I've been here for 4.5 months, and I am beyond impressed with this community. From personable and attentive front office and leasing staff like Diana and Theresa to excellent, responsive maintenance--truly they do it best. I'm glad to be a resident. Consider Gables!
One of the best experiences! I will always cherish this place. So many beautiful memories. Plus, everything is always so clean, nice staff, beautiful amenities, cozy luxury vibes, and a great location!!
The staff is friendly and the amenities are really nice. The front desk staff are temps though so they always turnover every month or so. The gym equipment never had preventative maintenance done so when it does fall apart it takes management months to get it fixed
I have loved my experience, my renewal wasn't that bad, I do wish we had more events and a coffee bar. I do not plan on moving anywhere else, I am happy and settled.
The front desk staff are attentive and kind, and the amenities are excellent. Location is central to a lot. There’s some fine print in the contract that creates added utility fees though.
I compared over 10 apartment buildings in the area and chose Gables for the very friendly staff, well laid out apartments and awesome amenities. I feel safe here and also like that the neighborhood is a little more tucked away and a running path right behind the building. I've only lived here for 1 month, but so far, I really enjoy living here.
negatives: emails to the office are not being answered; aircraft noise and adjacent apartments impact noise is an ongoing issue; garage power wash still has not occurred; zero resident events in the past several months; the common areas closing at 10pm...
great location and i love my terrace huge patio in the back. the metro is very close by and there is parking surrounding the building on all sides
Nicest apartment I’ve ever lived in. Amazing amenities, great views from the rooftop, secure elevators and doors, and perfect location in Virginia.
We love it here! The amenities are beautiful to host a small get together with family/friends. The gym is nice and clean, the courtyard has grills, tables and chairs, the apartment is modernized. The only thing missing is a playground for children. There is a small play area but it would have been nice if there were some slides or swings. BUT that is just a small thing. We can live without it here since the location is close to everything, we can always just go somewhere for the kids to play.
We Love our Gables point 14 community! Amenities are superb & the Location is very convenient for the city & for the suburbs as well. Security in place makes it a safe place to call home.
I’m comfortable in apartment , it is small but I have everything a hand . There are no annoying neighbors. I enjoy all entertainment services. Although it’s been a short time . I feel calm and comfortable.
I love living at Gables, with the amenities you truly feel as if you’re getting the most out of your money. However recently there have multiple different concierges and not all of them are the most attentive/amicable. On top of this there has been a lot of confusion as to when the amenities close. I was told they by management when touring that amenities are open from 7am-11pm however there have been times where I have been told that 10pm is the closing time. Other residents are also under the impression that 11pm is when amenities close; there needs to be better communication from management.
Very nice place to live. Gym is a very comfortable setting to workout in. The staff is amazing and very accommodating. Probably one of the best apartments I've ever lived in.
I appreciate this building and it’s amenities. Maintenance can be lacking at times, and sometimes the front desk has no clue how to do things. For example one of the elevators has been out for two weeks and the front desk will forget to unlock the freight elevator, leaving us with only two elevators for however many people live here
I’ve had a great experience living at Gables Pointe 14 for three years now going on four. The amenities are great, and apartments are set up in a way that lets you maximize every square inch. The staff is also extremely attentive and supportive.

I love this place! Staff is very friendly, apartments are so nice, and amenities are amazing. I first signed a lease for 10 months and then renewed it for another 15 months, definitely worth it.
In general things are great. It’s the little things that make me take off a star. For example when the gym equipment breaks it takes months to get it fixed. I ended up buying my own silicon spray for my gym bag for the smith machine because I learned not to trust management to do it in a timely manner Otherwise it’s a clean nice place
All the staffs are friedly, kindful and respectful. It was easy for us to move in. Also, amenities are wonderful! However, I was disappointed that there were some confusion in concluding lease agreements and room cleaning had not been completed.
I love it here! It really feels like a community that is accepting:) We love the views and the modern feel of the whole space. As well as the amazing rooftop!

Concierge is usually rude (annoyed when asked for packages) and doesn’t handle packages with care (not putting perishable packages in the fridge). During the summer the hallways and common areas are hot and humid.
Going onto my fourth year here. I can’t speak more highly of the maintenance team. My only complaint would be the noise at times, but other than that, all has been great
Great building with great amenities, helpful staff, and great living experience. Apartments are modern and look new; and the building itself offers a lot of great things (pool, a bike room, lounge areas, game rooms) so you feel like you get your moneys worth.

We have been loving living here. It’s safe, comfortable, clean, and we love the amenities! If this place had a sauna I’d never leave! The pool is clean and we love hanging in the movie theatre.

1. The parking garage power wash is long overdue. 2. Email communication and responsiveness need to improve. 3. Noise control needs to be emphasized more often. 4. What happened to a hammock in the courtyard? 5. The quantity and quality of the community events are below expectations.
Place is beautiful, and generally peaceful throughout the day. Management does attempt to make things right but the place is by no means perfect. They cut corners a lot when it comes to quality of the apartment, example: lights go out often, doors are very light and low quality, sink pressure is subpar, etc.
We renewed for a 3rd year. The building is well kept and the maintenance team is very responsive. The location could be a better as we are right next to the highway and about a 10 minute walk from most things, including the metro.
I am really happy that we found Gables Point 14 with my husband. We moved from Colorado and it was pretty challenging to find a good spot that we both liked, with all the amenities that we were looking for, that didnt charge crazy amount for rent, so when we came across this building we were exited. We've been here for a few months now and I have nothing to complain about this building. loving it
Amenities and the apartment in general have been amazing. Making it an amazing stay. I would highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone who is looking in the area.
I love the building and it’s amenities. It could do a lot in terms of resident appreciation and management responsiveness. These are things that can be fixed, I just wish they showed drive to fix them.
Gables has met all my needs whether it's a maintenance request, an inquiry with staff, or package deliveries. I have noticed front desk staff becoming less willing to engage with residents, as the only immediate way we can feel heard or give care to our living environment is through the staff we see. Just having general awareness of changes to our surrounding helps feeling more like home.
Units are very small, management and concierge are hard to get a hold of, and there’s a lot of children. It’s also not that close the metro. The building is pretty though.
My resident experience has been ok so far but could have been better. Some of the negative factors: 1. Impact noise from the apartment below. 2. Aircraft and loud muffler car noise. 3. There have been instances of homeless people entering the common spaces. 4. The garage power wash is overdue. 5. There are a few rude people residing here. 6. The community events hosted should be better for a luxury community such as ours.

Slight initial hiccups with parking and a missing package but otherwise very smooth moving process. Staff and neighbors are very friendly. It’s a relatively a peaceful, respectful community which I’m happy to call home.

The apartment is so close to DC and other surrounding attractions. All of the staff are really nice and it’s great having 24/7 concierge access.
I have been living at Gables Pointe 14 for 2 years and absolutely love it! The location is great, it's close enough to all the bars and restaurants in Clarendon but it is a very quite and peaceful neighborhood. It's pet friendly, which is a big plus. I think the gym is great, it's big and has everything you need, so I even cancelled my regular gym membership. Overall, I think it's a great place to live, I haven't had major any issues and the leasing office staff have always been helpful.
Have loved living here for the past 3 years! Residents and employees are all great! The location is perfect and there’s so many walkable places!
