The activities are fun and everyone is extremely friendly. If the washer's and dryer's weren't always broken, this place would be almost perfect.
I loved how welcoming was Ms. heather. She was so excited to help with anything we needed. I love how spacious the parking lot is. Complex has a lot of amenities.
My only problem with the community is the type of people living in the building they dump garbage in the parking lot from their cars,They’re not responsible pet owners in many ways, there should be a limit on the size and weight

I love the location, my apartment is older but clean and spacious. The staff is great and friendly. The elevator are always operational, and the gym is excellent, including the sauna.

I love the apartment community here! My neighbors are extremely nice! It’s always clean and smells amazing in the lobby and halls! I e experience the alarm going off a couple of times randomly, without notice. It’s a bit annoying, but thankful it was taken care of rather quickly!

Living at The Esplanade at City Park has been a mix of pros and cons, but overall, it’s been a good experience. The location is hard to beat—it's in a beautiful part of the city with a lot to do nearby, and it feels pretty peaceful. The building itself has some nice features that make daily life convenient and enjoyable. There’s a sense of community here that I really appreciate, and most of the staff are friendly and helpful. Like any place, there are occasional issues—some things take longer to get addressed than you'd hope, and not everything is always perfect. All went well as far as orientation. I do feel safe and it’s a great neighborhood. The only downside so far is that you have to find an alternative to air conditioning your apartment. It’s always 10° hotter than the hallways and common areas which are very cold. It appears the damper switches in the ventilation are all being redirected to these common areas.

The Esplanade at City Park offers spacious apartments plans that stand out compared to similarly priced options. Inclusive utilities add to the convenience, and the location is unbeatable, with proximity to the fairgrounds, Bayou St. John, City Park, and numerous restaurants. However, maintenance services can be slow and may require multiple visits to resolve issues. Some amenities are outdated and need upgrades, particularly the laundry equipment. We have a desperate need for new washers and dryers. My reviews would raise from 3 to 5 stars specifically if we got new washers and dryers because their frequent failure impacts my experience that much! Overall, Esplanade at City Park is a great choice for those seeking a spacious apartment in a prime location, despite some areas needing improvement.

I appreciate the safety and attention that management gives to taking care of their residents and community in general. I very much enjoy the many amenities that are provided— especially secured parking, a secured package room, and the general appearance of the property itself. Quiet and relaxing in your home . Some of the residents are super sweet while others are a little too nosey! Parking could be a little stressful. Doing laundry is even more stressful! Machines always broke

Pleased with my apartment. Love it. Quiet for most part. Had some maintenance issues that staff repaired and are still working on. Most washing machines are still not repaired or replaced. Amenities and staff are great.

As much as I love my own apartment and my space, there have been some issues with facilities and fellow tenants in the building. I find it hard to find washers and dryers that consistently work without having to queue for a spot. A few days ago, a resident was walking around the lobby with an open bottle of liquor, cursing and following other tenants around, taunting them. I’d like to feel safe in my home, and I wish there was more attention to security and safety in the building.

The residents are not being residents. They're not cleaning up behind there animals or themselves. The parking is still horrible, office manager is trying her best, but its not working

Best location in town by far! Alicia is an amazing apartment manager too. Sometimes noise levels are high and parking can be complicated. Overall a great experience worth staying around for. Just renewed my lease.

apartment very clean upon move in, heather was very nice, pool is amazing, i wish the laundry rooms weren’t always broken but that’s okay. overall nice

Really good. Toilet was broken when I first moved in and they replaced it right away. Other tenants very nice. Great walking area if you have dogs.

Please, fix or replace the laundry washing machines and dryers. Otherwise, I love my apartment! My cat enjoys the view, and the pet-friendly halls make me smile.

I love the location and the new bikes are cool, but I think management can be rude to residents and some residents treat this place like a dump. Also maintenance is hard to get a hold of and the pest control I pay for doesn’t show up.

This is a very fun place to live. Everyone is very friendly. The staff do a great job of hosting a variety of events. A downside is it sometimes takes maintenance a while to fix issues.

As a recent newcomer to the city, this apartment community was a great choice. Great neighborhood to start out in. The people that live here make it feel like it's own little community. There's gated parking available with plenty of space.It's walking distance to get groceries, places to go eat & get a drink. As well as public transportation right at the nearest corner.

This is a great place to live. I have been here over a year and I love it more each day. Alicia the manager is the best. She really cares about her tenants. The area and the view is amazing. We have the bayou and City Park. Lots of great places to eat! I made the best decision coming here and trust me you will too. This is my home sweet home

Been here 4yrs and the complex is starting to go down. The residents there are letting in, parking, cleaning, security, and washing machine are all broken. There nothing is being done to improve it.

My experience has been ok so far. It’s a nice, safe and friendly environment! The plus side of it being located in the Mid City area is its minutes away from City Park.

I love the apartment and the building. The amenities and location are great. The gym and pool are nice, and the apartments are spacious. The management is also commendable. However, the washers and dryers are outdated and should be replaced. They need more cameras, and they do not enforce policies, so people get away with bad behavior like leaving trash. Sometimes, maintenance is slow.

I did not yet move in, and I already feel like I'm being accepted into a community, instead of just an apartment complex. I was apprehensive about the price of these apartments, but they are in a beautiful location (by the bayou), have relatively low crime (across the street from City Park), and there are multiple community events each month.

Lately, the laundry is in disrepair always taking your money. Its time for an upgrade.. Hallways are in need shampoo and vacuum. Elevators are not consistently cleaned or sanitize. Stairwells have dog poop and pee. It's never been this bad but some tennants are to blame. Blood smear is located on exit door it been there for awhile. I would a clean environment.
Management is trying to improve but still needs work. Need to address the gates constantly being broken. The type of gate currently being used is not working. Need to enforce the parking rules and not just threatening they are going to enforce them. Too many broken down cars, no permits displayed, car parked where they shouldn’t be. Do like that they are doing more fun things, bingo, wino Wednesdays, etc.

I absolutely love love love living here. I am a proud resident at Esplanade City Park. It’s like a family atmosphere and everyone is so friendly. We enjoy activities together and you won’t find a better manager and leasing agents. This is truly my home and I am so thankful to be here. Alicia welcomed me from day one before I ever even actually moved in.
