Property Ratings at Danish Village Apartments
I lived at Danish Village for two years and it is truly a hidden jewel! From the exterior the property looks neat and clean but not flashy like many new builds. Don’t let the exterior fool you - the units are beautiful and the residents are excellent neighbors. My unit was completely remodeled including beautiful real hardwood floors, tiled bathrooms, and beautiful paint and fixtures. The owner and maintenance staff are on site probably 90% of the time so the very minimal issues I had were always promptly addressed. You are renting from real people who care about their property and your experience - not a conglomerate out of state. I work from home and never had Internet issues or problems with neighbors. The maintenance is incredible too - they are continually upgrading balconies, did some roofing replacements, and have staff to keep the common halls clean. Neighbors are friendly and pick up after their pets. The pool was always kept clean and any parking issues were promptly addressed. Snow removal was done well, and the owner maintained communication with tenants via email in a positive and proactive way. I only moved away because I bought a house but otherwise would’ve happily continued to rent here.

Thanks for the positive feedback. We will miss you.
Danish Village is more than just a place to live—it’s a community where you’re treated like a person, not just a number. The management and staff genuinely care, creating a welcoming and supportive environment. Over the past four years, my experience here has been nothing but positive in every way—great service, a peaceful atmosphere, and a true sense of home.

Thanks for the kind words. We appreciate our community at Danish Village.
I've been here roughly a year now and don't think I can name a single issue I've had so far. Management is always quick to respond to any issues or questions, the maintenance guys are friendly and speedy with any repairs that need to be done. The unit I moved into was renovated just prior to moving in and, for its spacious size and distance to downtown OP, it's well worth the money. The complex grounds are clean and well-maintained and it really does feel like the owners care which is just wonderful. One of the best experiences I've had with an apartment complex in my life.
Great management, great area, great community. Management really cares about making this place as nice as it can be and they care about any issues you are having. I feel like that is unheard of these days. The only reason I am moving is I want my own washer and dryer. (also be wary the walls are thin, I would recommend a top floor) Like my headline says, I will really miss this place. I felt like I found a real gem.
The Danish Village is the perfect place to live for those wanting to live close to the nightlife and fun atmosphere of downtown OP at an affordable price! I have had a wonderful experience living at the Danish Village. Mimi and Tom are extremely responsive to all the residents here. It never took more than a day for them to get back to us regarding a maintenance issue or other inquiry. The neighbors are all very friendly, and I will truly miss living here!
No one replies on emails, answers the phone or returns calls. Disappointing!!
Danish Village is a wonderful place to live. The neighborhood is quiet and near everything you could possibly need. Mimi and Tom are very responsive and make sure issues are addressed. I couldn’t have asked for a better living experience.

Thanks for taking the time to share your experience and reviewing our property.
The property was taken over while I lived there by Mimi, she has been nothing but Stellar! They answered all of my maintenance needs promptly and even extended my back yard area by like five feet! They are constantly working to make an already awesome property even better.i honestly only moved out because I got a job offer in North carolina.i will miss living here.
Danish Village Apartments is within walking distance to restaurants, shopping areas, and the Matt Ross Community Center. The salt water pool is nice and it's a place I hope to call home for a very long time. More importantly, the new owners are caring people who are always looking to make improvements. They are the best landlords I have had. I recommend that others come and see for themselves if they are looking for a good apartment.
I moved into Danish Village towards the end of last year and I couldn’t ask for a better experience. Everyone involved with Danish Village has been phenomenal and attentive if I need anything, they respond immediately. Oh, and the unit is new and modern. I plan on being there for the foreseeable future and highly recommend it to anyone that is looking to move to OP from out of town or relocating.

Thank you for the review! We are glad to hear your experience at Danish Village has been positive.
During the challenging year of 2020, I moved into Danish. It was also undergoing a change of ownership. The hand off was professional and stress free. Mimi did all she could to make us comfortable. Her maintenance crew is top notch. I've never had someone come to fix things so quickly. The move out went extremely well as well. We were so fortunate with our time here and we miss our neighbors already!
Overland Parks best hidden secret! The Community is very well built and the apartments are very spacious. The grounds are very well manicured and the owner/manager is top notch. I have lived here 3 different times and if would highly recommend this Community. The rental rates are very affordable, especially for Overland Park. Danish Village is the best hidden secret in Overland Park!
