Property Ratings at Devonshire Park Apartments
I have lived here for over 13 years and love it. The grounds are beautiful and so well maintained. The people, staff and neighbors are wonderful. The maintenance staff are very quick to attend to any issue. The neighbors are there looking out for each other and the fun that we have at the many social activities that are provided is amazing. In addition we are so close to stores, medical facilities and major highways that allow you to get anywhere quickly and easily. If you are looking for a quiet, beautiful place to live, this is where you want to be.
Staff and management is rude and dismissive. Nothing gets fixed, excuse is they are always short staffed. If they do have staff they are working on flipping old apartments and pay no attention to the current residents paying rent. The walls are thin, you can hear everything. People smoking everywhere outside. Most places have public areas smoke free, not here. Pool never opened even though it’s advertised. Go somewhere else.
This place is great! Quiet. Close to major highways. Yada yada. However, there are NO smoke free buildings. Meaning, if your neighbor smokes, you better like that smell because it WILL make your apartment smell. Would not have signed my lease if I would have been made aware of this in the beginning.
I am impressed by the responsiveness of the office to maintenance requests and that the main office a two-minute walk from my apartment. The name park is fitting for the property, given the amount of open space, maintained gardens, pool, and playground. I also appreciate the general serenity and quietness.
My husband and I have been living here for 7 years now and we are very happy. It's very quiet, but still close to all major highways and stores. The grounds are kept very clean. The best part is the Olympic size pool. We love it.
These apartments are wonderful! Lots of space! Very clean and silent place! Kitchen is a bit small but that's okay! Everyone is friendly. Also love the large closet space!
Devonshire Park Apartments are wonderful, especially if you're 55 or older. The main building has many amenities focused on the needs of those who have physical handicaps, and the activity rooms almost always have something going on for residents to get involved in: Bingo, movies, games, crafting groups, etc. There are also an indoor pool, laundry room, and fitness/exercise room. The Men of Devonshire (MOD Squad) provide wonderful breakfasts and other meals such as picnics in the summertime. The outdoor pool area is great, too, in the middle of a beautiful country-like setting. The surrounding buildings are garden-style, and many provide patios or balconies; there are washers/dryers and dishwashers available in many of the apartments as well. Neighbors are wonderful, friendly, and willing to help each other. Committees that meet in the main building monthly provide a great opportunity to get involved, meet new people, and make great friends!
Can't find a more active place for seniors,also near shopping center.
Have lived here for 31 years . Love living here excellent staff and when you need things done it gets done right away. They have a beautiful pool and fitness center. Lots of activities and things that get you to be involved if you choose. Cannot say much more love it here.
This complex of garden apartments truly looks like a park with colorful flowers, picnic tables, and park benches dotted throughout the sprawling grounds. There is an outdoor and an indoor pool, a playset for children, a gym, a meeting room and a library on the premises for all to use. Management is quick to respond to problems and ensures that the apartments and grounds are well maintained. Its location is ideal being within a half-mile of shopping and access to major highways. One definitely feels safe and at home in this peaceful environment.
Do you need an apartment? Well let me give a brief outline on Devonshire Park Apartments . You need big rooms, we have them. You need walkways for you and your pet, we have them. We have a large pool. We have a gym. We have dinners, breakfasts etc., supplied by a group of men called the MOD Squad. We have everything.
I love living at Devonshire Park Apartments! I enjoy the park like setting and the many functions they have for the residents. I have many very nice neighbors that make you feel right at home. In past years I've planted a garden which produced many vegetables to share and have enjoyed the beautiful outdoor pool with family and friends. It's located in a very safe area of town and is close to a local grocery store and shopping mall. I have and will continue to recommend the Devonshire Park Apartments to anyone interested in "A nice place to live!"
This apartment is such a great place to live, not just because of it's location, but also because it has many amenities. There is an activity room where the residents can become involved in bingo, play games, have a happy hour, and have coffee any donuts on a wwekly basis. The building I reside in is for those who are 55 years and older and the convenience of having a washer and dryer in my apartment as well as a dishwasher and microwave also appealed to me as well. Whenever I must dispose of my trash there is a trash shoot down the hallway which makes it very convenient, since I don't have to take my trash outside during inclement weather ion inclement weather to a trash bin. The rent is reasonable and the parking is very easily located in regards to the closeness to the entrance. There is an indoor pool well as an outdoor pool, an exercise room, a room to put a jigsaw puzzle together and other things to do as well. The apartments are large as one would need such as if a person would require a one bedroom or two bedroom. There are also a few efficiency apartments and small pets are also allowed with a small refundable fee required. This place is called Devonshire Apartments in Allentown, Pa. and they are first rated as far as I am concerned and I have lived in other complexes before, and have downsized from a three bedroom ranch style house, giving much thought to renting my next apartment at Devonshire apartments.
With a variety of activities, it is difficult to find a dull moment. This apartment has a variety of living space options, indoor/outdoor pools and various activity rooms. This recently constructed building has all the top amenities. With a competative rate you will not be able to find a better option in the area for active seniors.
Lovely environment. Friendly & caring tenants that look out for one another where many meet with one another several times a week. Management is responsive to our needs and are concerned about our well being. Apartments are kept up-to date and apartments are spacious and lovely. Tenants have made Devonshire Apts. their home.
Devonshire apts. has a park like feel, with spacious grass and tree lined grounds. The sparkling water of the large outdoor pool is like being at your favorite hotel, on vacation. The apartment complex is very large , QUIET, and well maintained. The apartments themselves are large and well maintained. There are plenty of social activities for those who want to stay active and involved with other residents. Devonshire is a very friendly place to live. You must see this complex to fully appreciate how great it is to live here, for yourself or a loved one.
The rooms are big and bright.Lots of windows (vertical and venetian blinds included) and wall space. Security good. Well tended grounds. Everyone friendly. Lots of activities. Maintenance crew able, efficient, and friendly. Lots of places to walk. Shopping nearby. Schools nearby. Church nearby. PETS WELCOME.
My Husband and I moved into Devonshire almost 2 years ago and we could not be happier. The apartment complex is beautiful, well kept and quiet. The maintenance is kept up to date and the response time is quick and the personnel are very helpful. Everyone in the office is always willing to help and the activities, which there are many, are so much fun.. If you want a safe, beautiful place to live where you will meet lots of wonderful people starting with the management, Devonshire is the place to move.
When I visited this apartment complex I loved it the setting as soon as I saw it. The apartment was very nice & had plenty of room. The woman who showed me the apartment was very nice and helpful.
