (good luck getting them to answer the phone) and emails, which they barely replied to. We had to send them a notice about our legal rights before they finally sent it to us. (and they spelled my name wrong on the check) *In our initial walk-through, we noticed significant grime and dangerous things such as loose outlets. We also noted that our unit didn't have a privacy fence, despite being next to the playground. *When we brought this up to management, and told them that the "equivalent" unit we were shown did have that extra privacy, we were rudely dismissed. *The day after we moved in, we learned the clothes dryer made a banshee-like screech when running. We immediately told management. We continued to tell them for 3 MONTHS, and one day they told us "It says here we fixed it." It was NOT fixed and screeched for more months before they fixed it. *Cars constantly parked on both sides of the narrow street, making it difficult to drive (and kids would always play in the road) and "guest" parking was always full, so it was hard to invite anyone over. (+ Neighbors would park on our half of the driveway, blocking us from leaving). *Nothing was done about the dozens of potholes that developed during the winter and spring (they only started putting sand in them in the middle of summer.) Some potholes were a foot in diameter and 6 inches deep. We had to drive on the curb/sidewalk to avoid them. *Garage walls were so thin that when our neighbors smoked in their garage, it would fill our garage/front hallway. *Bad neighborhood- we had packages stolen in broad daylight. *When we didn't renew our lease, they tried to sneak in a carpet cleaning charge. Honestly, it really was a horrible experience. I strongly discourage anyone from *ever* renting from Georgetowne.
