    I continue to be satisfied with my Resident Experience at ReNew Waltham. I like and appreciate the cosmetic updates such as the addition of bike racks and the black paint job for the porches, entrances and balconies of the buildings. I also appreciate how there is an effort to communicate upcoming events and occurrences on the property. I like the fact that convenient shelves have been added to the laundry areas and was very pleased to see braille signage added to the public areas in the buildings. Finally, though I wasn't affected by it, I appreciate that, during the recent parking area updates, resident cars with stickers were not summarily towed off the property but rather moved to a different area on the property. This saved those residents affected the cost and inconvenience of recovering their automobiles.

    The apartment itself is beautiful. The community is ok. Unfortunately, right after we moved in, one of our packages was delivered to the building but was stolen. There was no way for me to retrieve the stolen package. It was for a small amount, so I let it go but am now worried about bigger deliveries. The leasing office gave me an option to send deliveries to them directly but it is difficult since the delivery window needs to constantly be adjusted. I continue to hope that neighbors do not take what is not theirs. I understand times are tough but stealing other peoples' deliveries is a first for me.

    i have lived here for so many years, the condition of the property is deplorable, we had beautiful grass for years and years, now we have dirt. the removal of chairs from the back yard, where people could get fresh air and enjoy the outdoors is terrible. my husband reads outside every day, we take care of our area. the fact that it was allowed to reach this stage is awful. thank God my children are grown and gone from here. they had a wonderful childhood playing with friends outsside. now? nothing....it is sad to see this my apartment is so old and no one will bother to even address it. i have asked, bathroom mirrors are awful. I could go on and on. it is sad that this has been allowed to happen

    The walls were painted and it looked like the carpet was new, so the first impression was good. But once I turned on the bedroom AC, a lot of dirt started flying out nonstop. The kitchen cabinets were filthy, water-damaged, and sticky—same with the bathroom ones. If I had known it would be this dirty, I would’ve planned things differently.

    Still satisfied with my experience at ReNew Waltham. I recently put in a maintenance request and was particularly impressed with the convenience and ease of use of the portal to lodge the request. The response time and successful completion of the request was equally impressive and the workmen were friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. There is still the periodic issue of noise around my apartment during off hours but, I expect it, to an extent, in community leaving.

    I enjoy living at Renew Apartments in Waltham, MA. The property is older, but it has its charm and feels pleasant overall. One of my favorite aspects is the geese around the area—they add character, even though they can make a mess at times. The community is peaceful, but it feels a bit too private. While I appreciate the calm atmosphere, there’s very little opportunity to meet and connect with neighbors, which is unfortunate. The management office has become quite busy lately, so stopping by for assistance can be challenging. On the positive side, the location is convenient for students as it’s close to the university. However, it’s a bit too far from major shopping areas, which can be inconvenient. The closest options are a Dunkin’, a CVS, and a pet store—not very practical for everyday needs. A nearby supermarket would definitely be a welcome addition.

    I've been living in this complex for years now. The bathroom always has mold because there is no heat. Roaches and mice are everywhere. The appliances have been there for years. Some of them don't work and they don't want to change them. But, the biggest issue is parking. People come from other places park their cars anytime they want. It's not fair for people who pay for parking permit but still can't find parking spot after a long day of work, because a bunch of people park without sticker or expired stickers. Some of them don't even live there. How come an apartment has more than one car, yet all of them manage to park in the parking lot despite the one sticker per apartment rule. The rule must be apply to everyone, not some.

    I've been living in this complex for almost 6 years. There's no heat in the bathroom and it causes a lot of mold. I had to buy a small heater. Maintenance is good. But my biggest problem is parking. I've been bringing up my grievances for years about it. Now with Renew, nothing has really changed. I know the new manager is trying her best, but it's not fair for people who pay for parking permit but still can't find parking spot after a long day of work, because a bunch of people park without sticker or expired sticker. People who don't even leave there. And it's frustrating. Garden lane area is the worst. How come an apartment has 2-3 cars, yet all of them manage to park in the parking lot despite the one sticker per aparentmenr rule. The rules must be appIy to everyone, not some. I hope the new management will be able to fix this issue.

    Longtime resident of this property - more than 10 years. I've lived both in the regular apartments and in a townhouse. Some thoughts: * Location is amazing! Near bus stops, MBTA, rail trail, self-storage, highways, downtown * It's expensive and rents never stop increasing BUT you get a lot for the money (square footage, amenities) * Dogs/cats allowed! This is awesome * Staff speaks both english and spanish * Some long-term maintenance concerns (older buildings/windows/bathrooms, some appliance issues like laundry machines) but staff is helpful especially for small problems * New ownership brought a really great resident portal * Decent parking. Guest parking allowed but costs extra * Relatively new swimming pool you can use with a pass * Fitness center is small and doesn't have a lot of equipment but it's more convenient than a gym * Outdoor lighting is generally good at night. Grounds are mostly clean and maintained * Occasional pest issues, but they're addressed quickly

    I can’t believe that you have to pay $10.00 for a blind that goes in front of your sliding glass door. I thought everything was included to be fix for free when things go wrong/broken in your apartment. I’ve been here going on 7 years and the few times I had to replace them I never had to pay.

    The facilities are not bad. It is a very old building but it is well maintained, for most parts. We need to occasionally call in maintenance, the office staff are friendly. Without WiFi we may suffer loss of mobile signals inside the building. It tends to take a lot of time for the apartment to heat up though. The rent is quite steep though.

    Overall the experience has been average. There have been some issues early on with random people sleeping in hallways, since been resolved. The quick action for maintenance tickets has been very nice to have. Not a fan of $5 to complete a load of laundry, and the fact that I can only add money to my laundry card during leasing office hours. Apartment itself is nice with no complaints besides occasional mice.
