The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Fieldstone Apartments
Wasn't told smoking was allowed when I moved, entire apartment smelled like cigarette smoke which is horrible for a non-smoker. Kitchen is very, very small; but, other room sizes are good. Everything is outdated/old for the money they charged.
Very well run complex. Angela makes sure everyone follows the very clear and very reasonable rules. Apartment living can be challenging if you have bad neighbors and Fieldstone does NOT have any bad neighbors. Grounds are well kept and maintenance is timely and professional.
Been here 2 yrs. Staff was wonderful, maintenance guys were awesome. Had a 2 bed, 2 bath, huge closets. Plenty of room for me, my son and our dog. (Yes dogs are welcome.) Big bonus having a washer and dryer in apartment! Pretty grounds and close to shopping.
Living at the apartments for almost 2 yrs now and have actually had a great experience here. Moved to the area from out of state for school and was super nervous due to a bad experience at my last place and knowing practically nothing about the area but I am so glad I stumbled on Fieldstone apartments! The staff has been really friendly and the few times I needed maintenance to come fix something they showed up fast and took care of the problem. Having my own washer and dryer was just bonus when I came here because I never had one before and figured it wasn't a deal breaker for me but now I'm not sure I will be able to live without it when I leave! Only been to the pool a few times but it was nice and clean and not crowded with a ton of people. I share a 2 bedroom apartment and it's a good size for me and my roommate and the bedroom has a really big closet :) The price is not the cheapest but I've learned that you get what you pay for with renting and I couldn't be happier with this place. I hope my next apartment experience is half as good as this one.
I am the current resident here, and I cannot wait to move out of this apartment once the lease is over. Please consider following facts before moving here: Rent of this apartment is on the higher side, as compared to other apartments in the locality. Other apartments include heated water as part of rent. Please add additional $150 at least for water (yes, water is billed separately) and electricity (water boiler works on electricity which is responsibility of the residents, and it is super expensive to heat water using electricity). Electricity bill jumped to three digit figure after moving here (and we are not heavy consumers of energy). I wish I knew what I was getting into while signing lease at the first place. I ‘assumed’ that water boiler uses natural gas. Washer and dryer in the apartment (at least in my apartment) had issues right from day 1. It has been over 9 months, and issue still remains unresolved. We go to laundromat now, although we pay for washer in our rent! Maintenance folks are amazing, but seems like they have severe limitation from the management on what they can replace. They helplessly tried to fix washer-dryer at least 10 times, but refused to replace it. Same thing is true with kitchen lights. We now use electric stove lights only, as dome lights do not work. We have stopped complaining to apartment since last 5 months, as they come and do same maintenance stuff without anything new or different result. We are counting our days and months... Also, had problem with gas burner, which was addressed by the apartment. And refrigerator also stopped working, but was also eventually replaced. All this caused frustration to built up. Management agrees that apartment is old and falling apart. They need serious maintenance work, especially if they are going to charge top dollars for rent. Absolutely not worth the rent they charge. I have stayed at better apartments, including utilities, at similar or lower price in the area.
The property is very nice. most importantly the employees and management are very nice and helpful.
This is a very nice community. Its small enough to be quaint, yet spread out. You can easily get to 14 mile or 15 mile depending on which direction you are trying to go. There are several grocery stores close by. The grounds are kept up daily and the pool is also very nice. Having a patio is a definite plus. The selling point for me was the in unit washer and dryer. The application process and rental process went very smoothly. When a place is available, jump on it.
i have experienced a problem . UPS delivered a package to the office.. did not put a notice on my door. . the office did not give me a courtesy call. the pakage sat in the office for a week. a floral enterpiece was ruined..
I have been in and out of apartments since I was a baby. This was by far the best fit for me. Apartments are not always quiet do not always make you feel like your taken care of or even treat you like "money". I loved my 8 years here and wouldnt be moving if it was up to me! Its time to go back to New York. I wish i could take FIeldstone with me! I did have a regular apartment and got the upgrades about a year ago. TOTALLY worth every penny! Neighbors were fairly good. I really only heard noise on the weekends. I loved my space. private entry and my own washer and dryer. it really felt like a home to me. The staff has changed a little and everytime I am more and more pleased with the service i recieve. thank you to the maintenace team who always is polite and fixed everything so fast. Thank you to the entire staff and team for a place where I felt welcomed and a place to call home. keep up the great work! id recoommed anyone to go check it out!
Super sad that I have to leave this place… BUT that means YOU could live here now! So I lived in MI for only 3 years now, first time out on my own... and had 2 SUPER bad experiences. Fieldstone was awesome. I fell in love with the apartment and the washer/dryer!! Privacy is so awesome and it stinks I have to move back to Florida! Great things: 2 closets in my bedroom! HUGE closet in my bathroom. Dog friendly! Snickers and I have had a blast. Maintenance was pretty good… I wish there was a closer mall… and they really need to repave some roads in this area! I would suggest a balcony because I just loved the view of the property that I had. I had a remodeled apartment and they are gorgeous! New like everything. Ask about it! Pool was never too crazy so that was awesome! Okay back to packing. Good luck to everyone moving cause this packing thing stinks!
