Just outside the 410 loop of San Antonio lies the quaint suburb of Monterrey Village. It’s a recent residential development with attractive landscaping and modern homes. The advantage of living in suburban San Antonio is that you’re afforded much more space than the city could provide, but its vast network of highways means you’re never far from the amenities of more urban areas.

Property Ratings at Dalian Monterrey Village
Overall, a good experience. Amenities are satisfactory. Community grill and pool is nice, but does tend to get overcrowded and dirty during the summer. Apartment complex feels relatively safe for the area, and complex has made upgrades including security cameras at the gate, security patrols, and parking monitoring to avoid abandoned vehicles. There is rampant porch theft and occasional vehicle break-ins. Rent seems on par for the area. Maintenance staff are fantastic and quick to address any issues. Leasing office staff are generally nice and helpful although there has been a lot of turnover.
Love the improvement the complex has done to give people more reason to stay as it their home or that there welcome here everything been going well for them and that’s awesome
Dallian Monterrey village, is a quiet and pleasant place to live. Safe and welcoming, the apartments are very comfortable, and the recreational area is like a resort. and the most important thing, a safe place for the family
The recent upgrades over the past year have really made this place an amazing area to live, the cleanliness across the complex is really nice. And front office staff have been great communicating with.
So far it’s been a nice quiet place to stay. Only one problem is the gates hadn’t been working for a little over a month. Other than that any issues I’ve had have been dealt with. My family and I are comfortable
the best experience was a little bumpy when getting keys but overall was good and would recommend to family and friends. i can’t wait to make it cozy and my own
Good starter apartment. Maintenance request are completed in a timely manner. I have had no issues here so far besides the fact I got my car broken into the first month that I moved in.
Great place to live. Nice apartments and great maintenance guys and quiet community. The only downside for me is packages get stolen so the security measures aren't the greatest.
I was told my apartment was ready for move in. I did a walk through with agent but didn't notice the mold and water warped walls in washer area. The facet sprayer in kitchen sprays onto the floor and something under the sink leaks. And seems like people are coming and taking up parking utilizing the facilities. Gate doesn't be locked so it's not secured on a regular basis.
Overall we had a very good experience here. This is our home and I feel safe for most of the time.
Problems all the year with cockroaches , and in general you see a lot of dogs popo outside, some maintenance you need to put over and over because they are not already finished in the first time
Can’t complain moving to this complex. The app is easy to use and very convenient. Would refer or recommend friends to use this app for a smooth experience
After three years, it's still the best place for us, safe for the children, quiet on a daily basis, the maintenance team always responds quickly, and the administrative team tries their best. We're very happy to live here.
It's an amazing complex to live in the staff. Respond back to you whenever they are available. The maintenance team comes out when they say they will. They go above and beyond better than my previous location and Gabriel Lord have mercy.
Been here for almost 10 years. Moved in when everything was brand new,and to see it now is very disheartening! So sad walk ways are dirty people don't pick up after themselves trash cans are left outside. Apt are in shambles when you turn a/c on water leaks from the ceiling in the bathroom. Tired of this!
Exactly as described on their website, peaceful with no problems so far. Staff is very helpful if a problem arises. Move in was smooth and apartment was ready on the date it was said to be ready.

It’s been ok living here but I got my car stolen and it wasn’t a great experience. The lighting in the parking lots are very dim hard to see at night.

I’ve lived here for a year now and the only reason I am leaving is to be closer to my job. If it wasn’t for that I’d stay. It’s clean and quiet and luxury.
Everything is going great. Staff is really helpful, the sweets and treats they put on for us are great, my son loves them. Dislike all the cats just roaming around, specially cause I’m allergic and they do go through our patio fence so I’ll just find them hanging out in my patio area. Trash butler sucks.

The staff and maintenance crews are attentive and they do try to do anything that they can to take care of issues. The location is great though. Traffic noise is rarely an issue and yet you're close enough to be on the highway in a couple of minutes. Lots of stores and restaurants within walking distance and the grounds of the complex are very well kept.
The move-in process was great. Very timely professional and utterly transparent. Some issues that are being addressed Monday. Overall it was very headache free.
I really like living here. My apartment is lovely. The grounds are great and well cared for. There have been a couple of disappointments. 1. I'm still waiting for a garage. Maintenance is still using them for storage. The second thing is I requested pest control. I made sure to make note that I work night shift and to call me when pest control was going to be done. Even put my phone number down so I could open the door. Well a few days after putting in my request I received an email saying pest control has been completed. Which it hadn't. No one ever called me so I could unlock the dead bolt. No one even knocked on the door to come in so pest control was not done. But they are saying it was done. I really don't like things like that. But other then those issues I really enjoy my apartment. Ready for warm weather so I can hit the pool!!
Gilbert was very helpful with my application process. If I had a question he would answer them in a timely manner. Excited to see what this new home of mine is like!

My experience is very well haven’t had any problems at all just one thing that concern me is the poop that the community people doesn’t pick up after there dogs no one likes the step in poop and I’m sure they don’t either

Front office very nice and staff very friendly, grounds are very clean and so are the amenities, Repairs to complex are always taken care of quickly, example gate and gate code box.

Staff never answer phone or return voicemail. If you go in person, no one is knowledgeable enough to help. They always want you to come back another time.
The community is nice itself besides them taking forever to pick up trash. The only thing I absolutely cannot stand is the neighbors. They all suck.
I like the price of these apartments, however without having carpet in the units, makes everything very noisy and the Buildings just don’t seem to have enough insulation. You can hear everything your neighbors do and if it’s cold outside, your unit is going to be freezing vice versa If it’s hot, your AC is going to be working very hardI just think the buildings are old.
So far it’s ok but for these apartments to be so expensive there shouldn’t be a charge for visitors to visit I really wouldn’t recommend for my friends and family to live here
Dalian Monterrey Is a good community, except the maintenance But everything is perfect is a community selling And the space is good in each extreme
