I have been living in these apartments for about a year now and ever since we have been dealing with tons of mold , we have given multiple chances to solve the issue and we get told we are not ventilating properly, sorry excuse for an apartment complex. We have kids and they act as if they don’t care. PATHETIC.

In my first few days living at Garrett West, everyone in the leasing office was extremely welcoming and helpful as I got settled. The apartment was clean, and the very few things I needed to be fixed were done the next day. The property is beautiful, and I am so glad I made the choice to move in!

My experience with Garrett West has been great from the beginning. I needed to rent an apartment from out of town without visiting first, and Dejaye was incredibly communicative and helpful with getting my application processed and my unit secured. Move in was quick, easy, and smooth. I was very happy with the condition of the apartment, and a few days in when I noticed two very small problems, they were fixed painlessly within hours of submitting a service request. In my time here so far, the apartment has met all my needs, the amenities have been convenient, and the neighbors and staff have been enjoyable to interact with. My unit is on the back circle, and the view into the woods from my screened in balcony is another surprise perk. I also love the location - a quick drive to Duke, any store or restaurant I could want, but still quiet with options to run in nearby neighborhoods and trails. So far, I couldn't recommend this apartment more.

I am always impressed as I drive into our complex. It always looks so fresh and well groomed, maybe like your home you moved from as we move to a new stage in our life. As a senior, it is so nice not having to worry about maintenance in or out. No need to cook with a variety of restaurants, drive thru or delivery. Great selection of neighbors from babies to seniors. Best move you will make.

Officers are really nice and very patient when helping me check in. The apartment looks new and clean, I love the bathtub and the balcony outside. Maybe I will sign the lease for whole 2 years here.

One important asset of living at Garrett West is that it is quiet and peaceful. I live beside the pool and I have to come outside to hear. The children are playing as are the adults but you hear nothing inside . The buildings are very sound proof. You do not hear people in the upper floors even though it is all wooden floors. No car traffic even though the highway is a short distance away. It is convenient to good restaurants and shopping and Post Office Love my new home!

This move-in experience was very new to me and I’ve heard horror stories from family and friends but Not here at Garrett West everything was easy and perfected planned out and in place prior to my arrival. The staff were excellent in answering my questions anytime I had one even after I applied and prior to my move in. Shawniecy and Dejaye remained courteous, friendly, and helpful the entire time and still has been. I forgot the office mangers name but she is also very friendly and easy to communicate with. This has been the best experience ever

I have been here for a year and have found peace and tranquility in my new home. It is quiet and beautifully maintained. I do not even hear the pool when occupied and it is right at my bedroom. Great lighting at night for walking and safety issues and security is right here for concerns. Great choice for shopping and restaurants.

Garrett west is a beautiful property to be 12yrs old. Love the amenities and friendly office staff. I was a little late for my tour but dejaye made sure I was satisfied, he answered all of my questions and concerns. I was so shocked when I saw the apartment model and that it could fit a California king size bed, thanks again dejaye the tour was great.

Had a tour at 12:30 which I didn't realize I was at the wrong place lol but Dejaye is very knowledgeable and helpful person made me very comfortable even though I was at the wrong place. He asked if I would like to tour I said yes and im glad I did love the amenities and the apartments are beautiful and spacious think ?? I may be choosing Garrett west instead thank you so much Dejaye. Dejaye is the best person to help you out even if your at the wrong place lol ??

Hands down the best community I have ever seen. The staff is incredible, super friendly, and over the top helpful. The amenities are gorgeous and the apartments are comfortable and stylish. I really can’t say enough good things about the community or the people that run it. If you’re looking for a place to live in a Durham-Chapel Hill or even just a temporary stay - you should go see Garrett west apartments.

Garrett West is a great apartment community! I've lived here for over 5 years and have been consistently pleased with the staff, maintenance and amenities. Great pool! Nice grounds and landscaping! Valet trash! You should check it out.

Just yesterday, I was speaking to my nurse and she asled me how I like my new apartment. I told her it was the best thing I could have done. The community is beautifully maintained regularly, no loud noises, apartment is very quiet. Lots ao amenities and I feel safe and proud of my home. Never living in an apartment before, I was unsure if I had made a good decision., but being here a very short time, all my fears were for nought.

You get what you pay for here. Cars speed. Parking is difficult to find after 5pm. AC isnt working to standard. Dryer doesnt properly dry clothes, needs 2-3 rounds to fully dry clothes
