This complex has been a disappointing experience. Amenities like the pool and gym are poorly maintained, and hidden move-out charges are common despite normal wear and tear. The frequent police presence due to tenant-related issues creates an unsettling atmosphere. Noise levels, marijuana smells and neglected common areas like commonly used stairwells make it unsuitable for students or anyone seeking a quiet, well-managed environment. I recommend exploring other options for a better experience.

Elan is a clean, spacious and high end apartment. The appliances and large bathrooms are what sold us.

I do not recommend looking at this property with the new management. Existing renters cannot transfer to lower-cost units, and vacancies are increasing for a good reason. We were quoted one price in the morning only to be told a substantially higher price in the afternoon. We are filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and BBB. The bait and switch postings do not believe. At least be honest about your noncompetitiveness. This is complete nonsense.

Elan is a wonderful community to call home. The extensive amenities provide the many things we had from our previously owned home so that there is never a feeling of missing out on comfort. The management and maintenance team members are excellent and have provided quick resolutions to our needs. I feel we truly came upon a great place to live comfortably and secure, and feel like a part of a great community!

Think that firepit is nice? Too bad, it doesn't work. Wanna take a dip in the pool? Too bad, it's closed for maintenance "until further notice." Want to rent a storage locker? Good luck finding an available one since they let people squat in them without recourse. They have zero problem charging you an "amenity fee" every month however. There have been three different management teams here in the past 12 months, none of which seems to be able to manage their way out of a wet paper bag. The only redeeming qualities here are the location and the maintenance staff. Oh, and did I mention the ceilings/floors are so thin you can literally hear your upstairs neighbor's bed squeak as they get out of it in the morning?

The building and the units are up to date. The amenities (pool, golf simulator, dog run, dog bath, and movie room) are all fantastic and beautiful. When we moved in, it felt like a resort and it still does. The staff, Kellie and Holly also made it very easy to move in by answers my laundry list of questions before moving in and by reserving the elevator for us during move in. Thank you! The tenant portal is also really nice and easy to use. This is where we pay our monthly rent.

I've been at Elan Apartments for 3 years. It's well kept and my unit is very comfortable and inviting. The amenitites are great. Managers are very helpful. Guests always tell me they feel like they are at a resort. Highly recommended.

I had a great experience with Elan Apartments!! Lots of windows good vibes very modern kitchen with very spacious hallways that don't give the effect of the apartment!! Friends came over and they said it looks like a resort!!

We love living here, the complex is always being cleaned and smells fresh. The people are wonderful, always friendly and ready to help you. The pool is one of my favorite places to spend my day. This is a wonderful place to live.

I moved here from out of state and work 7 days a week at a 13-hour minimum. Even with all that I was never left waiting for responses or anything like that. They were incredibly quick with email replies and phone calls, Kate in particular was who I primarily worked with and she was great to us.

My experience living at Elan has been a very positive one so far. I value the private secure covered parking, the in unit laundry, the secure package delivery, and all the other amenities we have. Its a great place to live.

Overall, good place to live. A little pricey with the added fees but nice admin, parking, trash, storage, etc. Staff is nice and maintenance is great. Floors are a little thin so if you have a noisy resident above you, youll have to deal with that but units are sharp. Amenities are nice as well. Wish they had a sauna. Most residents are nice with the exception of a few that cant clean up after themselves and their pets. Again, overall a solid place.

Elan Yorktown is a wonderful community to live in. The building and grounds are very well maintained and the maintenance staff respond extremely fast! The dog park is perfect!

This apartment complex has been amazing and management makes it even better! Any issue I have had, management has addressed immediately. The area feels very safe and convenient the amenities are wonderful! I would recommend this place to anyone looking to love in the area, you wont regret it!
