Nestled just six miles southeast of Downtown Austin, Montopolis is a centrally located neighborhood between Highway 183 and Interstate 71. I’ve been here across town for about two weeks now, and I can say that I am very satisfied with my move. Every interaction that I have had with every staff member from the leasing office to the maintenance there has been great. I have been greeted and I already feel like I’m at home.

Homeless Issues

It’s a beautiful and new property, but there is a homeless issue. I would feel safer living at the apartment complex if all the doors closed properly. Cops are here at least once a week trying to get rid of homeless people in the pool or inside the apartment complex. No one living in the apartment complex that is a female renews their lease because it isn’t safe. It’s close to the ER Hospital and Firestation, you’re going to hear sirens all day and all night.

Crosstown has been my home for eight months now and I have nothing but wonderful experiences. The place is clean, the staff are kind, and the residents are courteous. Bonus points for the morning rooster on the neighboring property — I can’t always hear him, but I love when I can!

Really beautiful property; it's brand new so everything works and is in great shape. The unit itself is well-constructed and I like having a gym and yoga room in the building. There are some issues to be ironed out, like with the garage gate and parcel pickup, but I feel the staff is on top of it. Something I didn't anticipate is the garage is bizarrely cramped--it gets really noticeable toward the top floors where there are more cars. They installed mirrors but they're not always visible at each turn, and I'm always nervous I'm going to hit someone who I can't see/who can't see me. It's fine for now but it might get worse as more people move in

I've only been in the space for 4 days, but the space is very clean, modern, and beautifully designed. The amenities are beautiful as well and so far it seems the management staff does a great job creating community events. The staff is also approachable and helpful in assisting residents with questions and concerns.

First time living on my own and this place does it for me. It checks every of my list from apartment amenities to community amenities! The proximity to restaurants and bars is great as well. Not only that but having public transportation right in front of our complex is great too in the event I ever needed it.
