The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Emerge Oakcrest
Different lease amount every single month, breezeways dirty, forced Cable without Local channels, Spectrum, trash pick up and valet trash is horrible, busted lights outside in common areas, maintenance crew chane every quarter, gate barrier timer super slow and broke 99%. Double billing on trash and valet trash.Management NEVER returns calls, not concerned about residents. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!
This has been the BEST move-in and living here. Management Staff, Ms Ashley is superb at her job! The paperwork she had ready for my review and signatures, was achieved with no difficulties. She is professional, uncomplicated and sensitive to the complete needs of residents. My move in process was without difficulty thanks to Ms Ashley. The complex has luxury comforts and easy parking arrangements. This complex offers the most desirable and excellent living standard. Thank you, Ms Ahsley, Management for a great future living here.
I have been here almost 12 months and I most say Ms. Ashley , who is one of the property manager have made my stay amazing and so much peaceful . She’s quick to respond to any concerns or questions I have. She’s very helpful . I definitely can say she take care of anyone who comes to her . I have no complaints or issues ever when it comes to this young lady . If you are looking for an apartment here please go to Ms. Ashley.
DO NOT MOVE HERE!! If you don’t have roaches in your apartment, then you’ll have MICE . The rent prices does not reflect the condition of this complex. It’s overpriced to live with mice , roaches, car break ins, and hearing gun shots . The water in the whole building got turned off twice randomly without notice for hours . When it do come back on black stuff be coming out the faucet. The security deposit is just a money holder for your last utility bill . They will automatically deduct it from that. You have to put a 60 days notice prior to your lease ending if you’re not renewing or you’ll be charged extra months . Even if you do, it’s their discretion to charge you or not . I moved out on tuesday the day when my lease ended somebody put in the system that they had me down to move out on Thursday . After me telling her that’s incorrect I’m moving out today she failed to correct it in the system. Therefore, they charged me two extra days of rent that I did not occupy . Of course they took it out of the security deposit They’ll do anything to not give you back the security deposit. They love telling you information or instructions by mouth without documentation so if issues come up there’s no paper trail and they can give you the run around . It’s very unprofessional.
Literally THE WORST decision you could EVER make is moving to this complex. It would take me hours to write all the things wrong with this apartment since I’ve lived here for two years but the last straw is having someone at the leasing office hang up on us on Monday when we were just trying to say a warning for loud maintenance in the apartment above us would just be considerate cause they have all the time in the world to leave several notes on our door to renew our lease which obviously will not be happening. The management by far has been the worst part of living here. They don’t do anything for the community and it’s always disgusting and the dumpster is almost ALWAYS overflowing. We can’t even get a “gated community” because the gate will be broke and never fixed. The bushes haven’t been trimmed in forever so we basically have a privacy bush on the first floor. Our grills and pool are chained up. We’ve had a maintenance request in for a month to fix something in our apartment and THEY MARKED IT AS COMPLETED WHEN THEY NEVER EVEN CAME! People are blaring their music ALWAYS. The fire alarms have been pulled. Guns have been pulled on people. This place is AWFUL!!! KEEP LOOKING!!!

Hello Mr. Liguori, Trevor, we certainly would like to apologize for your experience. Our residents are important to us and while we strive to provide excellent service, we are sorry if we missed the mark with you. As mentioned earlier in our conversation, our vendor team installed new vinyl flooring in the unit above your apartment which caused the noise mentioned in our phone conversation and in your review. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this caused you while trying to take a nap. Also, our pool area is very much open and available to our residents to enjoy. We invite you to come down for a relaxing day at the pool! Also, please be advised that our landscapers are here weekly manicuring our community yards. I would love to stay in touch regarding any future concerns, so please feel free to contact me directly as needed. Thank you, Irish C., Community Manager echelonparkmgr@pinnacleliving.com
Let me start with saying AVOID THIS COMPLEX AT ALL COSTS, our experience has been nothing short or awful. We moved into these apartments in the end of September and it is now March and we are getting out within this short amount of time we’ve been here these has been nothing but trouble, we have never felt safe here in our apartments which is just sad, it started with a shooting that happened right outside our complex that happened at about 9 at night while we were outside walking our dog we heard gun shots so close to us all we did was run and called the cops out there and not even a few weeks later we had another shooting where someone ended up in the hospital and im not even sure if they are alive! Just a few days ago we were unable to even drive into the complex due to a swat team being called out there to address a crazy man making threats to cops, anytime we try to contact them about issues we never get a response they don’t pick up the phone they don’t answer emails... nothing, we let them know we would be moving out because we don’t feel safe here and they wouldn’t even let us in the office to figure out what we needed to do they poked their head out the door and were rude and eventually just said “you can email us” and gave us an email that isn’t real!! I would not recommend this place to anyone, it’s sad when you don’t even feel safe where you live.

Hello Valued Resident, Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We are disappointed to learn you have not been able to experience the high quality service we strive to provide. I completely respect you've selected to remain anonymous on your review. However, I would like to set aside some time to discuss your concerns in greater detail. Please feel free to contact me directly at: echelonparkmgr@pinnacleliving.com or 770-898-8400. Irish C- Community Manager
The staff is friendly but don't ever communicate with you. Maintenance?? What's that? Nothing gets fixed. They charge you for pest control that doesn't happen and we keep finding roaches. Water damage has ruined my wall since a heavy rain. Walls are thin and you hear everything. Two weeks ago someone was shot in the apartment below me and today the apartment across the hall was busted into by a bunch of cops and DEA. It smells like Marijuana all the time and people pull guns on each other in the parking lot. DO NOT MOVE HERE.
Property Manager at Emerge Oakcrest, Responded To This Review
Thank you for speaking with me and I also appreciate your renewal. As mentioned, please be advised our weekly pest control service is by request only. If you contact our leasing office prior to our service date, we will gladly add you to our weekly list. You now have my direct contact information for any service concerns, please feel free to contact me as needed. Last but most important, please understand your safety and the safety of our community is high priority. If you witness anything that may bring a concern, please contact our Echelon Park Apartments courtesy officer. Our courtesy officer is a police officer (not a security guard) for the City of McDonough, therefore she can directly address any form of unlawful acts. Thank you for your residency! Irish C- Community Manager
16 cars were broken into and NO ONE from the leasing office offered to do anything. The gates were not working at the time and neither were the cameras. There is also a clause within the lease that states that", if gates and cameras are not working, they are not responsible for keeping you safe". Basically, even if you pay your rent on-time, and keep yourself safe; if something happens on their property it does not matter their job is not to keep you SAFE or even make you feel SAFE! Do not even inquire about breaking your lease regarding your safety; they will look you in your face with direct eye contact, smile and tell you, " we will fine you if you move before your lease is up"! Please DO NOT COME HERE, if its not the gates it will definitely be from the tenants that are moving in. In her exact words, " its just an amenity, the gates are not for your safety"! KEEP DRIVING!!
Property Manager at Emerge Oakcrest, Responded To This Review
Hello and thank you for your review. Management has been working with local law enforcement on the car break in incidents that took place all over McDonough. Many communities both apartment and single family subdivisions both gated and non gated were targeted. Because traffic control gates are mechanical devices subject to failure from weather and abuse no community should ever promise that traffic control gates are a security device. No community can ever guarantee safety. We are very sorry to hear that you are unhappy living here however we really do appreciate your feedback.
Motorcycle was stolen. It took several phone calls, walk-ins, and 2 weeks to get the management to check the cameras. Refrigerator freezes all food. A/C leaks and they charge a full month's rent even when you move out halfway through the month.
Property Manager at Emerge Oakcrest, Responded To This Review
Thank you for your review. I am very sorry to hear about the unfortunate events that took place surrounding your motorcycle however as we mentioned before we cannot turn over security footage to anyone except law enforcement for the privacy of our other residents. I would be happy to have maintenance check out your refrigerator and air conditioning. Your move out month should also be prorated if you gave proper notice. I would be happy to take a look at your account with you...please come by the office anytime and we will be happy to assist. We look forward to seeing you soon!
DO NOT MOVE HERE! Take heed from the other reviews
Apartments are very spacious on the inside but the floors and walls are very thin. You can hear the tenants above you walking and talking very clearly. It's a small community and is very quiet and not a lot of kids out playing.
We were promised a gate before we moved in and that was a year ago - still no gate. Poor maintenance. Break-ins at gun point. Nobody to contact in regards to our utilities (apex bill). Water usage is not just your usage but everyone's usage in the community.
We are simply not happy here. armed robberies; apartment consumed with marijuana; very poor upkeep and response time.
