Nestled beside the North San Diego Bay, Little Italy is a small neighborhood in Downtown San Diego that is true to its name. The area is filled with local restaurants and shops influenced by Italian culture or history. Previously home to families who made their living on the sea from the tuna industry, Little Italy is now a dynamic neighborhood filled with craft breweries, wineries, art galleries, boutique shops, alfresco cafes, urban parks, and award-winning restaurants.
Little Italy is a food-lovers paradise. A popular local spot since 1933, Waterfront Bar & Grill provides a casual dining experience to Little Italy residents and visitors. For an upscale Italian eatery, visit Buon Apetito. Try out nationally acclaimed eats featured in publications and on television at Extraordinary Desserts or Juniper and Ivy, a modern American fare in an artsy, wooded environment.

Property Ratings at Elan Luxo II
The property is beautiful the service is horrible. The maintenance takes awhile to get so you SOL on an emergency. The elevator breaks on a contant basis and can take 2 to 3 days to fix, not so cool when you on the 6th floor. You cannot speak to anyone vai phone as there is no one to take your call. You leave a message and hop someone will call you back. You can email them and that can take some time as well. The addres they have ;listed for the office is bogus. There is no residental management or securiyt on site and no numbers to reach if necessary.. There are other places with amenities and cheaper close by
STAY FAR AWAY if you value your sanity. Management is utterly incompetent and will do everything in their power to screw you. If they tell you anything, get it in writing because they will lie and go back on their spoken word on any verbal agreements. Sewage pipes leak in the parking garage and onto the cars, and damaged the paint on mine. I was told to kick rocks and was forced to get a lawyer involved to inform them that they had a legal obligation to repair damages. Also, I hope you have good comprehensive auto insurance because your car WILL get vandalized and broken into here. Mine was vandalized 3 separate times in just a 6 month period, causing massive headache and several thousand dollars in damages. Speaking with other residents many experienced the same issues and management refused to help. The security guard they had on payroll *temporarily* did absolutely nothing and my car was hit while he was on duty LOL. The camera signs in the garage are fake too, there's no cameras. Packages will get stolen constantly, and things will also break: the garage door (yet another security concern), the elevator, your A/C, etc., and it will take weeks to fix. I've lived in half a dozen different apartment complexes and this was by far the worst in terms of how absolutely poorly it was run. Run far far away from this one.
Great apartments and they also have some of the nicest people in the industry working for Elan. Always responsive, caring and genuinely will do whatever it takes to make a resident happy. Arash
