Georgetown of Kettering

From start to finish we have had a great experience. The people that work in the leasing office are all wonderful, however we worked with Natasha the most and she is absolutely fabulous. Anytime I call or email with a question or concern she responds quickly, and makes sure that if it is a maintenance request it is taken care of in a timely manner. No place is perfect, however for the area, at this price point, it is everything we wanted and more. Also, the pool is AMAZING and the work out room is also nice. The complex is quiet and it gives off a nice park setting which i really enjoy. All of the people that I have met so far are very nice. I will say that we have one of the french apartments (which are beautiful and have different floor plan options) but we also looked at several townhouses and liked them as well. Last but not least, and most importantly, it feels like home. My husband and I have always been adamant that our place of residence truly feels like home, and not just to us but to our family and friends as well. We owned a house for many years further north, and decided to try something different once we became “empty nesters) and we are glad that ww did! ?? Thank you Georgetown team for being so welcoming!

I have lived at the Georgetown of Kettering apartments for almost a decade now, sounds strange to say out loud however I am very thankful for this place!! it's an excellent location near where I work and the staff members are always willing to help and assist in any way they can. Maintenance staff is friendly and helpful, renewed my lease for another year and I'm sure it'll be more of the same! They just added some new lights to all of the properties to help with the aesthetic, I'm excited to see what else they may do this year and I'm definitely excited for the pool!! Hopefully there will be no other apartments I have to go to and right after this I can move into a house or condo or at least that's the plan! Thanks Georgetown and staff for keeping us all happy!

Horrible I moved in less than a week came home and my ceiling was about to collapse on the floor. Leasing lady said it wasn’t an emergency when it was water leaking from upstairs into my apartment by the morning. My whole ceiling was on the floor. This is day two and I still have no ceiling in my living room. Very nice people but wouldn’t recommend at all nice place but let it foul you

Not at all what they portray. Apartment was not cleaned at all. Wouldn’t allow a tour until two days before move in, and even pushed back my move in day. Closets were detached, dishwasher and sink had gunk in it, stains all over the closets and walls, water on the floors, balcony was rotting and hand rail was not properly attached, door hard ware and light switches are painted over, and so much more. Wish I could attach photo proof of this. Absolutely mortified by my experience, and told “what did you expect? it to be updated?” Spent over 2k trying to secure this place just to withdraw my application.

I just moved here and so far I like it. The apartment it’s spacious. My only thing is the parking but other then that I enjoy been here it’s a quiet neighborhood. ??

I just recently moved to the Georgetown of Kettering neighborhood and I love it. The apartment is cozy and spacious and the neighborhood is quiet. My work orders are taken care of in a timely manner and I have had very little issues. The upgrades the new management is making are great and the bi weekly food trucks are a treat!

Do not move here they have mice and do not seem to care! I have gone to my sons apartment and we have caught 3 in traps in less than a week! I along with him have tried to contact the office and either they do not respond or they blow us off. This is just ridiculous for the amount of money that they charge for rent to not take care of this issue. I would only suggest moving here if you are ok with a few mice running around your apartment.

We have lived here for almost a year and it’s been horrible the entire time! First off the apartments look NOTHING like what they advertise here! We were promised new appliances and new countertops and cabinets. All of our appliances are at least 20-30 years old. Our refrigerator door was broken before we even moved in, they didn't clean behind the stove or beside the refrigerator. Our bathtub wouldn’t drain, we got it “fixed” and then it happened again and its been a week since we called to complain and they STILL haven’t done anything about it. The neighborhood kids are always out in the road on bikes with no supervision of parents (one even got hit by a car, but he is okay). This place is just absolutely ridiculous. I would never recommend this place.

The stay here is fine but we pay too much money for stuff not to work. Especially the heat and air. It's not even that hot yet and we're already borderline having heat strokes because the air is blowing hot air any time they come to "fix it". They did not clean the floor before we moved in... which we cleaned ourselves and overlooked. But the lack of salting of sidewalks, lack of cleaning the parking lot, lack of parking moderation, lack of efficient maintenance. This is my first apartment and already a horrible experience. moving out the first opportunity we get. Dont get me wrong. Everyone is nice and friendly and it's a quiet complex with great location. But the unit we're in since they didnt have thus stuff checked ruined it for.me

Got off to a rough start with the prior management company as the apartment wasn't ready at the designated move-in time and some maintenance wasn't completed until more than 6 months after I moved in. Since they switched to a new company and new maintenance crew, things have been much better.

Been here coming up on three months, the place is pretty fantastic. Great leasing staff, great maintenance staff, very good value for what you get, nice quiet setting, low utilities so far. Definitely recommend checking this place out :)

Moved here in November and management and staff have been attentive and helpful. The unit is clean and very comfortable. I absolutely love it here. The view from my windows overlook the woods in back, my appliances work really well, there is plenty of storage ( and I moved in with a lot) Great place to live all the way around.

I have never been treated so poorly by an office staff in all of my life and I’ve rented places all over the US. For the price and the hassle, look someplace else. The units are old and are not well-maintained. I moved into an apartment by the green that is cheaper and is so much nicer - plus the office staff isn’t incompetent.

The new management is horrible. They are impossible to communicate with and are very slow to make repairs - which are needed because the units are OLD. Termite traps everywhere, moldy smelling homes, paper-thin walls, and no real updates - do not let the new marketing and model home fool you. Living here was a giant mistake that I had to deal with for a year. Could not get out fast enough. Don’t make the same mistakes I did.

These apartments are great! On premises pool and exercise room. All the staff is friendly. Couldn't ask for any better.

Administration is uncooperative and does not serves population, old and bad building, office deal with population is bad, water outages permanently and water is dirty especially hot water. Also, Poorly maintained, and when you are wanted for repair They come after a long period of more than three weeks in order to only detect, and repair is elusive. Do not be deceived by the advice By treating starters, you will discover bad after you living Frankly, after the receipt of the new company, services from bad to worse. I'm here more than two years and I predicted it would give the company better than the previous, but were surprised of ill-treatment. Previous company has shortcomings, but it was working to fix the problems, but this company is very bad in all respects.

I wrote this review after my suffering with the new company. I lived in these apartments from the beginning of 2015, the old housing, but they were excellent maintenance, they have some shortcomings, but were good. But took it at the beginning of 2016 they started a new company for repair, but did not care apartments and population services. We see garbage piled in a heap and is not to be removed after the departure of the smell. Also did not pay attention to the external appearance. I'll tell you a number of stories, the previous company had cut the grass periodically leaves and cleaned on a regular basis and even if it's in the home garden, but the new company does not care about that and when I went to tell them, an official said to me, "cut the grass from your responsibilities and is not our responsibility and we are not the company's previous. Also my friend has a laundry room inside the apartment where the washer and dryer and this is part of the monthly rent, and occurred washer some problems and when my friend told the last company, and the company replaced it with a new one, and with this new company I've smelled like a fire in the laundry room and told the office was attended after 5 weeks of their news, and they said the problem of the washing machine, and when I went to them in order to fix it they said, "this is not our responsibility these from your responsibilities." In addition, the company's previous, and when there is any problem you have in the air conditioners provide you a replacement until the repair of air conditioning or replaced, the new company and told them the problem of air conditioning comes the employee in charge only after weeks of examination and wait for more weeks for repair and without alternative or provide borne by you. Frankly, this company renovated the apartments, but their maintenance is very, very bad. I think renting a small house is better than living with this company. The house is less than the price of the lease and what you do in your own home maintenance, you will do with this company and the highest price. With this company you pay rent and pay for trash and cut the grass and maintenance work on your own, so what's the difference between them and seeks refuge with the house?

Since our last review, things have changed at Georgetown. Previous management began not responding to questions or problems and maintenance issues. We almost left but a new management company was brought in and we decided to give them a chance. We are so glad we did! Things are back to being good again and mainly because of Lisa. She cares for the residents and is very polite to everyone. It is such a difference having her in the office. We don't have a problem with going to the office if there is a problem. She takes care of getting things done! If it weren't for Lisa, we would have left Georgetown. Keep up the good work Lisa!

Busted pipes, flooding in unit, bug infestations, sidewalks dangerous and steps crumbling. Balconies collapsing, mud fields everywhere, uncaring, mean, rude staff. Deplorable. They take advantage of you every chance and you will never see reimbursement from THEIR damage.

Don't be fooled by cheap prices. Ant infestations, burst pipes which ruined carpet and furniture. NO reimbursement. Carpet ruined and smelled from then on. Holes in ceiling and walls. Wasp nest outside front door. NOTHING fixed properly. Only "band-aids" if that. Management rude, does not care. It's completely disgusting.

These apartments are fairly nice. No major issues. If you come across any apartment issues they are really quick to get some one out to fix it. The parking is a bit overcrowded which sometimes forces you to park away from the front of your location. Neighbors have also been great. I would recommend!

Within 15 minutes of most places, pretty quite, relaxing atmosphere. George Town of Kettering is a good apartment complex. It's in a great location within Kettering and has a very nice secluded feeling while still being in the city. It has a bit of a classic and Homie feel with a modern interior in some. Some apartments still need to be updated but that is in the works. The only 2 annoyances are neighbors seem to be hit or miss, some aren't bad but some can be a bit annoying. The other annoyance is if it is a unit that still needs updating, some things could use repairs but they seem to be good about getting It taken care of quick. All and all I would recommend moving in, it's a pretty great complex.

Just moved in, but they put brand new appliances, cleaned, replaced the carpet, and made it very presentable when moving in. Staff is extremely friendly, and it's a very nice neighborhood. Extremely easy move in process, all and all very satisfied!

Not well insulated can hear neighbors movement in a joining apartments. Nice pool work out equipment room seems to be aways locked up. Always hot up stairs in summer. Have to run your own cable outlets do not work. Constant pounding from having to replace rotting decks. Some places feel like there are holes in floor under new carpet. Water goes out or runs orange at times.
