Great location. Horrible leasing staff. They are hardly in the office and do not respond to emails. A clean place and hard working maintenance staff. Sadly the two people who have the most, or suppose to have the most interaction with tenants, do not. They are unprofessional for not responding to emails (not a late response, no response), along with announcements that are made untimely and unprofessionally written. Lastly, they never repaired the thermostat which is off by 20°. Submitted three request and talked to the manager who shrugged me off.

Dominion needs to fix air conditioning units when they are broken instead of pretending that there is no issue. They literally come in with a device and try to "educate," you how it works because they think tenants are too dumb to spot a broken air conditioner. When something works properly I don't need intimate knowledge of how it works, I should just need to turn it on. This place is just super cheap when it comes to fixing stuff.
I have lived at Dominion for over a year and I love this community. Everything is always clean, staff are super friendly, and maintenance is always extremely responsive. This is a breath of fresh air coming from a previous living environment where it would take maintenance up to a week to respond! Here, I will put in a notice and receive help within 2 hours- most often it’s less than that.
Clean, responsive, alert and most important simply the best staff and quality in maintaining. Keep it up, you guys make it a joy living here.

I had the pleasure of touring with Eugenia and she was very knowledgeable of the community and surrounding areas. The amenities were very clean and all the staff were welcoming!
My husband and I really do enjoy living here. There have been many maintenance issues since we moved almost a year ago. They are quick to answer and solve our issues. I just wish there weren’t so many maintenance issues that could’ve been fixed before we moved in.
Amazing staff. Great neighbors and always clean. Makes it easy to call home. This is my 2nd time living here!!
I've been living here for a year and a half, and I can honestly say I don't have any complaints.

I just moved in about a week ago and I am so thrilled. Everything is kept spotless, the trash room is always constantly cleaned out and everyone that works here is so incredibly nice and quick to respond. I truly have zero complaints and would highly recommend- I never write reviews but I moved in from out of state without ever seeing the place and it has exceeded my expectations so I felt the need to share!

The best place to be! Coming for 3 months, I am starting soon my third year. And always as pleased as the first day.
Dominion Apartments is a great community to live if you are looking for a clean environment, great amenities, pet friendly, upgrades within a historic building, kind/responsive staff (management/maintenance) with very fair rent prices in the area. I truly have been very happy with my decision to move here.
not recommended !!! about 5 to 10 apts moved from this community because of management . the new manager byron bills you for whatever he likes to . very low customer service .
The apartments are not worth the pricing, its not close to Ballston, and the quality is not outstanding, along with the customer service which is less than satisfactory.
Dominion Apartments are newly renovated, clean, and the staff is very helpful and friendly! Its located in a great area of Arlington too, just a short walk from Ballston. Highly recommend living here!
Good location, nice amenities, reasonably priced for the area. I dont like that I had to pay for an extra set of room FOBs for a two bedroom apartment. I feel like you should get a set per bedroom.

I moved from a luxury building to Dominion due to needing to gain a cost savings in relation to my living space in this area the building was the perfect move for me. It is clean, the apartments are newly renovated, quiet *atleast on my floor* (with updated appliances that I love *stove/dishwasher/washer & dryer) and although its an older building with surface parking. I have not thought once about where I left and the staff (leasing and maintenance are very nice and go above & beyond to assist you).
Modern mid century living apartment boasts updated bath and kitchen with all new appliances. Location cannot be beat - close to metro, bus, highways.

I was a little hesitant to move into an older building, but the renovation was done well with trying to maintain the character of the building and the staff ( leasing office & maintenance) have gone above and beyond in trying to assist me from the time I took interest in the property up until me moving in. For the price point, nice finishing and appliances - I'm happy with making Dominion my home. The only thing that bothers me, but I'm over it now are the door and window frames, which look like they were not replaced ( but everything else makes me forget about it). oh and the studios are cute and reasonably priced.
The community manager is nice and the building is clean. The amenities are great and theres an awesome bellhop luggage cart/dolly to use when its available. The staff host fun events like on Saturdays and they seem to care about the appearance, safety, and experience of the building and residents as a whole. The residents seem to be courteous and kind. Hope the rooftop opens soon!! The design looks inviting.
Dominion is a great place for living, Im an international student and it just remind me of my home in Honduras, everyone is so nice and every service given is at its finest
Been here for 3 weeks and it just reminded of home, great service is always given and I have great neighbors! The gym has everything and the social area is a great place to study or get with friends.
From the day I first spoke with Kai to inquire about the move in special to this day, 7 months later, I am a happy camper! I felt at home even before moving in. Kai, Abby and all the Dominion staff make me feel welcome and like family. The entire staff are always, always, always professional, friendly, and responsive. I tell everyone I know about Dominion Apartments and how much I love living here! :)
Updated and very modern apartment living. Dominion paid attention to detail to renovate each apartment and it feels like you're living in a brand new apartment. Awesome application experience - Abie was terrific.

It's a nice place to live, clean and good services, I have had very and small inconveniences here which have been solved on time and manner so far, but definitely I would recommend Dominion.

Dominion Apartments is a well-maintained and professionally managed complex. I think it offers a competitive "best value" option for apartment-seekers in the Arlington area.

I moved to Arlington, VA from Pittsburgh, PA. I researched dozens of apartments in the Arlington area and am very glad I found Dominion Apartments. The Dominion staff was very helpful answering my questions over the phone and when I scheduled a visit. After looking at several different apartment complexes it was obvious Dominion had the best combination of quality, value and amenities. Additionally, the office staff was very helpful during my transition to Virginia and move into the apartment. I am very satisfied with my new apartment.
I have been living at Dominion now for about a month. I cant say enough good things about the staff here with particular praise to Kai for making my moving experience easy as pie. Everyone is wonderful to work with from management, the leasing staff, and the maintenance team. Its a quiet community that has both older charm and modern flair. I am in love with my layout. Plus the location is the perfect balance between convenience and peace and quiet. Theres everything you need within a 10 minute reach!
The Dominion was the perfect match for me. Close to the college, reasonable rent, easy move in process. As a newly renovated building, everything is new. I really like the kitchen appliances and in unit washer and dryer! I appreciate the flexibility of lease terms.
The Dominion has beautifully renovated apartments and amazing staff. It is surrounded by great food and entertainment and is conveniently located close to DC and trendy places in Virginia.

Kidest & Abie have been fantastic! the whole process from initial inquiry call to the day I moved in was very smooth. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Issues will always arise, such is life, however its how these issues are addressed is what really counts. Again, the staff and the renovations of the building has been an exceptional experience.
As one of the very first residents in the building, the entire process from A-Z has been flawless. Of course as a newly remodeled property (or any other), therell always be minor issues here and there but its how they are addressed is what really matters. You couldnt have a better team (Kidest, Abie & Ricardo) opening and running the apartment building. Fantastic team!!! IB
So many issues because of poor management, probably related to mgmt no longer caring about residents due to impending eviction of residents and redevelopment, but the latest disaster is the lack of coverage for the pool, the one amenity that was available and made summers tolerable. No life guard on the weekend, when everyone wants to use the pool, is inexcusable.
