I feel there’s a lot of potential in these apartments . The fee to receive packages by a third party is no other than a rip off. I feel discouraged. It wasn’t until recently that the introduction of a new dumpster unit was brought to the apartments finally reducing clutter and making the buildings look clean. The accumulation of trash outside reminded me of a third world country.

I have good and bad experiences. More effort needs to be placed on community maintenance on a timely basis. If they are unable to do maintenance on time the resident needs to know that there is a delay instead of the resident calling and being unable to get through to someone. It is very frustrating.

Great place to live. Peaceful and clean. Mgmt always helps when needed and people walk dogs and everyone speaks. Sometimes I leave real quick and I leave my door unlocked not worried about someone coming in. Love it here!

Avana on Broad is a great place to be at if you’re on the hunt for a great apartment. Maintenance works in a fast/ timely manner. The manager, along with everyone else in the office pushes out events going on for the entire community which is nice!

When I first moved to Avana in 2021 it was wonderful; clean, quiet, respectful neighbors, overall great community. Things have drastically changed, the entire complex stinks of weed and cigarettes, there is trash/food scraps/dirty needles/drug paraphernalia throughout the complex. The trash is constantly overflowing. During the summer months the pools are constantly being closed for “repairs” and always dirty.

Over the past two years, I’m on my third lease and despite recent changes in office lease staff there has been a consistent lack of communication from the office staff. In 2022 my rent was increased despite that no updates were made to my unit or to the amenities. In fact, the “tiles” in my unit peeling and multiple requests to fix it, my requests were ignored or dismissed. The front gates are often out of order. There are two pools in the complex, but the second pool wasn’t opened to the residents until 2023 (my first lease was in 2021) and in 2022 the primary closed prior to July 4th and remained closed for most of the summer. These are just a few things off the top of my head. Most recently I submitted my move in inspection and I have yet to hear back.

We put in several maintenance requests for numerous issues with our unit; Mold beneath fresh corking in the restroom, random holes found in the foundation among other issues. We were sent a confirmation that the maintenance was completed; The issue is that 10 minutes prior to the confirmation, my partner was still inside the unit and saw/heard no one. So, you can imagine how I felt reentering our unit— Maybe someone came in to spray for insects, but we still have ants, grasshoppers and the largest roaches known to man invading our unit and it would be nice to have notice of or at least a window of when someone will be coming because the last maintenance person (who was very kind) quickly knocked twice and waited all of 3 seconds before turning their key.

Moved in in June and after settling in comfortable giving a review. My app experience was pretty streamline, almost felt competitive with the pricing haha. But the overall community is really nice, quieter than I expected. The team is also nice I deal with the ladies. Haven't needed maintenance yet but I guess that's a good thing:) I'm pleased. Avana keep it up. And thanks for sorting the trees from the storm.

Great place to live with very few downsides to it. I came here because I wanted the security of a gated community. I work long hours, so the peace and quiet was exactly what I expected.

I love Avana. People walk their dogs and everyone speaks! The kids play together on the tennis court. I wish there was a basketball hoop or soccer goals so the kids wouldn't have to play on the hard surface but overall I'm very pleased I moved here!

Love the community. Everyone I've dealt with, from front office staff to maintenance, has been amazing. The complex has more of a neighborhood feel than the standard apartments in the area which I love. There's sidewalks to walk your dogs and cozy areas to relax or get together with friends.

I lived in the community from April 22 - July 23. The community is "gated" with gates that are never operating correctly. They have a terrible parking process where you might bet booted for having a parker permit. When I moved in my apartment was not cleaned or entirely finished. The community is overpriced for what you get. I would not recommend this community to anyone.

I enjoy living here at Avana on Broad. We are near shopping, exercise trails, transportation, schools and hospitals. All staff is efficient and friendly. Maintenance needs are met quickly.

Avana has been such a serene living experience. Neighbors are friendly, staff is helpful, and amenities are beautiful. This has been by far the best apartment experience I've had. There's also so much to do around the complex and surrounding areas. You're never bored! I love it!

Avana on Broad continually goes downhill without signs of improvement. I lived in the community from 2015 - 2021 and did not have nearly the amount of issues that I have now. There are other communities that offer the same amenities and better for around the same price. My recommendation is to find another apartment community.
