Property Ratings at Gables Ponce
They switched our apartment and put us overlooking the metro, its loud. Apartment was dirty on move in. Front office staff were generally unhelpful and uncaring. Our move in inspection noted numerous items. They still kept our deposit, even though we noted everything on the move in report. Found a nicer, cleaner and quieter apartment nearby for less. Now that Im in a nicer apartment, I see how bad this place was. They would also turn off the water every month. Always getting emails about turning things off.
Gables Ponce is a great location, with a peaceful atmosphere, and lovely staff. If you're looking to be in the Coral Gables area without being too close to the constant movement, Gables Ponce is a great option. The staff is incredibly welcoming, kind, and very attentive, which was extremely important for me.
It’s great here. Great amenities. Staff is nice, repairs are done promptly. I just wish they had guest parking and that residents would pick up after their dogs in the parking garage
Amenities are very nice and the apartments are gorgeous. Maintenance is usually super quick too. Front desk is okay. There is a lot of cute events Gables Ponce hosts like breakfast, food trucks, etc. the elevators are annoying but besides that I love living here.
Too expensive for a 1/1. Good potential and location...not well managed unfortunately. The elevator keep not working. I stayed one year and they increase my rent of 1000$ to stay other 13 months.
I've been living at Gables Ponce for 3 years. The complex offers great amenities such as the gym, 2 pools and spa. The entire place is immaculate. The staff are responsive and friendly. Its conveniently located minutes from downtown Coral Gables and adjacent to Merrick Park shopping. What's not to love?
I would recommend Gables Ponce to whom ever appreciate a great staff from Administration..Belma,Indira ,Tiffany and the concierge staff that are always are ready to help in any situation. As well the maintenance staff such as Gaby Assistant maintenance and Rafael Maintenance Manager have always been helpful and go above and beyond. Property full of amenaties that make you feel like your living in the Ritz.
A great place to live. The pool and gym are great. Close to everything. Just one minor detail: sometimes wifi in community spaces does not work.
Building is nice on the outside but not very pretty on the inside… hallways smell weirdly like cigarettes and chemicals on certain floors. Rent continues to climb and I will be moving out as it is very overpriced for the relatively outdated interior. However I will say the amenities (specifically the pool) are well maintained.
I have lived here for years, it is a very well located building, just a few minutes from everything, that is very convenient! They also just painted the entire front
I love living here. Even though the majority of residents are students I find it peaceful. The staff is super nice and helpful. The only downside for me is that there’s no free parking for visitors, it’s metered.

Maintenance is responsive, the property is very well-maintained (love the recent paint job!) People are very friendly and respectful of everyone's happiness and personal space. Location of property next to the train, Merrick Mall and the Gables Trolley makes life really convenient.
I love living here and in the area, and there’s a lot of holes in communication from management and in the upkeep of amenities. There are no longer any cushions on the pool side long chairs, no handles on the showers and zero communication around this.
The apt building is nice but a lot to improve. Recently there is a strong trash small everywhere. The price of the apartment is very high. The swimming is nice.
Living here feels safe! Although the apartment wasn't in perfect conditions when they first gave it to me, they managed to fix it and its pretty. The amenities are really nice and its very close to the University of Miami...
Starting with a seamless, efficient move-in, life at Gables Ponce has been great! The neighborhood is really nice and safe. Nearby restaurants provide many choices. Overall, a positive experience.

I have been a resident for about one month. Belma in the leasing office was amazing and delivered what she promised. The cleaning staff keeps the hallways and other common areas spotless and the maintenance team is quick to respond to any issues.

I just moved in and have had a very divided experience. The apartment is great, quiet, and I love the location. However, there were a lot of broken things when I got here, including the dishwasher and dryer. The dishwasher is still broken, but they came to repair the dryer very quickly. The apartment was also not cleaned before I moved in; however, they did have a company come clean later. I wish the apartment was actually move in ready; however, when it is all fixed up it will be great.
Gables ponce has been a dream come true. from my first tour of the property the staff has made me feel at home. moving in from a different city, there were obvious jitters. Belma and her team assured me that everything would be ok

Beautiful building. Lots of amenities, however they are closed or being worked on a lot during our first month of moving in. Apartment is beautiful, however missing above head light fixtures in the bedrooms
I love living at Gables Ponce! Amenities are amazing and staff is super helpful. Maintenence has never taken more than a day to solve any of our issues and are super respectful of your space! Highly recommend
Nice apartment building with a lot to offer. The staff and faculty are very kind, nice and very friendly. Overall it is a very nice building. The pool is very nice. As well as the spa room is very nice. There is a nice steam room and sauna.
It could have been a 5 star condo if it wasn't for the noise from the trains and the old carpets in the rooms; nevertheless, the community and the amenities are fantastic.
Our experience has been great! The property ans top notch and very well maintained. Our move in went very well and the staff, especially Belma, has been great to work with and very helpful!

Gables pomce is a good place to stay so far. The stuff is good but the main management in Texas is not. I have to admit thatRafael (head of service) and Indira ( lease manager) has been really good all the time. But the appliances are 10yrs old and need to be changed. Also the rooms still have the carpet… a new tile floor would be much more effective. Anyways 4 stars are deserved as I ve seen other building that are in a very bad shape
Everything is great except for the Metro train that sounds like it is running through the apartment from 4am to 1am ( 23 hours of the day). The doors are not properly sealed for sound.
The community is nice. Amenities are in general ok but coral gables is getting very expensive. Cleaning in the hall and elevator should be done more often because unfortunately some renters don't know the basic rules of keeping common areas clean.
The staff are great and helpful. The building is beautiful. But it could be better. The sauna and steam room are always broken and the visitor parking isn’t great. I do like that you are walking distance from some shops and restaurants. US1 is also across the street.
Great building with amazing staff. Everything from touring the building to singing my lease was a breeze!!! Would 100% suggest you look into Modera!!
Gables Ponce is a great place to live. I would recommend it for anyone! Super nice pools and a gym with lots of equipment (also separate spin/stretch room).
The west building is right next to the Metro train tracks and you will hear that thing coming by at all hours of the night. Apartment itself is okay, not very much natural lighting if you’re on a corner spot.
Great place to live at. Staff is friendly and maintenance issues are resolved relatively quickly. Halls are usually very clean. Only downsides are that you can hear plenty of neighboring bonuses inside the apartment, and there is no recycling on the residential floors.

Having a great experience, the gym is excellent, the pools are great, and the leasing office always helps when needed. The fob situation can be confusing since it is in the process of being updated but it’s still efficient
