An honest rundown of this place. MG properties overcharged me for my move out fees, which I corrected them on. This resulted in these fees almost going to collections. Look at MG’s reviews! They are not good. 1. It looks luxury, but everything is mostly broken constantly. 2. Building A has a hidden m**h lab, causing legal trouble. 3. Car safety is unreliable, and Domain denies responsibility. My convertible top was cut and they denied showing me camera footage. 4. Call boxes and gate fobs often malfunction, causing inconvenience. 5. Elevators are slow, halls stained, and pet waste neglected. 6. Trash room cleanliness is a problem due to improper use. 7. Domain staff are unprofessional and management is unresponsive.

Poor experience, me and my wife submitted an application on Friday March 10th after talking to Irine over the phone. We have tried to call multiple times and left a voicemail, no one answered and no one got back to us. So we came on Sunday at 11am which Irine scheduled an appointment for us and we got an email confirmation, the lady in the front desk told us that there is no appointment scheduled for us. Then gave us the wrong set of 10 keys to go by ourselves to view the apartment so we couldn’t even see the apartment. We find it very difficult management to deal with.

I have been living here for a year and this place is the biggest waste of potential I have ever seen. None of the "features" that you pay for work. Examples: the gym equipment is either broken or dirty sense management refuses to keep the wipes stock, the hot tub goes down, I have stopped having my packages delivered here since the shared room is a nightmare of organization and I have had two of my packages go missing(no help from management), since I have been living here there have been 14 car break ins including my own (once again management no help) despite being in a "private" under ground garage with a "security guard", my A/C has gone out so many times I lost count( one time it lead to my power bill being 450 and management refusing to take responsibility), The trash shoot is constantly overflowing, there is trash in all the hallways and staircases, I think they are trying to set some world record for the slowest elevator. They make paying inconvenient for their tenants. Any issues you have they are quick to say " this building was built in 2012 so not everything is 100%" but we are not paying 2012 prices. The tenants are are paying at 30% more than they should and the rent is constantly increasing, which would not be a problem if that money was going to improving the building but it is not. Someone needs to hold these people accountable. DO NOT LIVE HERE. The only good thing about this place is the lead maintenance guy Benny and his team, they are quick to help and super nice to bad they work THE management team ever

The apartments are nice and quiet. I never here my neighbers. The leasing office and maintenance team are always helpful. Just the other day Anatoli from the maintenance team came over right away,when I put in a maintenance order. No only did he fix the issue but he took the time to explain what he was doing and what options I had. I really appreciated it.

RaLonda gave me a tour of the place and is great! Perks of this area I like is the 2nd floor gym that’s open 24/7 and has a indoor/outdoor vibe with a rotating rock climbing wall. I was shown the 1 Bedroom apartment and enjoyed the shelving in the bath as well as the lighting overall!

I just moved her about 3 weeks ago from out of state and everything has been really smooth. It looks like a new management company has taken over recently and I constantly see the Leasing Office staff and Maintenance staff on the property walking around and making some of their changes. The amenities are excellent, and the gym has enough space/equipment that I cancelled my monthly gym membership. The pool is very nice and has not been too packed to enjoy, and even over the holiday weekend there was plenty of space to relax/swim. So far its been great!

Hidden fees. Cockroaches that are common but management can do “nothing about.” slow elevators that make creepy, concerning noises. For the price of rent, you would assume that management would be more helpful. They really do not care if you have bugs crawling out your drain. I’ve only lived here for a month, wish we went with a different complex in the area.

Make sure you ask for Juan-Luiz when youre on the phone with them! Hes very helpful and communicative and listens to your concerns. Give the apartment a look, it is at a great location and they always keep apartments for preview in excellent condition. They also have amazing amenities. Their maintenance staff is very knowledgeable and willing to take the time to go the extra mile and do a good job with repairs. Thanks, Eli!

The room space is small and the parking space is smaller. The soundproofing is poor. The rent is higher.

Domain is a centrally located apartment community in a quiet and quaint neighborhood. It feels great to have easy access to mission valley, north park, etc. while still living in a slow paced area.
Only a couple weeks in and Im loving living at Domain! Apartment is spacious and well laid out, nice patio that overlooks the cute little park across the street. Close to freeways and very central to most places in San Diego which is perfect for my roommate and I. Looking forward to taking advantage of all of the open amenities soon! I am bummed that the club house is closed, I also have read great things about some of the social events Domain puts on, hoping that picks back up soon too :)
Domain apartment is located at the heart of San Diego. Its close to almost every spot. Its clean and safe, the were really professional, always ready and willing to help with any issue and to answer any questions.

Great place to live. Have been here almost a year and don't have any complaints. People park and dog park right outside our door to eat lunch or just hand out. Maintenance is always very helpful. Management is very quick to help with any issues. Definitely planning on staying when the lease is up.

It always smells like weed here and the smoke finds its way into your apartment. Ive only seen one community email they posted for the multiple occasions it happened, almost daily. Ive sent emails to the leasing office but Ive never heard back. The property is nice however a few tenants here don't know how to respect their lease and the hundreds of other tenants that also live here.

I've been living at Domain for almost two years and can say it is a beautiful place to live. Aside from the refreshingly modern apartments, the office personnel really add to the overall experience. They are personable, attentive and genuinely care about their residents. I recently called about a maintenance issue and the Manager, Todd, took it upon himself to fix the problem without any delay. Greatly appreciate the office staff for what they add to the overall experience of living at Domain.

great place to live, pet freindly. presently under construction
I've been living at Domain since 2012 and I love it!!! The new property management team (Greystar) led by Todd and his right hand woman Carla are the best! They have done such an amazing job with upgrading the aesthetics and throwing awesome resident appreciation events. The leasing staff Jesus and Hollis are so knowledgeable and easy to talk to. And the building's engineers/service tech's Herb and Fred led by Denis are phenomenal. Anytime I've had an issue (which is plesantly rare) has always been quickly diagnosed and resolved. Ana is the porter here and is so great at taking care of the place and keeping us comfortable. Now the amenities..... WOW!!!! The pool here is the best in the area. It's the only pool with direct sunlight on you the whole day!!! The other apartments in the area have a shadow cast on you in the afternoon due to their own structure obstructing the sun light. And the pool is heated all year long. The gym is awesome and never full. And the lounge area is the best I've ever seen. Domain is also so centrally located in San Diego (literally 10-15 mins from everywhere) it's also near all the great restaurants in the Convoy district!!! If you're looking for a great community come check it out! I've been here for almost 7 years and these are the reasons why. I'm sure you will agree!! Shanon P

Domain is the place to live. Such a wonderful community. Great amenities. And the management team are soo kind to work with.
Since new management took over the quality has gone way down
I do like the office staff. I do not like that the ownership has raised the rent so high. Many people have had to jump ship due to the rent raise. Also, the utility bill has gone up quite a bit. The owners do not care about the tennants. They care seem to care about lining their pockets.
Love the hospitality.
With the new management greystar they have been doing amazing updates and remodeling of the common areas. Amenities are great. Gym is rarely packed. Office staff is super nice and helpful specially Carla she always goes above and beyond to help you. Overall great experience so far! Apartments are modern and spacious. Never had any issues with neighbors which is a plus!

Clean, Safe and peaceful community. Modern ventilated apartments with sufficient sunlight, good ceiling height and not much vibration transfers from apartments around make the stay pretty convenient. Good and lively people, 24 hours gym , reasonable swimming pool . Nice neighbourhood for walk thought day and night. Overall pretty decent place with good amenities .
Overall good community and apparently living. Amenities are a awesome. Common area cleanliness and repairs could be more common, but overall it's not that bad. Issues with in apartment repairs are resolved in a timely manner.
A very nice and clean complex that will definitely get better when construction is completed.

We had a great experience with Domain. When my boyfriend and I submitted our leasing application the approval process was very short. When my boyfriend and I were moving in, our move in date was pushed back, but management was extremely helpful in providing options for us, including offering a larger alternative floor plan, so that we could move in on our designated move-in date.

Living at Domain has been amazing so far. My car battery once died and I was able to get a charger from the office right away. They also provide dollies for whenever you need to carry large things up the elevator. Plus, the maintenance team response time is incredible; I get fixes in less than two days. I have nothing but praise for Domain. Would definitely recommend.

I would do some research on other apartments before moving into this place I wan to give zero star if I can: - Ppl smoke marijuana, vapes, cigarette out in the park, hall way, and in their apartments. The leasing office wont do anything except sending reminders out. If you report smoking issues, you will hear it is very hard to catch who is smoking. There will be no further action. - Fire alarms went off 6 times for past 5 days. Yes, 6 times. No updates from leasing office after we all evacuated to outside. - Apparently new management team (Greystar) took over, they are repainting, changing out the carpet and doing some minor remodeling. Chemical smells all over the apartments. Clearly they are eager to get more new residents and not caring about the ones already living in. - Noises: yelling/partying all the time. If you call security, they are not available from 6-10pm. No one is available during this time. If you call those hours, you will hear they will try to figure out the issue after 10pm Think twice before moving into this place.

Hello, We are sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with your experience. We did have 2 fire alarms go off - one on Thanksgiving and the other the Sunday following. Both were due to someone cooking and burning something. We did reset the fire alarm panels the next day which resulted in a 3 second sound. All were unplanned and no damage was caused to the building. Greystar did take over management in June and the new ownership has some exciting improvements planned - New exterior paint, interior hallway paint, new flooring in the hallways and more! We are going to be replacing the gym equipment, modernizing the clubhouse and installing new pool furniture. We have other exciting plans too. We do send notices out regarding the work so you are aware and can plan accordingly. We care about all of our residents - If you have other specific concerns or questions, please allow us to assist you. Our office is open 7 days a week from 9AM-6PM.

Its right next to the 163, 52, and 15. Its in close proximity to some of the best asian food in San Diego and a couple of breweries. Overall the area in general is a very safe place, and very convenient in terms of location. Apartment Complex/Unit The apartment unit and complex are well taken care of. The complex has great ammenities all in top shape. Not to mention it is dog friendly and there is a park right outside where alot of down owners meet up. Community: The community is great. I have had luck in my unit as I haven't had any trouble with noise. Mangement is friendly too. And they will take care of any of your concerns, so that is always a plus. Not to mention if you have any maintenance concerns, they are pretty quick and will take care of any of your concerns asap. All in all, I love this aparment complex. This is my first apartment in San Diego, and I do plan to stay here for a while. I recommend living here if the location is conveinient to you. It may be pricey, but its asking price is pretty much the average for newer aparment buildings in this location.
