The staff was very helpful and professional. We had no issues or complications upon moving in. Maintenance was very prompt to our requests as well. I also really liked the layout of my unit.

Management/office staff isn’t very helpful. Crime is high on property. The gates don’t work half the time. They have installed bright lights that shine directly into your bedroom and there’s nothing you can do about it!

We where approved here , but things went for the worst it’s SO MANY HIDDEN FEES , lack of communication . THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE ! They are not well equipped as a unit , BECAUSE they all do what they want to do ! YOU CAN WAIT ON HOLD FOR HOURS ! Don’t DO IT

I’m a current resident here that has been consistently having problems and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to move here. First, the front office management is unprofessional who’s never around to answer phones or unwilling to fix problems that I’ve been asking months to be fixed. When I first moved in the unit that was given, it was completely filled with dog hair everywhere and had an awful smell, which they refused to even acknowledge the situation and didn’t want to move me into another unit. I have put in multiple maintenance request for items to be fixed and either they said they’ve completed an work order and never came by or they’ll come by weeks later where the problems has become worse. The pool is always green and barely clean for the public to use, the gym is dirty and unsanitary. I’ve also contacted cooperate about these same issues and no has even tired to contact me from cooperate about my situations.

I used to love this community when I moved here almost 2 years ago. Under the previous management and staff, everything were going very well. However, that is not the case anymore! I requested maintenance for my dishwasher three months ago, but it has not been fixed yet. I have been trying to follow-up on my request, but I was told every time, that dishwasher parts were ordered online and it is on its way. They told me that the parts will be delivered on August 15, 2020. I started waiting again, hoping that they will finally do something about my request. Again I went back to them for follow-up, but I was told the same thing: just wait the parts will come and we will let you know when it comes. So I went back to the office today for probably the 15th time, and I was taken aback when I was told that my maintenance request was actually closed because “we cannot leave a maintenance request to be open for that long.” What does this even mean!! If you don’t want an order not to be open for that long, then complete the order and solve the problem. No customer service. People at the office seem to be careless. It is as if I live here for free!!

My husband and I are looking for a new apartment. The staff was sweet and told us what was going to be available for a large one bedroom apartment. So I went back to look at the potential of this apartment and I was super upset. The staff did not communicate that there was going to be a potential buyer, so the experience was horrible. I didn't get to see the larger one bedroom, it was the smallest one bedroom and I was very disappointed. Plus on top of everything one resident came in and said some attempted to steal her tires; that brings up some other concerns.

My wife and I have been the victims of theft 3 times in the past year. I know of nearly 50 cases of theft in year that i have lived here yet management still refuses to put up security cameras. Instead each time it happens they send a passive aggressive email about protecting your own property to deflect responsibility for monitoring the parking lots and out door spaces. A quarter of the gym equipment is broken and after months of complaining there has been no effort to correct the situation. Construction begins hammering away at the walls every day at 8AM which was not something we knew would be happening when we signed the lease. The in apartment maintenance calls have always been fast and effective so that is nice. The pool and the apartments interior is nice as well. Overall the complex asks more for rent than the surrounding complexes yet fails to provide a safe environment for its tenants and doesn't earn the upcharge.

My wife and I have been robbed 3 times in the year since we moved here. Management sends out passive aggressive emails telling the victims of crime that they should do more to protect their property, yet management refuses to install security cameras even after nearly 50 different thefts have occured here in the past year. The thieves come in a smash car windows looking for guns, the bring bolt cutters and cut off bike locks, its a shit show. Add on top of that a gym that has a quarter of its equipment broken with no sign of it ever being repaired, construction that begins banging away every day at 8 AM and you've got a complex thats over priced for how unsafe and poorly maintained it is.

Great place to live. Been here over a year and the staff has changed, but they have always been easy to work with and helpful. Packages get to me easily and repairs are completed rapidly. It's a little pricey, but the amenities and support staff are worth it. I have been in other apartment complexes close by, but with this complex, I'm not looking back.
I'm not scared to write a bad review. I know that I appreciate an honest opinion when I see one. I have been at the Discovery at Kingwood for almost 3 years and I really have nothing negative to say. The staff is always helpful and friendly, the lawn is almost always clean and most importantly I feel safe, this is key! Susan the manager is helpful and is very active in making the community a fun place to live for all ages. I live on the third floor, third floors are always more quite from the location, the only draw back is the location of my apartment it does face the sun in the evening and can get pretty warm, but all in all I've been very pleased!
I really love my apartment and even more than that I enjoy the other residents. Discovery has a broad mix of multiple demographics and it very much enhances the experience. It's very quiet at night, which who would not love that.:) My 10 year old son lives with me every other weekend and he always enjoys the amenities that Discovery has to offer. The amenities and common area are kept very clean by our responsive maintenance staff. The management staff is very helpful and quick to address any type of frustrations that residents may have.
We have been living here since 2012 and love it. The staff is friendly and helpful. Maintenance has always been prompt, professional and friendly. The grounds are well maintained. Our only complaint is that some residents don't pick up after themselves.(pets included) A couple of years ago we moved from one apartment to another on the property and the new apartment was clean and ready for living upon moving in, which included new hard wood floors and carpeting. We have never had any problems here.
Very professional stuff, apartments full of upgrades, beautiful pool area and even better landscaping very good experience so far
