The staff is amazing! These are nice apartments in a nice area. They are a little bit older and that brings some issues, but the maintenance and office staff are always friendly and quick to respond to issues. Forty55 Lofts is the worst apartment building in Los Angeles! Management is horrible and there is no onsite maintenance personnel. Management consistently lies which is a huge red flag. The building is falling apartment literally with structural problems, serious formaldehyde issues, mold issues, robberies on property and the management office has had five different managers in less than two years. Clearly, there are HUGE problems at this building. I would not recommend this property under any circumstances.

Raphael was a big reason I wanted to move here! I was shocked how many community managers were not friendly on previous tours of other properties. Raphael showed extreme professionalism and was very welcoming. I could see he was very proud of the community and made it that much easier to move here! Clearly it's a wonderful place to live and the enthusiasm from the staff did not go unnoticed. I loved how clean the apartment was when I moved in and the new appliances. The amenities are excellent and the neighbors are all very respectful and friendly.

Multiple thefts, massive additional costs, look elsewhere

Be careful renting here and Greystar in general. Multiple vehicles stolen. My apartment was robber on multiple occasions. And I’m not the only one. Useless security. Have attempted to charge for things like shower re-grouting, “double cleaning”, painting cabinets (which are junk btw), in fact $1000 to paint white walls that were fine upon move out. The on-site management is truly fantastic. It’s a shame about the parent corp. I strongly recommend you look elsewhere.

I love living at Forty55. The staff are friendly and welcoming and all of my neighbors create a great community. It is quiet and peaceful and the pool has been great for teaching my son to swim. Maggie and Kaela run a great team and I would highly recommend living here.

This is a great community to live in - very safe. And although we have excellent outdoor amenities here, they have not been open for usage for much of the pandemic.

4055 Lofts is the best home I could hope to find. I leased an apartment here after falling in love during an extended stay with a friend. As my family relocated from New York, I could not hope for a better team on site to assist, a more convenient location, safety procedures and amenities. I highly recommend 4055 Lofts as a home!
